That's where the Hidden power movie sets are from, they always reminded me of a knock off Death Star.
Out of all Chor Yuen films these are the most baffling and bewildering, which in itself is a big statement. I am a huge fan of his work, but those first 6 minutes of Heaven sword that play out like a "previously on wuxia" are pure WTF, but as you have said before, knowing source material is an advantage western audiences probably aren't privilege to.
I prefer Chor Yuen's adaptations to Chang Cheh's, just because I think they are better crafted with more love for what he was doing. Chang Cheh seemed to be following Chor Yuen films lead, somewhat reluctantly. Wonderful stuff sir!
Thanks as always for watching! I was kidding about the "maybe" on those sets - they are so nakedly from Twinkle Twinkle that I'm surprised the rest of the film wasn't full of reused material. I unfortunately no longer own that film and couldn't find much footage online, hence that choppy clip with the hall and the knockoff Darth Vader.
