With its laid back vibe, beautiful sunsets, and affordable prices, Puerto Escondido might just be my new favourite beach town in Mexico. Now you tell me... where's YOUR favourite spot on the beach? 🏖
Need to go back here its been 15 years since
I bet it's changed quite a bit since then!
My favorite is Zipolite, it's not so far aways from where you are
Definitely playa Balandra in La Paz Baja California Sur☺️☺️☺️👍You should go Dan!
@@fredfrederic6860 Yep, Mazunte, Zipolite, great little part of the world!
Perfect timing on your video. I'm planning a trip to Acapulco and Oaxaca later this summer, after I get my Temporary Residency card in Cuernavaca.
Enjoy
Me too. Planning on my first solo travel to puerto escondido
Looks pretty chill there 👍
Super chill

Oh and I am also from Winnipeg 🇨🇦
WPG 🙌
20 years ago, when I was struggling with my finances, my wife and I gathered a bit of money, bought something to eat and searched for a hidden spot to eat our food. We spent a couple of hours enjoying ourselves, laying down, looking at the sky or the horizon. I believe that when you do not have a lot of resources (money) you learn to enjoy the little pleasures of life such as drinking an orange juice or sharing some tacos. And it is my impression that when you have a lot of resources and all your basic needs are covered, people start to see food as given/ forgranted rather than a blessing. 50% of Mexico live in poverty, so we enjoy food. SHaring food with your loved ones is an act of love. That is why mexicans invest a lot of time preparing food. Sure, times are getting hectic and eating is slowly moving to a "fuel reload activity" but we are not fully there yet. cooking, eating and sharing food is still an act of love for us mexicans.
Bravo! What a well composed, timeless video!
Give the momma dog some water please, food would be nice too! She is nursing!
Didn´t know you were back in México, so: Welcome once again, bro! You are one of the persons who appreciate the more what México is and has to give. Thank you very much for that, Dan.
Great to see you back in Mexico Dan. I think Mexico is a happy place.. I think people are happier with less than in other countries. It is at least a less stressful country. Hope you
have fun there. You are the real deal, probably the only one I know that does not give priority to Utube but to yourself.. thats great.
Oh si, México es un lugar feliz!! Yes it is, México is a happy place 😊
Thanks--it was a lovely place and not overrun with people.
it is nice to have you here again Dan, enjoy the playas mexicanas. i let it my thumb up of course.
Quiero ir a puerto escondido
Nice Dan! Ive heard great things of Puerto Escondido and looks like it’s a great beach town to layback and enjoy while still having plenty to do. Cheers brother! Heading down to Puerto Morelos this Sunday. Can’t wait!
learned a lot from your youtube channel...clickbait skills you are a pro at that, acting, vlogging styles, and the innocent look. Glad I subscribed to your page
Yay! Back in Mexico ☺️☺️I need to visit puerto Escondido! How is the noise levels? Lots of barking dogs? Just got back to Ottawa from Ciudad Juarez MX last nigh and I already miss Mexico😕 it’s grey, cold and rainy here😔Enjoy the sunshine Dan ☺️
Great video, beautiful sunset. 🐢💕
🐢✨
Amo puerto escondido....
🇲🇽❤️🌊🌅🏖️
Ojalá puedas venir a Las playas de Pochutla. Mazunte, Escobilla, Zipolite.....
Welcome To Mexico Dan!!
Been to Puerto Escondido several times. We purchased a beautiful new condo in Huatulco about an hour and a half away so we can visit there as often as we wish. Places to eat. Smoked fish taco is excellent.
Hermoso ambiente 🌅
Great video Dan 👌🏽
I think Mexico is happy because it's devoid of the political belligerence that plagues the US. There is a whole swath of Americans who have decided they will devote their short time on earth into being consumed by politics, whether it be far left or far right. It is their identity and their purpose. They cannot help but to make every point of interaction in their life be political. It is a sad and hopeless way to spend a life but many choose to do it. I wonder how they will reconcile their time spent on earth if they have the privilege of a deathbed and a chance to reflect. Families torn apart by this. When you go to Mexico all of that vanishes the instant you land and my blood pressure goes way down. I love Mexico 🙂.
I didn't even think of this but ... This is so true here in the states. I never understood why, in my adult life I've witnessed so many Americans who include politics in every aspect of their lives. I've heard many stories from coworkers whose families stopped talking to one another bc of differences in political beliefs. This is partly why as a Mexican American, wish I was living in Mexico. I'm definitely retiring out there.
This guy, with the sweet sunset shot climbed a rocky hillside in chanclas for us! 🤣 another great vid, Dan! 🐢
Wow! 💚💚💚🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦
Vas bien, tus videos, asi como narraa lo que vez, vivir y disfrutar.
This was so beautiful 💗
Appreciate it!
If you want to swim I recommend you go down to Carrizalillo (go in the mornings when less people are there) or playa Coral, you'd have to go through playa bacocho since they have blocked to entrance to it 🥲 but both beaches are safer to siwm in. Hope you enjoy your stay in Puerto Escondido 🫶🏼
Puerto Escondido is by far my favorite place on earth ! I'll be there in the beginning of August, before moving to Montreal for work! A bit doing your opposite trip.
I'd love to have a beer in la Punta if you're still there, to hear about your experience in Montréal !!
5 seconds before you said ice cream I thought, you should try the ice cream! The meals on the back deck there are awesome. Not inexpensive, yet very good with a good view. Cheers!
5:15 Claro que sí, mi hermano. Pura felicidad porque tenemos y valoramos lo que tenemos. Creo que hay mucho de genética, aunque esa teoría habria que confirmarla, por supuesto. Saludos.
Much better than any of those colombian beaches you visited dude.
97 degrees... I assume this was filmed in March?
That sounds too hot lol. I say this bc I'll be in Oaxaca city in May. I thought May was the hottest month 🥵
Really nice video Dan 👍🏼
Saludos cordiales.
Dan! I really apreciate you adding english subtitles in the videos! Love your content! Oaxaca is magic, the culture, the beaches, the food....! The cuttes part of this video was definitely the doggies!! Stay safe!
Haber cuando vienes al estado de Veracruz, es golfo de Mexivo. Tenemos puerto, Orizaba, tlacotalpan etc, pueblos con zonas arqueologicas, la mancha
I don't understand what you're saying, but I just enjoy the landscape you're recording. by the way excellent video
Gracias Carlos. There are subtitles in Spanish if you like ✌️

How's the WiFi? I heard it's very slow in Puerto Escondido
Slooooow
Did you find it dangerous or sketchy at all ? Any bad experiences there ?
What’s the name of the breakfast place ? I stayed in los tamarindos as well
You’re funny. I like your personality. 3:46
Hi Dan, Will you ever come back to India anytime? Or did you just hate it here altogether
I don't hate it at all. It's still hard to travel far with covid. Relax
Did l meet you at Margaritaville in PV in January Pauline ? I was with an older couple and you were with a lady from Florida
No that wasn't me. I wasn't in Vallarta this year
Puerto escondido México , les gusta a las a jóvenes por qué ahí sin libres , hasta ni casco ven kito traen y no multan , no llevan cubre bocas etc etc
🚨 FEEDBACK. IN THE FUTURE LET US KNOW WHICH MAJOR CITY IT'S CLOSE TO HERE THIS WAY IF WE'RE GOING TO TRAVEL WE'LL KNOW WHICH AIRPORT IS THE CLOSEST.🚨
Cute guy
There's a black Mexican community in the area can you make a video about them amd get to know thier story or culture
That sounds interesting! Unfortunately I've already left the area
What happened with Nari, his girlfriend? Are they still together, did they break up? Are they in a long distance relationship? Just curious, they were cute together.
Our lives were going in different directions, and we're no longer together. I wish her the best.
@@TheNewTravel aaww, ok, best wishes to both.
