what suraj said about oikawa is practically what its like with the rest of the teams. there is no real villian. they're just kids playing vollyball and doing their best. thats the essence of haikyuu, you can never hate the other team.
Exactly right. Idk if it’s just me but I found it hard to not cheer for the other teams atleast a little bit during matches 💀.

I mean... except the one team that is an obvious villain team. The one that doesn't play as a team in the first place, and is super disrespectful to literally everyone, including their teammates. That one. Spoilers, I guess.
I miss noya and asahi. And literally every character they havent ment yet 😭
I gotta disagree with Mickey, a lot more happened in this episode than people realize. To say they won and then talked diminishes what happened. You get the arrival of Oikawa, you get why he didn't show up earlier, you get how observant he is and how much of a threat he is (this amounts to the setup of future conflict), you get a reflection on the current limitations of the team, you get that they need a coach and why Kageyama came to Karasuno, and you get the introduction of the mystery for next episode. There is a lot that is set up through this episode, and just because the setups are not revealed in the same episode does not mean that the episode had little that happened.
They find Re:Zero episode 18 boring/annoying coz Rem and Subaru took an entire episode in the same place with their confessions.
The Normies indeed. Only "action" sequences matter to them.

Friendly volleyball player here, answering the Normies question: Most of the times it doesn't really hurt to receive a strong spike since the ball is pretty light weight, but if you take a hit to somewhere more sensible than normal (like your face or your genitals) it will surely hurt lol.
Learned that lesson ALL too well in soccer!!! XD
It usually hurts more when you first start out on volleyball because you're skin hasn't gotten accustomed to the volleyball

Fun Fact: Aoba Johsai translates to “West of Aoba Castle.” So Oikawa’s Great King moniker is actually fitting. He’s the King of the Castle and the rest of his team are his knights.
To me it seemed like kindachi didn't want an apology so he could hold on to his views that justified kicking tobio off the team.

I think the big deal of Kindachi not wanting an apology is that he has known Tobio to be a complete and massive asshole, which is why he didn't get into Aoba Joshi either, cause the other players from his old team normally go there, but he did get accepted because they wouldn't play with him.
But he realized during the game and even after, that Kageyama is different now. He told him when "we" battle again that they will beat him. He was talking about his team and not just himself, as he use to always do

I guess you didn’t get to hear his voice, but the Libero you see in the end, is voiced by the same actor who voices Bakugo in BNHA in Japanese. Also Tsukki’s VA also does Shigaraki in the sub.

I’m so glad y’all realized Hinata had his eyes open on that last hit. He “should” have had his eyes closed like normal, but something was different for Hinata in that last one that allowed him to slam it down with his eyes open seeing Oikawa. Most reactors miss that important detail!

@@hardy1862 Tal vez su fuese 2019, cuando solian dar doble o triple capitulos (dependiendo el show) cada fin de mes. El COVID los atraso chingos y al estar separados apenas les alcanza para el capitulo por semana.

Haikyuu es un anime un poco más lento comparado a los animes que ellos están acostumbrados a ver, por eso a todos no les puede encantar cuando empiezan.
