A lot of these homes were built decades ago when we weren't dealing with all this severe weather, and also had less restrictive building codes. Brick might be better in other states, but brick can also be dangerous in an earthquake which CA is prone to. Going forward I'm sure they will be looking at using different building materials. They really have no choice because this could happen again.
Big hugs to the two families. Not sure about Liverpool but ... only joking I hope everyone helps eachother, theres enough money in LA to rebuild, is the will there to help those who need it most? Im not sure. Big hugs.
That’s area is where they felt at home so it’s very understandable why they would want to live back there again instead of relocating. If I’m honset I’m not sure what I would even do in that situation 😢
Not just your home got destroyed, many more have been destroyed as well including celebrities. You are selfish people coming on here trying to get attention
I just can´t imagine losing everything like this
You’d think if a city is prone to fires they make houses from brick, The only things remaining are the brick chimneys.
They have earthquakes too.

Houses would be destroyed from an earthquake as well if made out of brick.
if it's so easily destroyed through huge fires and earthquakes they shouldn't build houses there! America is big enough, home people somewhere safer.
The father with his two girls were very lovely and sweet.
Insurance will cost more than their houses now , even if they can get insurance
why would anyone want to live there again if there is a chance it could happen again .?
Sad
They had a LA lake decades ago ,but drained it to allow more building . Now facing the consequences unfortunately

I wouldn't want to rebuild in that area. Kudos for them to want to go back though.

exactly, so many more beautiful places.
I just can't imagine that I'd be able to or want to carry on after something like that. It should be renamed Los Diablos.
Jeff is a really nice guy. Sry for this happens to him.
And one of the ads that I get before this video is one about holiday homes.
Go Liverpool
Makes me think about the people of Gaza.
It’s their karma the devil is there
The smelt fish survived
All these rich people will be just fine. My sympathy goes to the people in Gaza.
I’m so proud of Meghan and Harry for helping the loving people of California ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wish someone could ask the children of Gaza what they took before they were made homeless🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
