    you dont want to glue to the hinges, with everything assembled. you want to attach the hinges to glass first, let them dry, then slide the hinges back into place. there is a C ring clip, on each side. That is why it seemed so weird, having to put weight on it, and clamp, etc. with the glue drying while trying to hold the lift gate up in the air

    The reason why you don't have any hardware on your glass is right on the sticker of your glass. The "N" in DB11173YPN means that No hardware is included. If you had selected the DB11173YPY part, than you wouldn't have had to go through all that process of transferring the hardware. Just hoping to help out a few people that may be discouraged by the process. I can be much more simple for only a little price difference.

    Good video. Lots of work! Though about doing it until he started chiseling off broken glass! Local glass replacement company half priced Safelite. All the parts were already on the glass. 15 minute hinge pin job. 😳

    Excellent job only video up on RUclips of back window replacement . My Evil through a BRICK 🧱 at my window so I have to replace it safelite auto wants $50 to come out plus $425 so a total of $500 if I did I can get the glass window for $100 and 3m for $35 so $140 vs $500 I’ll save $360

    And you saved more than a couple hundred. btw. Safelite is $640 for this repair. the glass costs 330.
