I spent hours watching your videos, taking notes, and prepping for my interview, for a job I have been working toward for the past 2 years. I received news this weeks that out of over 35 applicants, and 5 final candidates, they have selected me to offer the position. This is career defining for me. Thank you for all of your professional guidance.
So glad to hear it, way to go!
Wow congrats!!! 🎉🎊
Wow. Congrats
Amazing! Well done you!
You seriously deserve it!
My favorite part of this video was when you talked about the importance of sleep while I was binge watching these videos at 2:00AM
I got a job offer today what a relief. Coming back to say thank you!
So glad to hear it!
Just wanted to share my testimony with you: I only had a weekend to prepare for a interview and haven't had an interview in roughly 15 years, so as you can imagine I was quite rusty. I binge watched your videos and had the interview this morning at 9am its 1pm and I was just offered the job! Thank you for offering free and useful content!
I 've been binge watching your videos and finally got my dream job yesterday! Thank you Madeline, keep up with the good work
Congratulations!!
Congratulations 🎈🎊🍾
I recently had a video interview blooper. Logged on to teams and engaged in a panel interview. No one’s videos populated and so all I saw was their initials. I assumed we were only doing voice, proceeded to answer my behavioral questions taking Madeline’s tips (thanks Madeline) and 40 minutes in, EVERYONE’S FACES POPPED UP! I was absolutely MORTIFIED and expressed it! After explaining what happened, we all shared a laugh and they were like we could see you the entire time! Thinking it was just voice I was taking notes and delivering answers with my head down mostly, which the director said she was impressed with! Massive blunder, but I made it to the third round! Wish me luck folks! It’s another panel interview with a presentation involved! I hope this gives someone comfort who has a tech blunder in a virtual interview! Biggest note: DON’T assume you can’t be seen and conduct yourself as if you can be seen! lol!
Did you get the job?
@@kattracey4186 yes I did!! Not for the position I applied for though! The director thought I would be great for another role that was just opening up and I’ve been with the organization for two weeks now! I was even able to negotiate for a salary higher than offered!
@@mimiwonder Yaaaaay!! Congratulations!!! I hope all is well and life is treating you well! Take care and congratulations again!
@@kattracey4186 Thank you so very much! I have only ever seen comments like mine about interviews/negotiations and positive outcomes and was skeptical, but in the end, it actually worked out that way for me taking tips from Madeline and other hiring and HR managers! Be well and thank you again for the well wishes-I really do appreciate it! I hope you are doing awesomely in life also :) Are you currently searching?
@@mimiwonder You're welcome and I guess I'm going to have to start watching more of her videos and yes, I am still searching. I really suck at the interview process because I'm nervous and then my mind becomes blank as soon as I'm asked a question and then a rejection email. And you are welcome again, thank you for responding to my comments, please take care!
Pro Tip: (and this goes for any video call) DO check what the camera sees just like she said, then TURN OFF SELF-VIEW! Just one less thing to distract yourself/be made awkward by
I got the job!
I spent a significant amount of time watching your videos to prepare, wrote and re-wrote my answers, and really put the effort in, and was offered the job 2 days after the second interview. Thank you so much for all the valuable advice!
I have been binge-watching your videos after finding out I now have an interview for my biggest role I would have yet. A role that I would be making more than my mother ever made. As someone that's without a college degree and is only in my early 20s, I am extremely nervous but I need this position to catch up with how much I have fallen behind because of the pandemic. Will update this after the interview. Crossing my fingers!!
I'm doing my interview today. 13mins before I go for a virtual interview. Wish me luck!
I have been binge watching your videos all afternoon to prepare for my interview this Friday. I had an initial phone call today and after speaking with the person I was offered an interview and was given a “cheat sheet” with preparation tips and I’m using that outline with your tips to create my interview tool box and I feel like I will be so ready for this interview!
I cannot wait to rock this 🙏
Good luck!
Thank you so much, Madeline! I found your channel about a week ago and have been watching in preparation for a gauntlet of interviews this morning (4 in a row!). I emailed them with personal thank you emails after, following your guide, and one responded within 25 minutes with a job offer! You've been such a great help! Thank you!
Congratulations!!
Madeline's advice WORKS! I have been following you for months since I started my job search in November and today after many virtual interviews, was offered my dream role. I cannot recommend you enough! Thank you.
It's 3am and my interview is at 11am. Wow there goes tip number 2🙈
Thanks for all the great information. I appreciate it! I received a job offer because I did great in my video interview. I recently received compliments during and after the interview by the supervisor! Take care 💜
I literally watched all your videos prior to going through this tough interview process and I GOT THE OFFER TODAY!!! Thank you so much your videos helped me a ton!!! Definitely gonna suggest your videos to anyone I know that has an interview in the future! You’re the bomb 💣
I spent around three weeks studying and taking notes. As soon as I got the email that I was qualified, I took action. I made sure I rested and worked in my peak hours, and took a break so my mind could refresh. I took notes from here too. Now , I am waiting for a response. Thank you!
3:40 me three hours before my interview this afternoon: whoops
same omg its 2am and i have my interview at 2pm
Same! 😂😂 How did the interview go?
Hello Just want to say that I applied all your tips to my interview and I got the job. Thank you. You rock
It's incredible was my first time washing this channel for my interview and just today I got my job.
I did an "opening statement" for a zoom interview and nailed it. Primacy is so helpful, :)
I have a job interview soon. I’ve been watching you for a while…amazing stuff! Thank you so much!
Do you know your smile is like million dollar when you are speaking madeline? So lucky to watching it free!
I didn't think I was going to like this BUT YOU SO WON ME OVER. thank you for the amazing content and delivery.
I have a zoom interview (2nd interview) in 3 days! I’m nervous. 😟 thank you for your help in these videos!
Thank you for all your videos! I got my dream job today!!!
Girl, love your energy and guidance
😄😄
Not me sighing 2 hours watching this before the interview. Sleep? I don't want it. HAHA jk
Did you get it??
I haven't interviewed in over 10 years as I stayed at my last job for a long time and then switched to SAHM for a couple of years. re-entering the workforce and switching fields, I was nervous! In fact, I had never interviewed for a position I didn't feel confident I would excel in before now. EEK! I made it through 3 interviews and have a job offer! Thank you! Your videos have been priceless! Well in my case, they're worth a higher salary I've ever had!
Great video Madeline. Going to be using these tips for my Teams interview tomorrow. Late afternoon interview, but it's in the sweet spot for my energy! Time to get some rest and thanks for the RISE Sleep app mention, I'll check it out.
Glad to hear it!
This one video was enough for me to subscribe. Great content, thank you!
This video has offered so much that I haven't found in other interview tips. Thanks a lot! Hoping I'll be next in sharing their success testimonials
Thank you so much for all.of your tips. I've been studying your videos for the past 2 weeks. Had two interviews for an organization, one of which was yesterday, and received a job offer today! Wi-fi High Five! ✋🏾
WiFi high five!
Tip #1 definitely helped me ace my graduate school interviews! And I truly did feel connected to my interviewers.
Incredible to hear! Way to go!
Great video and the topic is what so many candidates need to focus on now. Video interviewing is being done now by most of my clients. Prior to COVID it was a fraction. Mastering the vid interview is paramount now for talent on the hunt.
I'm about to nail this interview tomorrow! Thanks for doing what you do, Madeline! 🎯💪
Watching this an hour and a half before the interview when she says “don’t cram the day of” while on 5 hours of sleep😳🫠😅
Man I needed your YT page a year ago when I was getting interviews. Now I can't even get an interview. Hopefully I get an interview for a job I want soon and I can use your Tips. 🤞🏾
Love all your advice, thank you for providing and being so full of positivity.
You have great energy 🙏🏻
Great tips, thank you. Def feel more confident after watching this and I had a good laugh throughout. Took the edge off. Since getting ready for this new interview/role has a been a little stressful.
These are great, thank you!
Thank you, this was helpful!
I love all of your videos. Thank you very much!!!
Yay! Thanks for the kind words
Thank you for the advice Madeline!
My pleasure!
Very Useful Video!!! Thank you Mandeline!
Glad to hear it!!
Omg, your videos are so helpful! I got an offer today and I wanted to say thank you!!! Your tips helped me through my entire interview process!!!
Way to go!!!
BRUH THAT CASUAL ADD SLIDE, AMAZING
Thank you for the Rise app....it is extremely helpful. Have internal interview next week higher position and salary ... Taking notes and preparing.
My interview is 10:15 am - yay!
Hi thank you for everything you do, all of the advice has been great. Can you do what to when you have a second interview with the same company?
I will def share your videos and channel with my friends.
Thanks so much!
I didn’t come here from your tiktok but soon after i left, you appeared on my fyp
Great info though! Thumbs up for sure 👍
Me watching this at 2:00 am trying to cram everything for tomorrow
I am not a morning person. My "peak times" are like 4:30 pm and 10:00 pm. So is it better to just pick times when the interviewer will be at their peak? Due to time zones, my daytime peak time will likely be right just after their lunch.
great!!
You are Soo prettyyy😍😍😍☺️☺️☺️Thankyou for the help💗💗💗
This is amazing quality content. Thank you so much for working so hard for us!
Your tips are great 👍🏽 I do have a question I had the virtual interview then they invited me to complete an application so what now 🤷🏽♀️ what are they doing 😊
Watching the night prior 😵💫 whoops. Thankfully I found you, so if not best, I’m prepared for future things
Hello Madeline! Is it ok if make a PowerPoint for my "tell me about yourself question" ? Any tips? Would be super glad if you reply. Thank you.
Favourite RUclips channel
I have an interview in the next 2 hours!
Oh dear I’m watching this the night before my interview 😳
Me too
Don’t tell someone too much info about them or you’ll be seen as a stalker
your videos are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks❤
thank u sm!
This is Just great!1 I have lot of interviews lined up and I am excited to use all the tips. Thanks you Madeline... you are awesome!
Good Luck!!
Hi, I have loved your tips do you do any 1 on 1 coaching?
2:30 sounds stalkerish but I never been on the other side of being the interviewer to begin think it could be a good idea to say something stalkerish to make the interviewer feel seen or noticed.
This is one tip I'm not taking no matter what lol. I can't shake the feeling that it feels forced and awkward and I'm going with my gut.
This is really helpful, even despite I hadn't got shortlisted for my first job. Your tips helped me in lesrning how to tackle my problematic conversational skills
Madeline what is the best way to get in touch with you for coaching? I’ve tried applying on your website several times but no response after a couple of weeks now
I love you , I don't know why
this second tip "scares" me. at 2 AM. I've read an email about an interview today and couldn't sleep well after that. The interview will happen in 2 hours from now and I'm here binge watching your videos hahaha
Well, how did it go??
@@MK-ih6wp Not as good as I could but I think I was ok... They said that until next week I should be hearing from them
@@MK-ih6wp I got hired! haha! Today was the last interview!
I have an option to interview at 10am or 3pm next week. I chose 3pm. . 🤞🏿
Hi Madeline,
Have for question for you.
I had a panel interview scheduled for 10am-11am (just PERFECT). Ive just received an e-mail from HR that they want to reschedule for 1pm-2pm (same day)....the worst time ever...What should i do?
Hello, I received emails from Walmart E-Commerce to their virtual hiring event next week which going to last 4 hours. What is going to take place during this 4 hours?
Hi Melanie, I could be blind, but where are the links you said were in the comments below?
Thanks!
‘ G ‘ is lasagna ... I died ... I love your content but no rest over here, my brain better catch it up for tomorrow’s interview
Great advice and I really enjoy watching your videos! However, the amount of apps that are suggested for things that I feel could just be observed with natural insight and common sense is a little over-the-top like the movie Don't Look Up. Ranging from an app to determine your best times of productivity to sleep deprivation. I don't think everything should be recommended and tied into an app.
Hi Madeline,
Quick question? I have a interview upcoming This Friday.
Wanted your opinion. This position is been my dream since I came here in USA.
It’s a clinical technician of a woman’s surgical specialist unit department.
Hoping you can give me advice.
Looking forward your answer and advice.

I am so anxious this job market is so ruthless
The only time that was offered to me was 2:30 pm for a position that I REALLY want. Ugh!!
As an older candidate (63), is it a good idea to close the interview with a mention of this and why it's a benefit? For example "I understand I may be older than some of the candidates you're talking to. I hope you see that as a benefit to the company. My experience and frankly, maturity, gives me a deep toolbox to draw from for any project or challenge that may come up." Or is it better not to say anything about it?
I think it’s good to address it, but the way you phrased it doesn’t sound like the benefits they are looking for (it sounds a bit like you’re playing into the stereotype that older generations are stuck in their ways and feel they know best). Typically the interviewers like to hear that you are consistently up on the latest trends in your industry and believe you can learn from anyone of any age.

I would reach out on Linkedin and ask if there is anyone from the team you can speak with to learn more about the role.

Ma’am, I am terrified. Looking for a new job after almost 15 years 😅
I have my first virtual interview tomorrow. What should I have printed out or by me?
Affirmations/3 questions to ask the interviewer/their names....that's it. Keep it minimal.
You mean the g in bologna. Americans pronounce it "baloney." :) Lasagna is pronounced properly, thanks to that g :) Anyway, thank you so so much!!! I'm in my 3rd and final interview. I hope to get the job. You're awesome!
Damn it my interview went from 11:30 to noon oh well. I have other tips of yours to help with that !!!
i dont see any of the links. am i missing something?
Next week I'll have my final interview with 2 directors. I already passed by 2 RH interviews, 1 interview with the local director, now the final one will be with the other 2 other directors abroad. Any tip? Considering that the interview will be 7:30 pm (after my 8h working day) due to the time zone?
Just went through the same process. Got the job offer after the 5th interview! Just stay enthousiastic & high energy. With Virtual interviews it's important to make sure they see your positive side at all times, even if you're tired at the end of the day! Good luck!

I am a fresher (studying last semester of my graduation course) How can I come to know the interviewer's name..I am going to face interview in a few days so please anyone tell me approach to find their name.. ( I didn't get any mail but soon will get)
How about if I’m 7 hours behind the interviewer? Should I do an interview 11am their time but 4am mine, for the best results?
How did your interview go? What time did you choose? Normally you coordinate with the Interviewer together.
@@YourCareerCreator I did it at 7am my time and 2-3pm theirs. But I did avoid Monday and try to go for Thursday or Friday for screening interview, with hiring manager I don’t think the day matters only that we do it quickly.
