  • Announced in 2019 the Six Flags Qiddiya project featuring the worlds tallest, fastest, longest coaster Falcons Flight seemed like a far away fantasy. However as it stands in 2023, it seems like this park meant business, and so did Falcons Flight.

      I wouldn’t expect it to be too crazy forceful, especially with that much track length it’ll be nice and drawn out and I’d suspect not pull any more than 4

    How does a 3 mile coaster have just 1 moment of air time?

    • @HangtimeThrills
      @HangtimeThrills  8 месяцев назад

      I think the layout animation is going to be super different than the actual layout that will be built, but only time will tell

      That animation made my first NoLimits 2 coaster look realistic, and it pulled 6.4G. ML Designs created a more realistic layout that is more like what is being built.

    It"s unfortunate that Six Flags and Cedar Fair have merged, because now we'll never see that hoped-for giant 500-600 foot RMC T-Rex at Cedar Point, Magic Mountain, Great Adventure or King's Island, lest it cannibalize this project and the Qididya group rip this park away from New Six Flags wit a snap of their collective fingers.

    • @VestedUTuber
      @VestedUTuber 8 месяцев назад

      Eh, RMC only proposed that as an example of what the T-Rex can do to begin with, it was never actually planned. Honestly, these days there's really no point in building massive coasters like that when you can pack better pacing and forces in a much smaller ride. If the 600-foot T-Rex was actually going to happen we would have seen it by now.

      They wouldn’t be constructing this if it was impossible. Intamin loves a challenge

    • @VestedUTuber
      @VestedUTuber 8 месяцев назад

      It's a matter of forces, not speed. You might have noticed that this coaster features very wide, sweeping turns and shallow hills that, on a normal sized coaster, would be completely forceless.
      It's the same reason why rides like White Lightning and Oscar's Wacky Taxi can pack airtime despite being smaller and slower - they have sharper elements so that they exhibit the same amount of force on the riders despite the lower speeds.

  • @JoshNunnyt

    I can't be the only one that thinks it doesn't really count if that "height" reached is only through the terrarin.

    • @HangtimeThrills
      @HangtimeThrills  8 месяцев назад

    • @fadbob_
      @fadbob_ 8 месяцев назад

      the massive camelback after the drop off the cliff is where it hits record height. The airtime hill is built on flat land.

    • @caydenwaltersmusic
      @caydenwaltersmusic 8 месяцев назад

      There’s going to be a 500ft+ camelback after that 600ft drop so it’ll still have a freestanding structure over 500ft.

  • @jonny-b4954
    @jonny-b4954 8 месяцев назад

    So...... it's not even close to the tallest coaster? Doesn't look like it. Doesn't count really if it's going up terrain. It can have the tallest drop but doesn't make it the tallest coaster.

    • @Goliath146
      @Goliath146 8 месяцев назад

      Here’s the thing the coaster isn’t actually going through the terrain as the ride is just going up the mountain just because it’s going up a mountain doesn’t make it a terrain coaster

      the one camel back hill after the drop is gonna be taller then even kingda ka they said. and that camel back won't use terrain, just supports.
