      I have some questions:
      1. I’ve been rejected from about 50 interviews. (In the last one they found the excuse that I could have given more examples. There must have been 20 to 30 perfectly given interviews with no feedback at all. The feedback I got from a lot of them is that they went for another candidate).
      2. Before the pandemic it only took around 4 interviews to secure a new role
      3. I went to a top business school and have half a decade of experience working for blue chip companies
      4. *I’ve been given the advice by some corporate operatives that I could still somehow secure a role at a top company even if I’ve been unemployed for half a dozen years*
*Is it discrimination? Is it bias because there is money involved? I would just like to know what is going on as I’m being forced to retire early abroad/take a career break in the summer*.

Hi there! I just would like to thank you so much! I got the job that I wanted! Before watching your video, I had never ever been hired for a job that I had to apply for. I only got traditional service industry jobs by simply walking through the door. The many jobs that I did apply for never ended up choosing me after the interview phase and I never knew why. I now believe that I know the reason: My interviewing skills were lacking.
My friend then recommended that I watch this video. After becoming so inspired by the tips in this video, I went to watch 8 more videos to ultimately prepare myself in the best way possible for the interview. Needless to say, you really help me land the job and bargain for the salary that I desired! I cannot thank you enough! I will definitely keep all the skills that I learned and use them to land future roles!

One tip you gave really resonated with me. It’s okay to take notes and it’s okay to have notes. Also, it’s a great reminder to ask questions yourself. Have a few ready beforehand, and jot down any you think of during the interview to ask later, because they WILL ask. It makes us seem engaged in the process.

Big thanks to Ms Manne. Through her, I learned that interviewing cannot be approached in a haphazard, improvised way and that there is a method to answering questions that allows you to best communicate relevant information to recruiters/managers when it is asked for. If you're going through these videos in preparation for your own job interview/s and feel intimidated by the amount of detail, just remember that the true value here is not in trying to rote learn these templates so that you can come up with these perfectly rehearsed answers that you try to recite during the interview; rather, the value lies in understanding that preparation is important, that structuring your answers is vital to conveying your answers efficiently (i.e. getting across as much good information for the time you spend answering a question as possible) and that you need to always remember that your answers need to be applicable to facets of the role you're applying for.

I somewhat unintentionally put my resume on ZipRecruiter applying for a pizza cook job and since then, a few companies I feel under-qualified for have reached out with interview requests. You had so many great tips. I have to admit that my last interview I had prepared for it all and was set and ready. I was so eager about the company and their mission. I had all of my portfolio up to date and looking awesome, my outfit was the bomb, I had my research on the company and the current event in the back of mind ready to bring up when it seemed fit. Then someone told me about 2 hours before my interview that having my portfolio, a notepad with notes and a pen when I walked into my interview would make me look too desperate for a job. Like I was overly eager to work for them, and it would make me less likely to get a call back. So I left it all in my car, and needless to say I didn't get the job offer. I was however one of the last candidates they chose from but they ended up going with someone else. If I had only led out strong. Regardless it was hard to hide my enthusiasm to work for them, which I believe got me as far as I got in the interview processes. I do have another interview tomorrow at 9am est. that is a video visit. So hopefully I can get prepared for this job. Wish me luck. Thank you.

Thank you, Madeline! Your videos helped me with my first agency interview after a twenty-year freelance career. I knew nothing about interviewing for a corporate position, but after watching several of your videos and this "Rushed Interview Prep" video, I was more than prepared. My interviewer noticed that I went into my notes during the section when they asked if I had any questions. I am confident that this position is mine, and If I don't get the position; I know that the interview was a grand slam because of your helpful videos.

I wanted to thank you for the videos you make they’ve been really helpful! I’ve taken your advice and I was able to stay confident during all my interviews. Though I have yet to not be rejected. I have no work experience fresh out of college and I’m having a hard time finding a position that will give me a chance to prove myself. I live in a very small town and jobs are limited i might have to consider going back into retail jobs until something else opens up.
But your videos have made the interview process less stressful for me and I thank you for it!
