Can you select track inventory, and it not list to the customer how many are left to buy? I don't want that on my website but it also has sold pas the number I told the system I had.
Hello, I love this video and Thanks in advance.. However did you go over how to see the total count of your inventory in shopify. example: how many pieces is in inventory total.
You are able to pull a report showing this but in my case because I have so
many duplicate skus I have to do it another way

Quick question I sell 4 different styles of shirts with screen prints on them. So question is I'm limited on the screen prints so I would give the screenprint the sku and then list the same sku for each style? Thank you so much for this video I've been trying to find something for months
Thank you so much for watching and commenting. Each unique item needs unique SKU code so if you have four variations of that screen print each variation option needs its own identification code.
Do you know how I can limit stock on shopify, It reads automaticly from cjdropshipping but it says only cjdropshiping manage my stock? I only want to sell a limited amount.

Hello Hannah. Do I need to set up inventory tracking even if I have auto unlimited inventory? All my products come from Art of Where. I'm wondering because it's not allowing me to publish to Google because my inventory is not being tracked. How can I fix this? Also, if I do have to set up tracking, I cannot find where to track my inventory. It's not under Products or Inventory. Does it need to be added? If so, how?
I am not sure, I am guessing you model is dropshipping. I do not drop ship anything so you may have to put a fake number in there is that is the case to show you have inventory
If I wanted to take stock of inventory is there a way to use the barcode scanner to manually scan in all the items in a store? Thanks!
There is definitely software you can buy to do that!

Hey, just wondering if you could show a strategy that would work for a clothing brand that prints their own t-shirts. Lets say I have 100 small black t-shirts in stock but have 4 different product designs live on my site. Whenever there's a sale for one of the designs, how can I set it up so the other product listings show 99 small in stock.
So in this case you would be associating the SKU with the black T-shirt not the design itself and I use sumtracker for this and essentially every single listing that has that black T-shirt option would have that same SKU so when you ran out of the 99 shirts that are black in small it would be updating in real time and all the listings that have sold that shirt
But the SKU that resembles that small black T-shirt would have to be the same on all four listings that has that black T-shirt for sale

where do you keep your inventory? im starting my own shopify but im not sure where i would keep the inventory or does the suppliers hold my inventory, im confused
I hold all my inventory in my office, what you are talking about is drop shipping which is another model of selling, check out my video “what is dropshipping” in my videos
Hey, I have a Shopify dropshipping with many products and many variants since it shoes, I also have stock. I want to find an app that syncs the stock to Shopify and we we fulfill orders in oberlo it detects the ones that are in stock and removes them from oberlo so that they can be fulfilled from the stock. Any idea? Thanks
ooo that is awesome but honestly not too sure about oberlo definitely research "How to track inventory while dropshipping and holding inventory" or reach out to oberlo and see if they can add that as a service

Not taking action and being in the same position I was in when I first was starting out. Also looking like a failure. But those are all inevitable things you have to to go through to get to the other side. It is apart of the process!

yes sumtracker I believe should do this
So if I am selling the same product but those products have multiple different colors, should I still do this? Ex: i have a wig that is all the same style but I have it in three different colors should i do this and should I also keep the SKU kind of like yours with the dashes or should i keep them very unique from each other since they are all different colors?
Each skU for each variation (color) should be different the skU should be unique to you and when you read it you should be able to identify each item buy thee code you make up

What’s with the SKU Stock keeping unit?
yes :] a number or code you personally use to identify the item for your own book keeping
what is the difference between the available and sku ... ?
the sku is just for your backend, it is super important for your bookkeeping so you can associate a sale to a sku that tells you important info such as Cost of Goods sold. The sku itself does not effect your inventory, its just important to make sure every product is associated with a sku. The available inventory is where you input you quantity you have available to sell in your store and this changes live in real time as you make sales.

If you are going to start a store and sell goods yes you have to buy the material to make them or buy a finished product to then sell.

If yes… Can it track inventory items that are only sold in a bundle?
(For example) if I put a book in a bundle but don’t Sale book outside of said bundle.

Still struggling with how to update my stock quantity. I'm selling handmade rings. I have 5 of the same stone available, but 14 different sizes I'm offering. I wish they had an option available within the actual Shopify app to just set the quantity across the board!!!
Check out my inventory app I use called sum tracker it will solve this problem :)
