No need for golf tee... reach in left side trunk and unplug small harness . I have 335is and never one issue with the unplug.

I can't stand uncontrolled loud pipes just for the sake of loud pipes...No control. That's why I use the BMW Performance exhaust that allows me to control the sound based on performance levels. Nobody knows until the foot hits the floor.

Just because it's cheap, don't mean you should put it on your car.
The BMW Performance Exhaust is $1600 without labor. I didn't believe in exhausts, until I actually installed it and really thought that it should have been the first mod on my car. That's how much of a difference it makes in enjoyment.

Hey Omar! Just curious is there anyway to help with the rattling or drone? I honestly don’t feel it drones in the cabin. I Have a bmw 335i 2010 n54 last year le mans blue M sport e92. The set up is about same as yours but got a custom tune 480hp downpipes etc. anywas downpipes and muffler decat basically and abit of a headers change. Any ideas on how to fix the cabin rattles? (Much love from New Zealand again ❤️)
You should have done the PE Mod since the mufflers were out might as well. Still sounds nice 👍

How're you handling emissions and CEL with a downpipe in socal? Thinkin about installing one on my 435
thankfully i dont have a cel with the downpipes. & for smog i will be putting my stock downpipes back on.
It's always 50/50 when choosing exhausts. Straight pipes can be too loud for everyday use. Any exhaust recommendations that give a good sound, but not too loud?

Golf tee mod for sure sounds really good for everyday driving
I love the idea of a track car but your car is pretty high miles and too heavy to be thrown around a track. I’d say sell it and get a 135, e46, e36, or e30 for a track build. It’ll be more cost effective and preform well. Just a thought but I’m hyped to see what you decide

I just put my 335is mufflers back on and replaced secondary cats with Vibrant resonators :) Was way to loud with downpipes. Maybe give the PE muffler mod a try on your car, barely any drone and loud up top from what I have heard.
Hey I’m wondering if buying a 102k mile 2007 bmw 335i coupe for 8k is worth it? Outside looks great. A small hint of scrapes on the rims and a barely noticeable dent on the hood. Sounds great too.

Get the Manzo exhaust if you're unable to spend the money for something expensive.
I think it sounds perfect dude. I think putting flowmasters mufflers will make sounds more mean, but not necessarily loud and obnoxious so you can still enjoy the sound.

An alternative to the "golf tee mod" is to just simply unplug the connection to the actuator flap for the exhaust valve if you'd rather do that, It's just a little bit cleaner if that what you're going for.

I’m thinking about trading my 14 accord coupe v6 for either a white 335i m sport sedan with 45k miles or a 2013 black 335xi AWD coupe with 40k miles. Any suggestion on which one would be best for me. I do live in Massachusetts so it does snow here and I’m worried because I never drove rear wheel drive in winter. But I really love the 335i with m sport it looks so good. Great vid btw. New sub here.
Just an edit. By the way insurance on the coupe is more expansive then the sedan by a good amount. It’s 333$ a month for the coupe and about 300 for sedan or less
UndoneMistakes get the xi since its awd for you and then you could just upgrade the bumpers to m sport and the steering wheel trim for like 2k total

Hey bro i would personally opt for the 2013 335xi simply because its an f30 and the n55 engine in it tends to be more reliable than the n54. both are good options tho ! If you can find an m-sport xi that would be a huge plus

Hey man be aware that the t mod will make you lose torque I've tried it on my 09 335i and then I reconnected the wires immediately because i lost a lot of torque
