If you built it as owner, it's just up to your preference as long as you pay your ordered swimming pool contractor, feel free to built a 3/5/10 m deep free diving pool.
Foreigners are under the Land Code Act prohibited from owning land in Thailand, therefore, making it impossible for foreigners to obtain outright ownership over land and house in Thailand. Foreigners are allowed to own a unit in a condominium building under the Condominium Act. Goes to the same argument; WHY?
it's very simple if foreigners are allowed to buy land at these prices Thailand would be sold out in 5 years, everything done right you can rent land, that's ok
