EU/UK Stronger Together: Artificial Intelligence Hackathon

As part of our Stronger Together programme in the European Union, we joined forces with Microsoft Hellas to develop a series of hackathons in Athens, Greece and Nicosia, Cyprus during which young people explored and showcased the power of artificial intelligence for the common good.
Young people with a background in engineering, computing and social innovation formed teams and generated creative ideas to respond to current social needs and the challenges of the global climate crisis.
The winning teams from Greece and Cyprus have been awarded study visits to a relevant AI project/institution in the UK.
