As usual I’ll give a little info about her, her correspondences and such, then some details on my experience in working with her. She was one of the first goddesses to reach out to me when I first started my practice all those years ago so she is near and dear to my heart. Artemis is incredibly compassionate and the epitome of "Mother Bear". If she accepts you as one of her children (which all devoted followers are) then she will shower you with blessings and protect you from anything. She can be a bit vengeful towards anyone that comes against you, which has always made me feel safe and loved. I've been devoted to her for about 12 years now but she's been with me since birth. There are a wide number of correspondence and synchronized events in my life that are about her really. She is a truly great and loving Goddess to have in your life. She will give you the strength to overcome anything and free yourself from all kinds of oppression.

A good place to start is to set up a shrine to her and make regular offerings. That usually attracts a deity. If you can't do that then make a painting or drawing of her and use that. If you can't do that then some peice of jewelry with her or her symbols on it that you wear all the time can be used to remind you of her. Try praying to her, go to the biggest tree in your yard and talk to it as if it were her, these are all decent starting points.

My experience with Artemis has been amazing. My whole life I've felt a pull to the moon. When I was a baby my parents had to take me outside and lull me to sleep under the moon or else I wouldn't quit being fussy. For about a year now, I would see a very beautiful blue butterfly in my garden that would always show up around noon (which watching this made me realize that it well could have been Artemis trying to get my attention). About a month ago I lit the candle that I had in her honor and it grew into a 10 inch flame that caught me off guard. I was worried that it would burn something so I put it out but then my moon stone fell off my dresser and when I looked back up the flame was turned on once again but this time it was just flickering like crazy. So that's when I started asking questions and got the feeling it was Artemis. After meditating and talking to her I now have the honor of working with her :)

Hi! Soo you opened my eyes , literally like 2 days ago i was doing a statue of Artemis to start worshiping her , the next day a bird woke me up and I founded my quartz that I’ve lost like months ago , and I don’t think it’s a coincidence me watching this literally the 6th of January !!! Im going to meditate right now!

Thank you for this video. Artemis has actually called to me for so long and I’m ready to give her offerings but should I wait until January to contact her? I was going to during the full moon in cancer since she’s connected to the moon. I think she’s getting impatient because the signs are becoming more and more prominent in my life
You don’t have to wait for anything, not a full moon or a specific day of the week or the new year. Just reach out, today, now, and see what comes of it! Good luck :)
She came to me when I was taking a shower and said "just be yourself" or something of the sort. I've been seeing moons a lot lately too and hearing her name. I'm not experienced at all in this topic of working with deities so I might wait a bit more until it feels right but I do feel a calling haha.

I'm wondering what to give her as an offering bc I'm very much in the broom closet and I'm not allowed to have candles. also I have like $30 bc I spent all my money on boba and an mcr tshirt-
First of all- MCR YESSSSS!! And second, I’ve found that she likes unique things. So perhaps make something or draw something or even do non physical offerings like dancing or singing. Or maybe just a few leaves or flowers from outside or something. It’s the thought and intention that counts- not how fancy your offering is!
oh wow i didn't know about the bee part, now i am 99% sure my deity is artemis. I've always loved bees (except for a while when i was afraid of them but I've gotten over that). Thank you for this video!

I did notice deers quite a lot. Especially the white one in our area that I hadn't seen for quite some time. I also feel really drawn to the woods and the moon

I’ve been in a weird place for awhile just trying to figure out my purpose. I have a connection to the goddess kali but this morning I woke up and kept repeating the word Artemis. It was freaky and I thought maybe I should look up that word maybe it means something... wow just wow I feel honored she has been trying to help me. I’m very new not sure what to do next but research.
Research is always a good place to start, then progress onto trying to meditate with her and giving her offerings, start to build a connection and relationship, then start working with her in full towards your goals in life :) good luck!
Hi! I believe Artemis might be reaching out to me in a subtle way, idk. I see deer/deer associated things quite often, I absolutely love going for a walk in my woods barefoot and most of the time I do just to honor her. I ride horses often and see large hawk looking birds fly near me almost daily. Since I was young, and I mean very young; the age of 6 is when I started to get curious about health and especially womens health- more specifically anything that had to do with child birth.
Personally, I've always loved the moon and stayed up late even as a child; I was never a fan of the sun or bright lights. I've met somebody recently who's name is Artemis, and I see her name pop up on my social media feed quite often too, but idk.
I've always been more drawn to silver jewlery, and honestly look better in it too; which idk if that means anything .
Theres a ton of cedar tree in my area where I recently moved to (just 2 years ago.) Cinnamon has always been one of my favorite flavors/spices, which idk if that means anything either but I thought it was worth a mention.
I keep seeing ads for the movie wonder woman, where the main characters name is Diana, and even though that movie came out a couple years ago im still seeing so many ads for it? Again, not sure if thats her or just my weird social media feed.
Whenever I pull from my deity card deck, the water nymphs and cloud nymphs often fall out while im shuffling and when I use my animal deck, i usually see the wolf, owl and deer the most.
I've been researching about her for the past month, and after putting all of these signs together I figured I should make a shrine for her.. After a couple weeks of trying to pray to her and give offerings, doubt started to take over and I kinda stopped. Its been about a week since I stopped and the signs are starting to come back, they're subtle but I do feel like she might be trying to reach out again after me stopping.
The reason I stopped praying and giving offerings was something felt off? It was almost like my gut was telling me she wasn't accepting the offerings, and everytime I tried to light her a candle nothing happened even when I asked for a sign from her. So that kinda just made me lose hope but i haven't been able to stop thinking about her- Every time I do it honestly makes me so disapointed in myself because I tried so hard to try and please her and acknowledge her signs but nothing came of it. Maybe she wasn't even giving me signs in the first place? I really dont know -
Out of all the greek gods, I've connected to her the most and Im just stuck at the moment trying to decide if I should try again or just quit altogether?
I dont really know what went wrong, most of my offerings I gave her were cedar, cinnamon, wild flowers, milk and rosemary.
If you have any advice on what I should do, that would be so appreciated im so stuck on this at the moment
Ok first of all, I’m going to tell you what I tell everyone who asks me to interpret their signs for them- I literally can’t. The signs are for you so only you will be able to notice them or know the true meaning of them. But from the sounds of it, you’ve aligned yourself with a lot of her correspondences so I wouldn’t say that’s a bad sign at all (just in my personal opinion).
Secondly, I’ll say trust your intuition. If reaching out to her again feels right then do that. And perhaps try changing up the offerings. A lot of people research the correspondences of deities and just use those correspondences as offerings- can you imagine how much cinnamon or whatever she must get offered? While she is very appreciative of those who follow her, I’m sure getting the same things again and again must get boring. Try offering something unique and from your heart. Follow your gut as to what you’re guided to offer her. Perhaps create something for her- a piece of art, pottery, song, dance. Improvise something. Something unique and just for her. That would go down very well, as it would for any being. Good luck!

I feel the most connected to Artemis Nyx and Freyja, I recently asked an oracle deck of mine what deities i would work with (when Im ready to) and all three of those deities kept flying out. How did you find your deities?

Thanks for all the information and your personal experience! I just recently started working with her. I first saw her in a dream I had. Wasn’t anything that special, regular dream where I had to fight lol. I’ve been wanting to get closer to her but feel really awkward whenever I try to do anything. Also on a budget and parents XP. What would you suggest on getting closer to her? I do offerings (not mainly physical, mainly like just activities and so).

Hmmm broom closet offerings are usually the best ways to go anyway- they are much more creative. Perhaps learn a new skill or form of self defense and use your time learning that as an offering to her. She likes that kind of thing too, since she know that not only are you finding a way to better yourself and test the limits of what you can do, but you are using your self betterment as a way to honour her. I always say non physical offerings are always better than physical ones anyway because you don’t have to dispose of them, you can do them whenever and wherever you like and you can do them much more consistently without need of materials.

I had made her a candle to honor her and gotten strong flame reaction as well as signs in regular life but the second time I lit it it didnt react to anything even asked it if someone else was coming thru and no reaction just the same bendy wavy flame toward the side completely feeling different than the last time and I know it wasn't her ...any ideas what happened?
Courtney G you cant expect them to give you the same reaction every time- in the words of Ron weasley “you can’t expect them to run around all day, can you?” Reading candle flames takes a while and every time it will be different. But I would just say trust your instincts and believe that she is listening to you.
yesterday i was with my friend and we were doing tarot and two deer came swimming down the stream.
it was weird because in my notes i had written down “sign” or recurring things i had been seeing and deer was written down.
Doesn’t sound like much of a coincidence to me ;P

Maliyah A well you have to find your own best way as that’s different and unique for everyone. My experience was usually meditations but you need to use whatever way you find easiest :)

I just watched this as I was thinking of reaching out to Apollo. I love all the things she represents as well as Apollo but I don’t know if either are calling to me. I’m very new to witchcraft like I’m still researching but I would love to have guidance from a higher power. Help what do I doooooo
My advice is listen to your intuition, look out for signs from them, reach out to them and perhaps give them offerings. Meditate with them, talk to them as if they were right there with you. That's how I got started and it worked out well for me. Just do what your intuition guides you to do and you will be just fine. Good luck! 😁✨💜

If you feel drawn to them there's probably a reason. Look for signs from them, they both give clear signs. Symbols of the sun or moon, crows and raven from Apollo, deer from Artemis. Artemis connects to me through butterflies, I don't know if that's universal or personal, but I keep butterfly imagery on her altar, I have a taxidermied blue morpho on her altar and little paper butterfly's of various species all around.
I’m trying to start deity work and have always felt close to Artemis however I am struggling with finding a place to start.

ty for the information! it interested me to hear the talk of bird associations, especially. do you know if she might be associated with hawks/similar birds of prey as well? i've been seeing them often, sometimes specifically when i think of her. t,he owl comment really caught my attention! a few weeks ago i saw an owl take flight across the road in front of me as i was driving home on a stormy night, and as it soared higher, lightning flashed. it was amazing! it definitely felt like a sign of some sort, too, but i haven't known what to make of it. i wasn't sure if it was related to athena somehow (i admire her but i don't know if i presently feel as strong of a connection/pull to her as artemis) or a different deity or if perhaps i was reading too much into it. oh, and i noticed an owl sleeping in a tree a while back in an area where there were many people nearby, and thought it was strange to see one so close, and interesting that i should happen to look up at it. sometimes i hear great horned owls, too, though to be fair i do live close to woods and fields, so... perhaps some of this is simply animals being animals, haha. anyway, i've been curious if the repeated owl encounters may be meaningful!
Only you will be able to know if your signs are signs as they aren’t meant for anyone else, they’re meant for you and to catch your specific attention. Perhaps ask the beings you think are trying to get your attention if they are, meditate on it :) and see what you find! I wish you luck!

Hay! I found ur video really helpful. I just want some help. I am devoted to lady Artemis but I'm from a Asian country where greek gods rnt worshipped. So I want some advise on how I should call to her and worship her. I've had some signs as well. Pls can u help me figure this out.
Glad you found it helpful- and honestly in exactly the same way as I’ve said in the video. Meditate, leave offerings etc. Just because Greek gods aren’t widely worked with in your country doesn’t mean she wouldn’t hear you or would ignore you or anything like that! Go for it- good luck!!

How to make offerings: put said offering in a sacred space and tell her its for her. Done. How to start working with her: meditate with her, make offerings, build a working relationship over time, then start including her in your magickal workings and asking things of her. Don’t try to rush anything or get impatient, and always be respectful. Good luck!
Was "Mother Mary" originally Artemis?
Mother Mary is basically the Christian version of goddess energy without actually giving her goddess status. Technically I believe Mary was more likened to Hera in Greek mythology, but it’s all the feminine aspect of deity anyway :)
do you know why Artemis is the protector of roads, ports and light? what does it mean? Is Artemis also the goddess of the moon? if so, on what sources are you? I don't know if you have already answered these questions in the video, but I'm not very good in English and some things I didn't understand😅💜
Artemis is a lunar goddess, yes. I’m not sure what you mean by the first two questions, as for sources, I get my info from various internet searches and actually communicating with the beings themselves :)

how did you manage to meditate with her? like are there any videos here on RUclips for guided meditations with her? or was it similar to reaching out to spirit guides and first just making sure you’re protected and all that? thank you! ☺️
In the way of making sure you’re protected first, that’s recommended every time. I do actually have a guided meditation for connecting with deities on here- it’s titled connecting with your patron deity but you can just do it with the intention of connecting with a specific deity and it will work just as well. Do that a few times to get used to her energy and soon enough, you’ll be able to connect to her without being guided if you do it often enough! Hope that helps :) good luck! And blessed be )0(

Dedication and perseverance and the ability to look within and love yourself. The only way she would reject you is if she knew you weren’t ready to work with her yet, or it just wasn’t quite time. You’re attracted to working with her for a reason, but maybe start with some research and offerings to get to know her a little before asking to work together :) I wish you luck!
I’m new to working with Artemis. Am I required to wear a veil? I wear a veil anyway but I don’t want to upset her if I don’t wear a veil one day
You are not required to do anything. It’s your practice, your way. The gods are easily slighted in some respects but not for anything like that. She’s not gonna be upset at something you can explain, especially something accidental. She would only be upset or angry if you do something to intentionally hurt yourself or do or say something intentionally against her.

They could be the signs she is sending you specifically because she knows you’ll notice them. This is the thing- a lot of people ask this question and yes though there are some animals generally associated with certain deities, they may also show you specific animals they know will for sure get your attention. Best way to find out if it’s a sign from her is to simply ask her :) maybe use a pendulum or something if you don’t feel confident in your ability to connect to her mentally :)

@@willowgrace8145 you don't have to be any sort of way to work with any kind of beings. Everyone's craft is their own, everyone's path is their own and the people that tell you how you should or shouldn't be composing your craft have no right to do so. There are obviously some general rules of courtesy that will help you not piss them off, but you don't HAVE to do or be anything except yourself and who you want to be. You want to work with deities? Go for it! Just be safe and respectful. AND NEVER LET ANYONE ELSE TELL YOU YOU HAVE TO BE A CERTAIN THING. EVER. You got this- you rock it! Go be your beautiful self and do your craft your way!
