Gave a video like. Awesome return! Those cards are all great looking. The Pinson, Boyer and Santo are so cool! The Unitas in a 7 is phenomenal! Thanks for sharing, Steve
Great return, Steve! I do love seeing these, and watching these videos! My favorite for sure was the basement Card, Ron Santo 71 Tops!! I do love the Griffey 89 tops traded as well. I need to pick up a Dave Parker rookie card sometime also.great job. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Steve! Nice returns from SGC. That Unitas was fantastic. Always cool when you get the childhood cards graded and get good returns. You definitely have a good eye for grading. Take care Steve!
Hi Steve, I always enjoy these. It seems like they are in line with what you were hoping with a couple of nice surprises like the Unitas. I liked seeing two favorites from the era Namath and Unitas back to back. I never owned a Namath as a kid but I did have that Unitas. I never had the Parker then either. Glad to see those childhood cards encapsulated where they can maybe stay within your family. Love the 67 Sayers. The yellow border was unique for the time and adds to the eye appeal of the card. Good stuff, as always. Have a great Sunday.
Thanks Terry! Yeah, overall I was really pleased with the return, the Unitas and Sayers cards were both pleasant surprises. The goal is to keep sending in childhood cards that look gradable, think at this point I have about another 15-20. Have a great week!
Absolutely love this channel and the way you guess and then blind reveal. This is the best way I have seen it done. My buddy and I here in GA love SGC and since we have come back into the hobby about 3 years ago, the vintage is what we really enjoy. Am an avid reader as well - let me know your favorite sports book! Thank you! James
@@nerudacade thanks James I really appreciate the kind words and you watching the channel. I agree on SGC love the way Vintage looks in their slabs and I think they are the most consistent. There are so many great Sports books. That Sandy Koufax book in the background is a favorite of mine. I just finished Yogi Berra the man behind the mask, really enjoyed it! What are some of your favorites.
Wonderful returns Steve. Gotta love the 1958 Topps Elston Howard the most. I think that one just looks awesome. But I am a sucker for 50s cards. Love Griffey Jr Topps Traded. Santo for my Cubs. All were awesome though and thanks for sharing with us.
Wow! You did great on the returns, especially the Johnny U! I thought for sure the Santo was going to be a 7. It’s a beautiful example. Also, I love the Pinson and Parker. Both are awesome rookies! Take care, my friend!
Dude right before you shared the 58’ howard I was thinking man your a pro with grading now nailing every single one. That howard is an absolute stunner that would be fit so good in my collection 😉😜🤣👊🤙🤙
Love the childhood cards. The highest grades I have from my childhood cards were an 8 -1974 Tom Seaver and a 7.5-1971 Steve Carlaton all sitting in a shoebox for 40 years.
Those are amazing grades, just like you, my cards sat in a shoe box for years so any time one grades in a 4 or higher I am usually pleased! Appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment, have a great weekend!
Fantastic results on Unitas, Howard and Parker. Like you, I thought Boyer had a shot for an even higher grade but it was still a very nice result. I didn't see any head-scratchers. Overall, this seems like another great SGC sub. Well done, Steve!

Thanks Jason! That 71 really has a great picture of Mr.Santo. Have a great week!
Sweet return! Awesome cards and grades seem fair! Love watching these. Thanks!
Thank you, I really appreciate it!

Really nice returns! Really love those vintage football cards and really cool you were able to get some childhood cards graded.
Thanks Mike, appreciate it!
Congrats Steve! This was a fantastic return
Sweet cards and great grades! Congrats! Love them all but my favorites are the 58 Pinson and Howard, love the colors on those two!
Thanks Jim, the 58 set is such a great set because of the color! Appreciate you watching, have a great week!
Great return Steve! That 63 Fleer Boyer is an absolute beauty! Good luck on the continued quest for the 71 Topps 7 lol.
Thanks Jason! Thinking I might have to buy a 7! Had a great time at the show today and grabbing lunch. Have a great week my friend!

Thanks Rob really appreciate it! Have a great week!
Great returns. All were within what you thought they'd be, with most on the high end side. Can't complain about that.
yeah, I was really pleased! Thanks for watching, appreciate it!

Nice ones - congrats on the grades. You did well! I agree on Pinson. Very affordable player and the rookie is a great card.
Thanks Mark, really appreciate it! Have a great week!
Nice return! You really handled your childhood cards well all these years.
Thanks Mitch, appreciate it!
Nice cards. I'm glad I didn't have to see another mantle or mays. Love the Sayers!
Thank you so much, the Sayers and Unitas were both pleasant surprises!

Thanks John! I agree with you overall the grades were right in line with expectations. Thanks for watching, have a great week.
Awesome return man!!
Thank you, really appreciate it!
Great SGC reveal, congrats on the grades.
Thanks, Orlando appreciate it, my friend!
Thanks Joe, appreciate it!
Seems like they were pretty good to you on the grades except the Santo. They grade the 71s so tough. Great cards, Steve! Congrats.
Thanks Bill, I was really pleased with the submission, they do grade the 71s tough.
Really like the Gale Sayers card. Great Boyer card. I think he gets in the HOF in the next few years. Pretty darn good returns.
Thanks Drew, I was really happy with the Sayer's grade, and I agree with you on Boyer. Appreciate you watching, have a great week!
Nice return🤙🏽
Thanks Lou!
Any video with a Griffey rookie is a great video in my opinion no matter the grade
@@thedrewavintagelegacy6455 couldn’t agree more my friend!
Nice return. Still think the Elston Howard and Ken Boyer could have been 7's.
Thank you. Both of those cards are very sharp!
