I watch RUclips videos about Thailand/Philippines from time to time. I am currently here in Thailand with 3 months stay. I have a number of years traveling and living aboard. What stands out to me is most Expats I've meet or typically not high grade men from the start. That energy has become well know my locals and Expats alike. You can only imagine how the stories normally end up. If RUclipsrs are having to teach men how to live aboard that suggest they maybe unprepared for living outside there comfort zone so quickly. Knowledge is power and living outside your knowledge level leaves you exposed to people who have information you have not learned. You will more than not be taken advantage of. By 1 or the other and because your pocket is not empty yet. You attract these people. Be very selective, be smart and don't be so needle. Take care!!

The even sadder side to the story is Most Thai you run into are extremely poor w/o any money management skills. Once the money comes into their hands that are ignorant about how to leverage. Most will over indulge in alcohol, cigarettes or other vices. Very few will start a successful business.

So I think I know my way about now.

Calling out isn’t necessarily their value. I hear from some Thai friends that an American yelling at someone for doing something wrong is seen as low class, that if he has better control of his emotions he’d walk away. In the U.S. we aren’t like that, we sometimes confront people who are doing the RIGHT thing. (Just look at these airplane videos of Karen’s losing it)
