Now that's what I'm talking about. Don't get me wrong, I love S2k's as much as the next guy and especially the Amuse S2k. It's just cool to see a Lude put in some work against a rwd setup.
Had a 93 VTEC lude for 8 years and it was an amazing car. Super reliable, super fun to deive and even got pretty good fuel economy. Wish i would of never sold it now that i have the money to restore/mod it properly
Who said preludes couldn't handle well around corners haha just whipped its so-called supreme cousin s2000 rwd highest hp in world for 2.0l 4cylinder 240hp factory against 200hp prelude Sir 2.2l 4cylinder. Awesome driving by tanaka
Yeh know they fully modified ,but making a point on how most people think a prelude wouldn't have a chance against s2k specially on a touge pass and it won.
I don't want to waste time with ignorant people that repeat stereotypes but i have both cars in stock form. Prelude 4th gen and S2000 ap1. As speed, brakes and acceleration S2000 is significantly better. As speed around corners S2000 is just slower and way more dangerous than Prelude. I don't think there are better cars not el. assisted than Prelude arround corners. It's an unbelievable car for Touge. Ap1 is very raw. You have to correct with steering wheel all the time those back wheels that try to bite you . Of course losing time. Might be faster on a track with long straights but on this type of roads Prelude is a masterpiece. I even know average drivers thinking they are some racing drivers :)) because the Prelude is so good and so easy to control . On rails.
But we are talking about tuned cars here aswell. I know that when it comes to braking the prelude is worse because of the worse pad, smaller disc, smaller caliper and heavier weigh. But the H22A has to be better pulling away from the S2000, especially when you consider the amount of torque it has. If i was gonna state the reason why its slower in your case i would guess its the transmission. The transmission that comes with the h series is terrible imo, people who switched to the H2B kit, and put a close ratio b series transmission in the car stated that it was much better overall when it came to speed.
Agree. But with slight tune and refinement my prelude BB6 is better than my stock S2k. Love both cars but love the prelude more as it is my first car and still have it for 18 years.
Also, people are too underrated and underestimated the prelude. Feel sad most prelude don't end up with good owners. Many of them are destroyed and not getting enough cherished.

このプレリュードBB1、BB4と乗り継いだが、剛性イマイチでドアがでかくて重いもんだから、振り回してるとすぐドアの建付けが悪くなった。BB6になってからは若干コンパクトになって剛性も上がって使いやすかった。H22エンジンはリッター100馬力を捨てた代わりに、低中速があるから使いやすいんだよね。

Yea, Jun has that Prelude dialed in perfectly. Faster in both corner entry and exit. Never seen a Prelude handle so neutrally before.
Lude is always an underdog and is being super underrated!

個人的にK20Aの音よりH22A派
排気量 パワーも十分なんだけど プレリュードは脚がよかった コーナリング安定してた

久しぶりに見たけどやっぱJUNプレリュードはカッコいい
JUNのBB4はボアアップで270馬力を達成した割と正気を疑いたくなるエンジンだった記憶が有るけど
超トップヘビーで剛性不足で超ドアンダーなバブル末期のFFデートカーを良くもここまで仕上げる気になったもんだと今でも思う
ちなみにノーマルのBB4は高速走行時の直進安定性が素晴らしくトルクも過不足を感じないGT的な乗り味なので
サーキットに持ち込むのが間違いなだけで決して悪い車では無かったですよ

The Jun Prelude is actually making about 270hp and I'm assuming that S2000 is making about the same
