    I love mine. I did sand it because it was so rough and then seasoned it. It works great.

      THe griddle is a large. this is a small. The skillets are literally abrasive. Non stick spatulas are all roughed up by it!

    its nice that it has a drip tray. you can do a lot of cooking on it before having to scrub it. You should consider just fixing the original fuel tank for that stove. It is easy and cheap to do. Likely you just need to replace the gasket in the fuel cap and oil the pump.

    These griddles also work well in the oven for frozen pizza. Really makes the crust crispy. Funny what you'll try with less expensive equipment.

    I grew up with Mom cooking on cast iron. The skillet I use now was handed down to me and is older than I am. BTW, I'm turning 59 in a few month. Cast iron is the best, bar none. People today trade easy use disposable crap for a real cooking tool.

    • @nimrod275

      The older cast iron is the best. Newer cast iron has a texture to it.

      413G & 413H & a 3 burner too!
      Been watching Coleman stove videos just to learn how to take care of them... fix them... test and/or replace parts... etc.
      Hopefully I can get them all running in peak condition!

    Great stove. Mine is the unmodified gas version, and I love it. Great for camping, and I figure if times get hard, gasoline will be easier to get than propane. The only drawback is that only a crazy person would use one indoors (my apologies for impugning anyone who has tried).

    • @dancewitme211
      @dancewitme211 3 года назад

      Huh? I bought a camp stove today in preparation for hurricane weather over here in the south. I didnt know you shouldn't use them indoors. Smh. I remember my mother used to cook on one in house, when I was little, back in 1950s.

    • @roberthutchins1507
      @roberthutchins1507 3 года назад

      @@dancewitme211 Every time I light my stove when cold, I get a 6 to 12 inch flame from the burner until the gas generator gets hot enough to atomize the fuel. About 2 to 3 minutes. I would never risk my house to that.
