lol I'm watching it for the 3rd or 4th time as well today.. it's so cute simple and easy but unfortunately I still can't try this as I don't have any re-inkers or inks (only their ink pads). I have distress stain bottles but not sure if they would look like this or not.
@@applefulify I made some with watercolors. Just cheap Crayola watercolors. It worked fine! Less saturated colors but that is ok. Just a different look. Give it a try!
Thanks so much for such a creative technique! I loved your tutorial also because after watching you use several ways of moving the hot glue, I realize I can do this too. It's like there are no mistakes, just happy applications of glue.
You can use a paper towel to absorb ink in spots where it may puddle too much. yOu can also use sea salt to create lighter spots in the ink. The salt absorbs the ink to create a cool effect.
I love this technique. Thanks for sharing it so thoroughly. I wonder if in addition to using the ice cube to flatten the hot glue, one could use a silicone spatula or mold. You've given me stuff to think about!
I don't know that this is a technique I would ever attempt because I try to stay from hot glue if I can...lol (I get it EVERYWHERE!!) However, I appreciate how unique it is and do like your cards. Thanks for sharing! =)
+Jennifer Renault Not every ruler is marked in 16ths of an inch... if yours is only marked in eighth-inch marks, 15/16" is half way between the inch mark and the last one before it. Here's a visual of what I mean. mathwithlarry.com/lessons/ruler.gif I truly hope that helps!
Connie, your artwork panels are absolutely stunning. This looks like so much fun and I can't wait to try it! TFS
I've come back and watched this tutorial 3 times over like 3 years. Lol. I think I'm finally ready to try it.

This technique is very beautiful ! ! ! ! May I make a suggestion,I would use colored glue sticks instead of the heat emboss part. Josie G.-P.
That would save time and be a neat effect too! Great suggestion.

It would be nice to see the inks being put into the pallet instead of just the white paper lying there. Just saying.
