The political arc is here folks.
I’m so excited to see my favorite red pill streamer Destiny start to dabble in the political space
The grifting to the right arc is here.
I assume this video eventually gets to politics because right now I'm hearing the 1000000000000000000 conversation about body counts. Destiny used to be good on guy's issues. He used to even try to not use "virgin" as an insult but the redpill garbage has broken his mind.

This was one of those things about Jordan Peterson that I liked before he went off the deep end. One of the things he said was that if you want to change the world you need to do what you can to get your own life straightened out, his reasoning was that if you can't control you life how can you change the world, however it also prevents you from just blaming an other for your problems. I have a lot of problems in my life but I at least recognize that it's not hopeless and that there are things I can do to change it(even if I'm having some trouble finding motivation to take those steps)
That's the whole "Clean your room" Like you can't "save the world" if you can barely get your own shit together.

I think he took it to a silly extreme though. You can engage in activism without having a perfect life already. Peterson himself even did this, by becoming an anti-trans activist despite not exactly having the most stable personal life in the world.

Body count does tell you about somebody’s past. Learning about someone’s past is part of getting to know them and how their current personality was formed.

Everyone has a past. It's unfair to judge a person based on their past, relationship compatability is based on a person's current actions.
The redpill guys literally only attract the same women they detest. Tbh I’m glad destiny is done with that
They only go after the women they claim to detest aswell, it's really weird
shallow people attract shallow people. nothing surprising here
It sucks that people consider this conservative. My great-grandfather that married one woman and stayed married for over 50 years was ultra conservative. He prayed to Jesus every night in the back yard and would never own a "hell-e-vision." He invented tons of shit and was a role model to his daughter and grand children. He wouldn't have liked destiny's life choices but would have HATED most red pillars.
@anthonyhiscox red-pill is more man-o-sphere than conservative, they aren't political
Great point
I do love how Destiny's audience is constantly shifting between being entirely right leaning redpillers and ultra woke lefties based on his mood and who he's pissed with at the time.
Edit: I should've been clearer. I'm making fun of Destiny for calling his audience 'redpill incels' in one rant, then calling them 'woke lefties' in another rant. It just depends on who he's pissed at and what chatter he gets 'one-guyed' by at any given time.
Lol yep, it's one of the things I love about him actually: every new video is a new comment section that will be randomly right or left and you never know what you're gonna get!

You mean not every take has a black and white answer? you don't say..
Yea, I know, right? I'd rather watch hasan talk about his religion: Capitalism (the devil) and communism (God). He's not worshipping his god, though.
as a cancer survivor and someone who is actively trying to get better after treatment, I couldn't imagine having my goals revolve around a big bad enemy constantly.
I kind of get why one would externalise it, I'm insecure af and bad at life and knowing that I'm 90% to blame for that feels shitty, especially if you're not optimisitic that you can turn it around. I can't change that though, there is always that voice in my head that calls me out when I try to blame "society" or whatever.
Self awareness is a hell of a thing, most people are still troglodytes 💀
Me too. Sometimes I want to blame on how I was brought up and I have resentment. I also am self aware of my failings and still trying to find the means to keep moving forward
You can recognize the problems in society and also take responsibility for your own shortcomings though. Sure, there's always something you could have done better that would have put your life in a better situation, there is always a way, no matter how fucked society is. But society is also pretty damn fucked right now. A lot of people who have shitty lives would have much better lives if certain issues in society weren't so bad.
If you care enough and it's within your power, i think you can always turn it around. For some people the hard part is caring enough.
It’s also possible to care too much to the point where it scares you and you freeze and do nothing about it. Pessimism can be a nasty thing to deal with.
I really like the style of these intros. Make it almost seem like a legit episode of something, really digging it. Great job keep it up.
I do wish there was help for people who have difficulty socializing and approaching people to get what ever support they need to be happier with their love/social life. I don’t think destiny actually believes the idea that someone deserves to be single if they’re too afraid to ask someone out so much as annoyed at the people asking we take rights away or make life worse to cater for the kind of ppl who complain about it. I’ve known a lot of people who I think could be nice partners for someone out there but we’re held back greatly by their anxiety to peruse others romantically, I wish there was some better system of support to help ppl who struggle with it more than what’s just normal. I think therapy is a good start and can be a boon but like I almost wish there was an additional thing that was just focused on helping ppl be more confident navigating social interactions that are new or scary with less fear of doing something wrong not knowing it.
In the male dating world, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
It's hypocritical for a person who's known for shaming men for "bothering" women in the gym to now shaming men and telling them to grow a pair of balls for being scared to approach women. And even saying they deserve to be single.
Destiny is the master of ranting. I don't even care what he is talking about, it is just amazing to listen someone can rant so naturally.
I love the “no advice” and internet pilled Destiny. He seems to only think redpillers and leftists exist. Because he lives in online extremes. He’s becoming annoying af to watch lately.
Redpill isn't even all that extreme, but Destiny doesn't move in the really extreme right-wing circles, mostly because he'd be banned instantly if he did.

I disagree with Destiny on saying that F&F didn't help people to some capacity. This is an anecdotal experience, I'll admit that. I also need to lay out a timeline for y'all to understand.
I started watching F&F in 2020-2021. Became a huge fan of Redpill. A new person I never heard of named destiny gets on the show. Right around that time there were some things starting to annoy me after the honeymoon phase, and watching destiny perfectly word out those frustrations in my head, made me become a fan of Destiny while still watching F&F. At some point I finally got off the F&F train.
All that being said, looking back at 2020-2021, a lot of what they popularized, though it may seem cookie-cutter, actually helped me as a person. It may be generic, it may be bland. But I don't think it really has to do with how you feel of the advice. What matters more is how that information is popularized through entertainment and then used as a trend. The afterhour shows are there for entertainment, misogynistic, sure, but entertaining nonetheless. And that's what drew people in. But the caveat was that you, a male fan, would ALSO be called out for your flaws, by being told what you are doing wrong. It's hard to lay out in text. If I had a whiteboard I could illustrate where the important parts are. Or if I could just record my voice or something so you can hear my emphasis.
On the other hand, though, how many dudes who were down on their luck got their negativity towards women reinforced and ended up worse for it? At the end of the day, all these redpillers are just riding the trendwave to get an audience that finances them, that's why it's lame that a lot of their advice is vapid. Even if they end up helping some people, their number one priority is to hustle, so they don't bother giving constructive help beyond the bare bones required to keep the operation going, cuz the entertainment factor provides more for their brand and growth. It's like if you had a personal trainer who gives you a decent program, but not the best one possible, to keep you as a client as long as possible.
Before falling into the f&f space did you do what destiny suggested reading your average popular self help books. Because I think if f&f somehow showed that despite their audience already looking at the more popularized self help content it didn't have nearly the positive effect on their life then watching f&f. Idk if that at all made sense my grammar is garbage and I'm not eloquent at all.
@@Immor7alBG I'm not defending them to any capacity. And to be honest I pretty much agree with everything you said. What I'm trying to say is not in any way trying to outweigh the negative shit they did. All I am trying to do is be honest and say that I believe they did popularize working out, getting your money right, sacrificing immediate satisfaction like constant gaming, and not get into crypto schemes (if you ever watched their Tuesday/Wednesday show). But I would never in my life take that information or statement and use that to deflect the bad shit they do too. I just don't think it's healthy to ridicule the good that someone might do just because you recognize the bad they do. It could be a good tactic to help those who are lost by showing them "Hey, when you say these things, the world enjoys that, so if you go this route, you could help a lot of people" instead of just outright denying them of that redemption.
@@Axolotlian it was hard to understand. Are you trying to convey that the people that have already been looking into self-help content way before F&F that, when being introduced to the show, it didn't have a great effect on them? Idk I'm lost as I was typing this. I'm sorry.
@@CommanderCodyChipless Yeah I'm wondering if the people or you already bounced off the normal self help stuff but found ff more helpful because of x. Or if you found idk David goggins or Tony Robbins idk name your self help guy here before even hearing about f&f do you think they would of had the same pull or positive impact.
Side story because I did find David goggins,Tony Robbins, and did read 7 habits of highly effective people etc and I've always wondered why people choose figures like ff/ or Andrew tate when imo if you want that impossibly high testosterone shit id just watch a david goggins video or even jocko willink. Idk I feel like the reason why I did bounce off or just wasnt interested in Andrew tate and FF was because of those experiences. Not even because of the other problematic elements.
Is August still editing? I really love the way he's been doing intros recently. I'm not even sure how to describe it. It's not like cringe adhd zoomer editing, but it definitely feels younger, more fresh; while also while also introducing the content of the video in a flashy, professional manner.
It's OK to be insecure. A lot of people are. It's normal. But recognise it.. Rather than pass it on to someone else as being something they need to change rather than yourself. There's nothing worse than passing the blame onto others, for your shortcomings. Plus, if you recognise it's your own insecurities, you have more chance of working on yourself to change that?
I blame myself and I don't do anything about it. That's what leads to guilt and shame. I can see why people blame others.
Really appreciate your mindset man, it’s rare nowadays, to look outward and within at your own biases.. too many people are in their own little echo chambers hence this political divide we have now. The reason everyone has bad guys is because it feels good. Society is filled with tons of different people that want tons of different things, and there's tons of different systems we use to keep society functioning. So trying to deal with all our issues with a sense of nuance, understanding or compromise is like unraveling a gigantic nest of knots one strand at a time. Plus it has you constantly test your own thoughts and beliefs, which terrifies many people.
But if you just stick all of our problems on a single group - whoever it is - that tangled nest becomes basically just a bow knot. It feels more manageable. All you have to do is get your chosen pariah to leave, or obey, or be restricted somehow. Nice and simple. No gray.
I'm sure this comment will get allot of backlash, maybe even some hate from dedicated destiny fans.
But I'm starting to get sick of him only hating on red pill / MRA.
Yes, he specifically focused on it with being his prior arc and has done a great job of highlighting stupidity within the movement, very well I may add.
There's bountiful stupidity in ALL sociopolitical movements.
But with his sociopolitical take on dating, he clearly has a gynocentric / ableist bias. Somewhat like Hasan also does when it comes to dating.
To me this point is further illustrated with his poor take on passport bros. As it greatly lacks nuance and completely throws men under the bus. Simply assuming the worst in them, not taking into account men's lowers social intelligence nor a more prevalent rise in neurodivergency.
I'm all for calling out toxicity WHEREVER it exists, but I personally am getting tired of only hearing how men need to do better.
There is plenty of hypocrisy within feminism/wokevism and within female dating preferences too. Especially since dating is mostly a matriarchy and the power lies in the hands of women. Where there's power there's accountability / responsibility to be had no? Not to mention the endless hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance that exists within most of these sociopolitical movements too?
I know Destiny has a left leaning bias, so some coddling towards feminism and wokevism might be expected, but I'm starting to think he's not centre/left but just plain left.
I know he's more nuanced that Hasan, but when it comes to feminism and dating, I do not think he's better or nuanced at all.
Thanks for listening to my rant. Looking forward to seeing the viewpoints that spawn from the many comments that I'm sure will ensue.
This comment is just complaining, not much discussion to be started really.
"but I'm starting to think he's not centre/left but just plain left." He is a progressive and has been for like 10 years.
Kinda wild how after his first video of not coddling MRA/red pill you get a comment like this when he just spent months baby stepping a ton of red pillers around new ideas. He has roasted feminist points of view and women constantly too, so you don't "only hear how men need to do better" from him. Unless I've somehow missed a specific take of his in this video that you're taking issue with it really just sounds like you want to complain. He doesn't "only hate on red pill/MRA".
@@ab3240 This is not his first video of not coddling MRAs, I've seen endless videos of him roasting them from pearl to fresh n fit to the whatever podcast. Anti red-pill, was one of his long term arcs. I am yet to see AN ENTIRE ARC of him focused on dismantling and shitting on feminism, wokevism and female dating preferences. At best you will get tiny random tid bits smattered throughout other long format videos. But feel free to prove me wrong. I'm happy for you to link even just one long format video where he attacks these predominantly left ideologies at length.
@RavisherDevil Did you miss his entire "has wokeism gone too far" mini series where he went to college campus after college campus talking to students about why he though it had gone too far? He also has several videos talking to Farha and other feminist creators about realistic expectations for casual s*x and casual dating. Body count comes from people seeking validation and attention, and having a high tolerance towards risk. These feelings doesnt go away just because youre in a relationship.
That way you are overthinking this will ensure that you will be lonely for the rest of your life and it will be all your fault

I love how you used PBD as your example for these grifty, bad-faith figures. Red pill really is such a backwards perspective, driven by insecurity.
PBD went dogsh*it real fast. At the beginning there was actually some good content... then i stopped watching for a while, I came back and saw Anthony Weiner interview... and I was, like, wtf? PBD looked like he's going through opiate withdrawal - he was sweaty, erratic, in disarray... and went full conspiracy. I can't stand Weiner, but he actually looked sane compared to pbd...
It's clearly deliberate, though. Watching him interact with Chris Cuomo or Jenk, he clearly knows what is reasonable and what is completely playing to his audience. I don't even want to watch any of his newer content unless it's someone respectable, as bad as that sounds. Kinda turned into a Rogan conversation style in that it's mostly conspiracies or baseless theories. Destiny has to point out more of it.

I'm also one of the only people I know in person that just likes to hear everyone's opinions. It stems from the fact I'm introverted, and can't articulate my opinions properly in person. It's allowed me to understand where most people come from since my preference is just listening. I honestly believe that if most people would just listen they might not agree, but they'd be able to find a compromise. Most people aren't evil, but there are a good number of people so far left or right that they just don't see the bigger picture.
Been a long time subscriber to Destiny's channel despite disagreeing with a good number of his opinions since I know he's done his own research. We all find studies that confirm our own beliefs, but most of us want what's best for everyone. Love your content Destiny, and I always love hearing what you have to say.
I think this is the first time I've seen "Libertarian (not the party)". It really gives off a different impression than just "Libertarian".
Who the heck thinks a body count over 2 make a woman a sl*t? I feel like sometimes Destiny fights imaginary people in his mind or just strawmans to grift.
I guest you have not been paying attention
*F&F bodycount interrogations have left the chat.*
Have you seen any Fresh and Fit podcasts?
Kinda wonder if it's an age thing. I'm a little older than destiny and every relationship I had started with a question about partners. If either me or my wife had slept with someone we would've never started dating. Seems silly in hindsight but it seemed important at the time. Honestly don't know how current generation navigates dating.
@@IamName-vn7wp What was the last shift in world view?
Best bit of advice i ever heard was "you have every right to be bitter but you can't be" and "you have to play the cards that you are dealt"
if I dated a girl who has a high bodycount, and if she liked me I would be flattered.
Maybe you’re desperate?
@@Macheako acutally I've never been single unless I wanted to. if someone who had all those experiences likese me, and chooses me, it means that probably I give that person something that previous relationships didn't or maybe I am even better than the rest. and believe me, I can spot a desperate person only seeking attention and someone who is simply attractive and enjoys life a mile away.
4:51 facts 💯 Been saying this for years. Instead of looking up to internet role models, go live life. Gain enough life experience and reach your own truth.
its very ironic how he sits there and talks about "weak" men meaning mentally and in a EQ kinda way instead of strength, resilience, pain. Its neither homie. It takes both be to strong. You cant sit there physically uncapable and think you're not weak. The same goes for someone not actually trying to push their social dialogue aswell. Our bodies and brains need training.
This entire video was one huge epic Vowsh rant. I got chills
good stuff!
i like when destiny said the n-word
What? Where
The opening of this reminds me of a saying, “clean your room before you go out and try to change the world”…crazy thought.
5:30 if he’s just scrolling in a menu, he’s about to put afterburners on for grilling people
Good thing ive discounted everything destiny has to say and only get my approved opinions from another youtuber and destiny is my big bad.
STOP BIG DESTINY!!!
the beat drop at the beginning had me pausing the game thinking Steve's about to rap 😂

Thank you August for implementing the dgg chat in the video GIGACHAD RapThis
6:49 sounds an awful lot like the "clean your room" mantra
We need a 2024 Destiny Politics Anime opening
"Humans just lead short, boring, insignificant lives, so they make up stories to feel like they're a part of something bigger. They want to blame all the world's problems on some single enemy they can fight, instead of a complex network of interrelated forces beyond anyone's control." - Pearl (Steven Universe)
I thought I was old having made this account nearly a decade ago, but 17 years ? I humbly greet the ancient one.
@@dream1430 Still not as old as Steve
If that actually came form SU. That's awesome and shocking for a modern kids show to talk about.
@@GenerallDRK It did! And it is! 😊
I like this editing style
Yo what is the game hes playing? Looks sick
"Armored Core 6"
Just came out, I've heard good things about it. Supposedly It's hard af, so beware of that.
Not a huge bad guy that I acknowledge as THE enemy. However there are powerful people who implement and support "bad" systems that are that harmful to populations with comparatively less power. Studies support that those with access to wealth and privilege have greater tendencies to be sociopaths and psychotic. Frankly the inability to empathize, information manipulation, and the ability to buy representation to benefit the few at the cost of the majority in my perception is ethically wrong. Acknowledging and trying to change those systems isn't stupid or weak.
24:12 The moment Destiny straps on his horse blinders and plugs his ears (lalalalala...)
Goku and seeing Pumping Iron with Arnie got more teenagers into the gym than Andrew Tate ever has
I personally feel like there is a big bad for men and it feels like it's mainly social media. There's so much more support for women in general and uplifting women while also focusing on their issues more compared to helping and uplifting men and focusing on their issues. In social media you mainly see men getting attacked and called out.
I am almost positive these are the reasons why so many men have aligned with red pill mindsets. It's in a sort of way used as a support for themselves because I think it's lacking in our society.
I don't like the red pill community and how it's been entirely co-opted by politics and grifters. Red Pill ideas USED to be better because they were kinda lefty ideals ie: Societies standard narrative is simplistic and wrong, Ideological frameworks were problem, it's all just boils down to after the fact rationalisations of nature and nurture. That you can live your life any way you want if you take the time to get competent. The old pick up guides spent more time telling you that it was your own fault and you had to get your shit together. to wash your arse, dress well, get a job, goto the gym, get smarter and take every chance to talk to people. Now we just have tate.
I really want a educated lefty to rewrite the entire argument without all the Tate crap but keep the attitude that it's acceptable for men to unapologetic ally wanna live that life.
Normies do not think 1000 body count is normal bro lol
He didn't say that
He said verbatim it's not normal to think a a body count of two is high for a woman
Your brain is on autopilot
Normies do use the term "normies".
@@allelitememesaem3916 normies would care about a 1000 body count for a dating prospect lmfao

Gotta start linking these video starting banger songs Mr editor
Poor Sejin he caught Destiny in a cranky mood lol. His research sounds super interesting
Too early for comments. FeelsBadMan
I love the comments section on these videos.
Politics arc is finally hereeeee
About fucking time
so happy that dgg chat is back :)
Thank you Destiny, i really needed to hear this.
It would be difficult to concentrate on improving one’s own life and stop blaming others, while simultaneously avoiding following repackaged commonplace advice.
I think blaming others can be used as a very good and healthy coping mechanism as long as you realise it is only a tool to get out frustration and not a tool to self delude yourself into victimhood or co-opt a brain dead ideology.
Eg: You can blame the rich if you are just am average or poor person as long as you realise "I say it becoz I believe it has a truth in it but that's about 8% of the actual truth. Most of it is just BS. It just helps get through the day".
I think that a very effective way of using 'blame' since you actualise that the thought is false and you recognise it and the only purpose it serves is to help you get through your day. (As a result You haven't fallen into the victim mindset bur you do have a good tool to help you deal with shitty lifestyle and circumstances day in and day out. Since the unchangeable truth is : Not everybody can be rich, not everybody could be equally happy either. Life is unfair. (And this is a fact)
Oh my god this is literally Vinland saga I have no enemies
