My biggest concern is how the trains deal with the excessive speeds combined with extreme heat.

Look at tom scotts video, they explain how the carts are built with some wiggle room for if the track expands in heat.

EltoroRyan brought up such a good point that I can't get out of my head. If those LSM's "fail" prior to the 500+ ft airtime hill, it will obviously be safe (just a roll back)...but then the train is going to valley there. They have to have thought of this though so who knows🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I agree with this but I live in Dubai and can confirm that there are intense crowds around the fountains and burj khalifa viewing point area, like concert croud levels. Not to mention the observation point at the top having the same issue of overcrowding. Concerning residences, every residential floor is occupied, and every hotel room floor charges insane prices and still recieves major demand.

The extreme heat, blowing dust and sand and how will that affect performance and reliability. Those huge wheels better dissipate a TON of heat with the hot track and high speeds.

Now, if they run one train, wait times will be measured in moon cycles instead of hours.

The location is a bit of an issue I concur. To add to that, nothing in me would go out of my way (planning a trip) to ride this thing when it opens lol, if a reasonable opportunity came up then I’d probably consider. But it’s in such an unfortunate location it makes it difficult, and you’re not wrong about one train moon cycles… 😬💀
