years after years, I still find myself humming your versions and listening to this medley. If you still look at these comments, I hope you realise that your music has reached at least one person forever. I love your music and your style.
I used to listen and play along with these in my highschool days. Here I am returning at 30 relearning to play along again :) Appreciate all that you do man your art is fantastic
Nate Allen I was looking around for a comment praising that particular melody! I keep banging the timestamp in the description. It's really too bad he hasn't made a full version of it :/
I just started the video but seeing this comment just got me hype cuz that's one of the best jams in the game! I live playing as the Zora cuz he has the fish guitar and I would move the stick to change the pitch snd try and play actual Riffs on it and it works for some songs but I like getting my acoustic and jamming along to the sound track.
the transition from Goron's Lullaby to Epona's song was...the best transition I've ever heard. Keeping that metal style for the first bar really made it...jizztastic.
Wow, thanks! I recorded the lead part from Song of Healing backwards and then reversed it to get the original melody so that's what creating Ebow-like tone :)
Wow. This is truly amazing! I loved the New Wave Bossa Nova. Beautiful. My brother tried to convince me that it was the Minuet of Forest. But that's from Ocarina of Time.
Yes, I did! I recorded the entire thing backward and then reversed it to make it sound like the original melody again. I though that would make for a nice effect :)
Goron Lullaby Epona''s Song and New Wave Bossa Nova = win!!! Song of Storms and Song of Healing = Epic win!!! Oath to Order= Heart Attack!!! Awesome man you're the best!
Oath to Order is by far my favorite song from Majora's Mask, and possibly any Zelda game. The orchestral version with the pipe organ still gives me goose bumps when I listen to it lol
Elegy of Emptiness and Oath to Order were simply breathtaking. It would be awesome if Nintendo released an anniversary edition of the game and your songs played during some cutscenes
Thanks, glad you liked it! From low to high, the 8-string is tuned F#, B, E, A, D, G, B, E, which is standard tuning for an 8-string. I have been really getting into the more djenty type of music lately so I'll definitely look into that ;)
The Song of Healing is my favorite out of the game and your medley, mainly cause it is such a soothing song, kinda like the Oath to Order, which is my second favorite song in the game and Medley, awesome job dude, real awesome job
You are still very young, but already you display a vast foundation in your work and your aware of how to transcend music genres ranging from bossanova, to acid, to psychidelica and glam/stadium rock! I hope someday you will realize your fantastic vision my friend!

CSGuitar89 is Jadusable's friend. The man who have posted the last video of Jadusable's channel... Amazing :D Great job man that's very awesome !
Thanks! Yeah, I got the 8-string a couple of months ago and just started using it in my covers. I absolutely love the extended range and I'm surprised how versatile and comfortable it is despite its wide neck.
Do you know something ?.. I love you music! i downloaded and i listen everyday you music in my work, with my girl, when im alone, when mi drawing, or when im playing my guitar...Your an real artist!!!
Congrats on this huge achievement dude. It's been fun seeing these up every week even though I got the CD the day you posted about it first, and I'm sad that it's ended, but, once again, congrats.
This is such an amazing medley that has captured some of the most thrilling songs from Majora's Mask and put them together into one kiss-ass stream of epic. Once again, you've done an amazing job and I certainly hope that while this make be the last cover for this album, it won't be the last Zelda cover you do. Excellent work and keep it up!
Hey, thanks for the compliments! Although I haven't ever used any of these programs, the following Digital Audio Workstations (DAW) seem to be pretty popular: Mixcraft, Cubase, SONAR, FL Studio, Pro Tools, Reaper. Oh, and yes, I do make all the tabs myself :)
I figured out all of the songs by ear but usually I also have a midi file to help me figure out really fast parts. I do recommend figuring out everything by ear though since it really improves your musical hearing and overall skill.
This is my favourite song that you've done, by far. Everything sounds awesome, as usual, but the Oath to Order was just BEAUTIFUL. Great work. Great CD. Thank you.
Oh god. I love your perfection when you play a song. O_o This is the reason that Im subscribed! (Sorry for not making a longer comment but Im Spanish D:). EPIC
Well, I had owned the 7-string for and while it's indeed low enough most of the time, sometimes I felt the need to go just a bit lower. The A for example, is still pretty high on the 7-string. I was looking for a new extended range instrument with a fixed bridge and figured I might as well switch to an 8-string since my favorite bands were doing some really cool stuff with them. I actually find the 8-string guitar very practical and versatile and it opened up a lot of new possibilities for me.
Yay for ending this series with a bang! & Yay for Casper! Enjoy your holiday and enjoy your queensday and the 5th of may! (i know i will). Looking forward for your return.
This is an awesome medley, certainly brings back a lot of memories of playing the game. You did a fantastic job recreating all the songs, it sounds awesome!
Hey! Yes, I have been using GarageBand from the very beginning and I think it still works pretty well for everything that I do :) For the drums, I use Toontrack's EZDrummer, a drum sequencer that allows you to program your own drums or use loops. And thank you for the compliments, I really appreciate it ;)
Wow thanks, you make it seem so easy, but I know that it's gonna be a lot of hard work. I hopefully can start making covers really soon. I have already learned a bunch of songs from games I have played (Lot's of Legend of Zelda music), also your tabs on your site have helped me out a little as well! I really appreciate the advice. I can't wait to hear more from you. Personally to me you make the best video game covers on RUclips, and hopefully I can at least come close to match you.
Yes I do, please check out the 'Hymns of Light and Shadows Tab Book' on the 'Tabs' page of my website CSGuitar89. com. It's the very last tab in the file.
Great to hear you want to start making your own video game covers! There are a lot of things involved in making your own covers but if I may give you some general tips: pick songs from games you've played yourself and that you really like, try to come up with original arrangements, experiment with different sounds and ways of recording and most importantly, have fun! Don't worry about not having really expensive gear, just make sure you put time and effort in your mixes and you'll be fine :)
He first played a bass guitar for a school project and thats when he became interested in playing an instrument, later after he had played his friend's electric guitar a few times he decided to buy a guitar, so he played the bass first but he took lessons and owned a guitar before he bought a bass :)
years after years, I still find myself humming your versions and listening to this medley. If you still look at these comments, I hope you realise that your music has reached at least one person forever. I love your music and your style.

Exaclty the same
Your arrangement of the New Wave Bossa Nova is simply amazing, sir. It's exactly what I needed to hear.
Nate Allen I was looking around for a comment praising that particular melody! I keep banging the timestamp in the description. It's really too bad he hasn't made a full version of it :/
time plz
3:45 - 4:30
Yes it's very smooth :D
I just started the video but seeing this comment just got me hype cuz that's one of the best jams in the game! I live playing as the Zora cuz he has the fish guitar and I would move the stick to change the pitch snd try and play actual Riffs on it and it works for some songs but I like getting my acoustic and jamming along to the sound track.
Medleys are timeless, always beautiful to listen :)
the transition from Goron's Lullaby to Epona's song was...the best transition I've ever heard. Keeping that metal style for the first bar really made it...jizztastic.
Ode to orders makes my whole body shivers everytime... i can feel it in my skull
Literally the best hing my ears have ever heard.
Wow, thanks! I recorded the lead part from Song of Healing backwards and then reversed it to get the original melody so that's what creating Ebow-like tone :)

Ah... that transition from the metal to the soft acoustic guitar of the Lon Lon ranch melody was great :P
Absolutely killed New Wave Bossa Nova mate! Keep up the fantastic work!
+Emperor Palkatine My thoughts exactly. Keep repeating that segment wish it was longer.
My favorite parts are the songs that starts at 3:44 and 5:40. So emotional, especially the last one.
Y'know I was always partial to the ocarina songs from Majora's Mask, but you shed such a new light on them it's crazy.
Recognized the melodies of all but one within an instant, yet they were still new and interesting. Love how epic Oath to Order sounded at the end XD
Goron Lullaby Epona''s Song and New Wave Bossa Nova = win!!! Song of Storms and Song of Healing = Epic win!!! Oath to Order= Heart Attack!!! Awesome man you're the best!
This deserves a lot more views... especially for Oath to order... so beautiful
Oath to Order is by far my favorite song from Majora's Mask, and possibly any Zelda game. The orchestral version with the pipe organ still gives me goose bumps when I listen to it lol
love how mellow and country it dipped when you hit epona's song, really showed off your command of the music :)
I love how you were playing Song of Storms on bass, it sounds so amazing
Elegy of Emptiness and Oath to Order were simply breathtaking. It would be awesome if Nintendo released an anniversary edition of the game and your songs played during some cutscenes
Hey Darin, thanks for your comment! Indeed, I have been mixing my covers in stereo from the very first one. Glad you can enjoy it in stereo now ;)
I've been listening to this album for months but I can't get enough f this damn medley. It's sooooooooo good
Glad you like it :) The white guitar is a Cort Zenox Z44.
New wave bossanova was EPIC! nice rendition.. congrats
I have learned every song off this album. It's pure gold, and worth every minute. I'd buy this album 10 times if it were for sale.
Thanks, glad you liked it! From low to high, the 8-string is tuned F#, B, E, A, D, G, B, E, which is standard tuning for an 8-string. I have been really getting into the more djenty type of music lately so I'll definitely look into that ;)
I cried in the part "Oath to order"
Congrats dude i did it after 4 months of try
The Song of Healing is my favorite out of the game and your medley, mainly cause it is such a soothing song, kinda like the Oath to Order, which is my second favorite song in the game and Medley, awesome job dude, real awesome job

CSGuitar89 is Jadusable's friend. The man who have posted the last video of Jadusable's channel... Amazing :D Great job man that's very awesome !
I love all of these songs
Thank you so much for doing this. Majoras mask is my childhood. You are a legend.
Man.. I just love your covers! brings back memories from the old days. I've watched all your Zelda covers, and i love all of them! Thank you. :)
1:07 to 1:24 is just a amazing sound that you made with a triple harmmony. It sounds awesome!
Is it weird that I absolutely fell in love with the first song, especially between 0:43 and 0:58? The grunginess of the guitar really gets me.
after all this years thats most beatiful version of lon lon ranch ive ever herd
Absolutely amazing job. Can't stress it enough. This should easily have 1 million+ views.
This is incredible! I especially like the attention to fine dynamics and tempo shifts, like in the end of the "Song of Time"-part.
Yeah, that transition between the slow ending of Song of Reverse Time into the speed of Song of Double Time was fantastic.
each song he makes is awsome
Oh man that New Wave Bossa Nova was Brilliant.
Thanks! Yeah, I got the 8-string a couple of months ago and just started using it in my covers. I absolutely love the extended range and I'm surprised how versatile and comfortable it is despite its wide neck.

You rock! ^^
Your rhythm tone is so amazing HOLY CRAP
I figured out all of the songs by ear but usually I also have a midi file to help me figure out really fast parts. I do recommend figuring out everything by ear though since it really improves your musical hearing and overall skill.

This is my favourite song that you've done, by far. Everything sounds awesome, as usual, but the Oath to Order was just BEAUTIFUL.

Hey Jake! No, I actually recorded the lead part backwards and reversed it to get that effect :)
Oath to Order is definitely my favorite on this medley!!!
Great cover, and I like the usage of the 8 string in a not completely Meshuggah metal sort of way.
I...

waiting for this....
too long...
AND WORTH EVERYSECOND!
oath to order gives me chills... every time.
One of the best medelies I have ever heard for Zelda, keep it up!
I got serious love goosebumps about a fourth of the way through this.
Excellent! Majora's Mask had really fantastic music and you captured it swimmingly!
Really awesome job man! The last song was so epic and you arranged it perfectly. My hat tips to you

Casper! Thanks for all the awesome Hymns of Light and Shadow videos. Have a great vacation!
The guitar playing was smooth, the harmonies masterful, and the atmospheres conveyed by the tempos and percussion were AWESOME.

Yay for Casper!
Enjoy your holiday and enjoy your queensday and the 5th of may! (i know i will). Looking forward for your return.
That was amazing! Majora's Mask is my favorite game and its very nostalgic to hear all the songs again.
This is an awesome medley, certainly brings back a lot of memories of playing the game. You did a fantastic job recreating all the songs, it sounds awesome!
It must have been down for only a few minutes, conveniently when I was trying to get on. Works now.. Thanks! :D
Seriously dude, you should get a job in Nintendo.
The New Wave Bossa Nova's part is the best! :D
Hey! This makes me really want to play majora's mask again! awesome stuff, dude!
Good noticing! I recorded the lead and harmony part of Song of Healing backwards and then reversed them. It seemed fitting :)
I love the sound of you Cort, man.
Yes I do, please check out the 'Hymns of Light and Shadows Tab Book' on the 'Tabs' page of my website CSGuitar89. com. It's the very last tab in the file.
New Wave Bossa Nova.... That was epic dude.
damn the rhythem guitar from the songs of time is awesome!
Wow, it took me so long to realize that you put the Song of Time into 4/4. It sounds really good like that.
Hey man, thank you so much! I already put the song titles in the description but now I also added the time codes :)
Crazy breakdowns bro! x3
These songs = EPICNESS
Love the way New Wave Bossa Nova sounds :D

He first played a bass guitar for a school project and thats when he became interested in playing an instrument, later after he had played his friend's electric guitar a few times he decided to buy a guitar, so he played the bass first but he took lessons and owned a guitar before he bought a bass :)
The song that's playing at that time code is the Song of Double time and the one after that would be New Wave Bossa Nova :)
Genius as usual Casper. Enjoy your vacation you earned it :)
You definitely need to do a video for an extended version of that oath to order. Holy crap that part was mad.
OMG!!! tou used the ocarina! FANGASM!!!
this album is amazing
CSGuitar89 Do you plan on making a full length elegy of emptiness?
It was so awesome, I demand more!
If, that's Ok with you, that is.
This is an interesting spin on Zelda, I have to admit... favorited
you just made my day sir
5:05 damnit, first some wind then some rain, now a hurricane. Lightning fills the air, thunder everywhere!!!!!
Only 1 word can describe your songs
AWESOME
I really wish I knew how Casper got his rhythm tones. It sounds amazing and doesn't flood the mix at the same time...
