Emmy! I am so happy you made this video at Trader Joe’s! Out of fear of what everyone says about the prices, plus it’s not very convenient being about a 30 minute drive. If I might be able to make a day of it….hubby willing! I’m pretty sure though that my pasta loving hubby would be very interested in the imported pasta and all the cheeses. I honestly can’t remember the last time I saw even our American pasta on sale in any of our supermarkets, so that $.99 cents price was the first thing to get me excited because we have 2 pounds of it every Sunday! Thank you Emmy and Paul! You work so hard for us, and even though I don’t always reply to every video, I promise you that I enjoy watching, and because you have a thoughtful “way” with explaining things, I almost always learn something too! PS-Emmy….I am originally from Brooklyn, and now in Fl. If I lived closer (I wish 😢), as a BIG thank you I would make for you and Paul a pan of the best lasagna and all the trimmings! It’s something I will usually do for new moms, to welcome a new neighbor or as a thank you to someone who has gone out of their way for us! It would make me so happy to do that for you guys! CIAO 🙋🏻♀️ and next time I am serving wine, I will raise a glass to you!!> CIN CIN 🍷🍷
I do not have a Trader Joe's near me. After Monday I won't have much of anything near me but a Dollar General as I am moving to the mountains here in NH to care for elderly parents. Shopping will most certainly be intentional, glad I made an effort to have a years worth of food on hand.
Love Trader Joes! They are one of the only grocery store chains that give their items that are going out of date whether we produce meat or dairy to the community. We have been blessed to have been part of that for 15 years and I’ve been able to bless other single parent families out of work families and underemployed families! I’m so glad you have one near you!
I love Tradie Joe's!! Especially their frozen and prepared foods. It's so easy when I want to avoid doing scratch cooking or paying for expensive takeout. Their selection of ethnic food is amazing.
We don't have a Trader Joes near us, the closest one is almost 3 hours away. Loved seeing all the cards for your aunt. She is going to be reading them all for the longest time. Thank you for letting us share in her special day.
My nearest Trader Joe’s is an hour away. When I go, I always buy several bags of the orange chicken because it is so good and makes for a very easy dinner. At 4.99 a bag, I feel that it a wonderful “fast food” for a very reasonable price. I put it in my air fryer and put on a pot of rice and steam some broccoli. When my rice is done, so is everything else for a quick delicious dinner.
Awwwwwwww! So glad at the outpouring of cards, but not surprised. You have the best channel and viewers! Our nearest Trader Joe’s is about an hour away. Maybe someday……… Love your vintage tablecloths! Blessings on your weekend!
One of the reason people like Trader Joe's is they try to have old fashion clean foods. Example they don't want artificial ingredients and preservatives. Also they stock with seasonal items that makes it an exciting anticipation of what new things or old favorites will be available as the seasons change. The Christmas holiday has a lot of excellent food gifts. They have a lot of specialty fruit juice blends. Also TJ wants quality first not a cheap price. Their spice blends are an excellent price. When available their basil cheese wedge is excellent for a cheese and cracker snacking meal. They also have excellent flavored social crackers that none of the regular grocery stores carry.
There is only one Trader Joe's in our area. It's about 20 minutes away. I love to shop for their seasonal items, especially the fall items. I also love their frozen food section. I don't get out there often, only if I have an appt. out that way, I'll stop by. I also love how the employees are super friendly and the bells they have you can ring at the cash registers haha. Have you ever rung the bell?
I live 3 blocks from a Trader Joe's and I agree with everything you said about them. I always get my nuts there - I put raw almonds and raw walnuts on my oatmeal and the quality and price of nuts at TJ's can't be beat. I also enjoy their frozen gyoza and dumplings; they're so easy to prepare by just frying for a bit then adding some water to steam them, they're quick and delicious. You sparked my interest in their tuna - I'll check that out next time I go. Thanks for your videos! I always enjoy you and Paul and Dixie! Best wishes to your Aunt too! Making it to 100 is amazing!
To my knowledge we don't have only 3 major stores in Maine Hannafords , IGA, SHAWS, but we have a lot of them. We do not have others if we do they are not a chaine store. Oh yes, Wal Mart, and Target very expensive unless they are getting rid of something. I am going to try your tuna salad. Love your ideas. I think I got all caught up on your videos. Sometimes I re-watch your old videos. YOUR THE BEST BY FAR.
There is no trader Joe's here, the packaging looks amazing! The lindt chocolate 70 or even better 80 % is by far the best quality and tasty chocolate I know. the one with orange or seasalt in it is great too. One bar for hubby and one for me is a month worth of goodie stash to us🤫😉. Congratulations on your aunts birthday🎈🎂 hope you have a good "party" . You might want to congratulate her from me. 💐.
Our TJ's used to have coffee available for shoppers. Yum for stopping in there on a rainy day. A great place for trying prepared foods for the smaller household. I like the grilled lemon chicken.
We don’t even have an Aldi nearby. Nearest one is 15 miles away. Will never ever get a Trader Joe’s near us. Too many people with low incomes. We are lucky to have a Save A Lot.
I LOVE TRADER JOE'S!!! ❤ ❤ ❤ There's one about 20-25 minutes from me, but traffic makes it hard. With 1 PCP I had, Trader Joe's was on the way to his office, so I stopped at Trader Joe's every time I went to the doctor. Now, with a new PCP, I never get out that way any more. But I still really LOVE TRADER JOE'S!!! ❤ ❤ ❤ And, I love almost all their products!
The closest Trader Joe’s to us is 40 minutes away. We make the trip once a month and stock up on our favorite items. I spend the month before detailing my list so when I go I’m only shopping for what I know I already want and need.
We love to shop at Trader Joe's during the onset of Autumn. There are displays of Pumpkin and warm scented flavored items such as coffee, breads and body products.
I wish we had a Trader Joes in our area. We did just get an Aldi a few years ago. I make tuna pasta salad all the time. It really stretches a can of tuna. Blessings
I do not have a Trader Joe’s near me I live in New Jersey and basically stop at Walmart and Aldi I am a big fan of pasta salad they make a great side dish for any meal I really enjoy your videos and have been going back and watching them on not only do I find them informative but I buying them entertaining I love going for steps in and give his review😊
just got a Trader Joe's one year ago - use to have to travel 90+mins to one prior....just a bunch of odds and ends things is what I like getting there...
I've never been to a Trader Joes, however we live in Rural America. We do have a grocery store called Jungle Jims in the in the Cincinnati area. It's a remarkable place which has literally everything from all over the world. Look them up online. It's like a grocery Disneyland.
No TJ's near me at the Jersey Shore. When I lived in FL, we would travel to Sarasota and then one opened in Tampa and finally in St.Pete. I always made a TJ run. I loved there chuck a buck wine for under $3 a bottle. And always hit the cheese section. You are right, you can spend a buck at Trader Joe's. I miss it.
I love Trader Joe's! I could walk there from work when I lived in L.A., then visited when I went to see Dad in CT. Now I have one less than 15 minutes from work and home. Too many things to mention but the cheese selection elevates any dish, pasta, almond milk, coconut palm sugar, balsamic vinegar & balsamic glaze, olive oil and of course chocolate! The mini size chocolates for Halloween that are out now are a nice small treat.
My favs at TJ’s: glass bottle of pink chili sauce… has a bit of a kick and is sooo good for dipping pot stickers or chicken strips; of course; we love the $4.99 Orange Chicken (I tend to make more sauce using a half a jar of orange marmalade and soy sauce.); the dark chocolate covered caramels don’t last long here; yummy tri-colored carrots; the organic half and half is also a fav; yes to the cheap pasta!; they have a great assortment of inexpensive organic wines and we load up; the big bag of potato chips are so yummy as they are thick-cut; fig butter (shelf stable…small jar….so good like the center of a fig newton!); and lots and lots and lots more. Now I want to go to TJs today! 😂 It’s a bit like Costco in that you need a bank loan before you go. 😂
We are 4 hours from a Trader Joe's and an Aldi and Costco. I have never been to any of them. Trader Joe's is on the list to try when we are in the area.
Trader Joe’s is great for a lot of specialty products and some other things. Personally, I don’t buy their milk or cream as I find it goes bad quickly and I don’t find their fresh produce to be very good. I also don’t buy the fresh prepared foods (sandwiches, salads) as they are trucked from far away and usually aren’t super fresh. But I LOVE their cheeses, their dried fruits and nuts, their breads, their frozen foods, the baking goods/spices, coffee, chocolates, desserts, etc. And yes their flowers are fantastic and they last! The mandarin orange chicken is awesome. When I want a Chinese food meal, I usually get that, their frozen fried rice, dumplings or spring rolls or pork buns and I can make my own “Chinese takeout” for a fraction of what you pay at a Chinese restaurant. It’s amazing! I have a Trader Joe’s down the street from me and I get certain things there vs at Market Basket. Like you say, if you know your prices, you can find some very frugal items there and some great, unique products. Oh and their oatmeal honey bar soap is the only soap I use because I have allergies. It’s wicked cheap too..like $1.79 for 2 bars or something like that.
Love Trader Joes! The flowers, herbs and plants are so reasonably priced and healthy! Yes, you are correct you can find fun unique items to put together a basket or bagful gifts. As we get older, consumable gifts are the best to receive and give since most of us have everything we need and don't need more clutter.. You were spot on with your comment that their packaging is beautiful! I wasn't a Trader Joe shopper till recently because there wasn't one close but our kids shop there and now we too are about 15 minutes away from one! 😀 Enjoy your Aunt's celebration! Your subscriber family all adore you! 💕
I have 3 TJs 20 min away, it’s my go to store. List of favorite is endless: bananas, broccolini, sour dough bread, Rosemary sliced ham, small feta cheese block to make the famous cherry tomato pasta, pot stickers, organic romaine hearts, 21 salute spice sprinkle on their bbq cut salmon, organic drumsticks, organic zucchini, orange chicken, baby back rib slaps, package of chestnut from France seasonal in November (shell removed), also in November their frozen butternut squash cheese macaroni (grab and load this up, it’s gone in no time). Sorry for the long list.
I think Traders has really good foods at a reasonable price. I love that they are once again, cooking in the store. Get a little sample and if you like it, you can buy the fixings. Love it❤️ I still have 2 pounds of their fall coffee, Autumn Maple coffee. I bought five pounds for my pantry, also8 cans of their Salted Caramel hot chocolate. Enough for a year.
Hi, there. Enjoying your videos. Husband & I are from S. Jersey all our lives & moving to SC. soon. So looking forward to setting up ,etc. Thank you for your tips, ideas etc. Keep up with what your doing.! Yes, we do need to chill & enjoy God’s blessings! You & husband are a blessing to people! Looking forward to more videos .Take care🌷
Trader Joe is my go to grocery. I buy their frozen dinners. They sell very good Indian frozen dinner, quantity for one person, but I can expand the dish by adding more meat, potatoes, plain yogurt and whipped cream or even coconut milk. I do this with all with their Indian or Thai frozen dinners. It’ll feed 3-4
I have a Trader Joe's near me and I haven't been there yet. It's been there for a few years. Now that I am more mobile I have to remember to go check it out!
I've been in Trader Joe's once. The two in town are across town. I like to shop close to home. I did like Trader Joe's lots of different foods and fun to walk around. I did not buy anything when I went. Just checked the store out.
I have one near me but it’s not my main store. I treat it like I treat Costco and go there every few months to find different products. We love the orange chicken because it’s a quick cheaper meal that I can make for my husband and I with some rice on the side during the week. I also love buying my family members the seasonal treats for the holidays.
There is a Trader Joe’s across the street from the hospital where I work. I always want to go but it’s so crowded that I haven’t bought anything. I think I’m going now 😊
Trader Joe’s is an hour away from us. We are going Monday when we go in the area to get our oil changed. I live the vegetable fried rice. Just add some chicken and it is delicious. Very reasonably priced
I love Trader Joe's too. Mine is 10 minutes away too! Cheeses, chocolates, snacks, desserts, frozen fruit and veggies. The staff is beyond great. Best flowers and plants. Greeting cards are $1. Most important is the food is real, not fake chemistry projects.
Have had orange chicken and other prepared foods -all good! We only shop there occasionally because of distance. 10 minutes outside my front door would be too tempting!!
TJs GF pasta is the best! Their cheeses are less expensive than any other store in town. I buy: Their olive oil, Joe's Os, Milk, eggs, their cottage cheese is delicious, earl grey tea, Dark chocolate coveted almonds, Their brand almond milk, their scones are delicious, great coffee, their brand cheese curls, sesame sticks, roasted almonds with50% less salt, wine, fruit juices, chicken sausage, and on and on. Love it. The frozen orange chicken is fantastic but for 3 adults, I have to buy 2 bags.
Your tuna pasta salad looks yummy! Finely diced sharp cheese would be a good sub for the tuna if that’s all you had, especially with the olives. We make a macaroni salad using mayo, sour cream, and sweet relish so I know how good that combo is 😊 Thank you for sharing the birthday cards for your dear aunt. You are so sweet to arrange a card shower for her!
Napa, California here! My TJ's is just across the highway in a shopping center with Whole Foods. I love the unique variety, ready to eat items as well as staples. Wait until you see the store in October! Pumpkin everything! December is fun too! I have to get my German Stollen!
Wow! I wonder if there is a Trader Joe's around my neck of the woods. Probably best for me if there isn't one from the looks of those GOODS! I love tuna/macaroni salad. Now I want to make some!
We live almost an hour away from TJs, but are within 15 minutes from it on a regular basis. Every few months we go and get their organic chicken, beef & vegetable broth (usually 10 or so at a time).
For me they have the best prices for soy milk that's just soybeans and water. Their frozen vegetables are the best quality and a great price. They also have the best seasonal items in the Fall and for Christmas for treats and making gift baskets.
I have a TJ about 10 minutes away too. I go there only occasionally. I find too many treats end up in my basket if I go too often. But I do really like Trader Joe’s.
I too love Trader Joe’s. We are not close to one anymore although we used to live about 15 minutes away from a Trader Joe’s. I started shopping at Trader Joe’s years ago when we were trying to get all of the artificial ingredients out of our food because of my youngest child’s ADHD. As far as shopping for whole foods with real ingredients, Trader Joe’s really can’t be beat. I wish I still lived close to one! But I don’t know if we are in the right demographic area. They have a really good miso ginger broth and their frozen wontons cannot be beat. Not their cheapest items, but reasonable and worth it.
I love Trader Joe's! Their chili lime cashews are fantastic. I've bought their orange chicken many, many times - we love it. Also, their chicken potstickers are the best of any we've ever tried. If you get a chance to have some of their Indian foods, definitely do. I particularly like their chicken tikka masala. And don't forget the garlic naan. The TJ's by me sells out QUICKLY of all their Indian foods, so when they have it I stock up. They have frozen uncooked croissants - both with dark chocolate filling and also almond filling. I love how they're so tiny when I take them out and put them on the baking sheet to proof overnight, and in the morning they are big and fluffy. Their Greek yogurt is as good as the Fage brand for a much lower cost. And don't get me started on their cheese selections. Yum! We're already looking forward to the kringles that will be back soon. I'm so happy there's a TJ's only a mile from me.
TJ's is the closest grocery store to my home. My uncle owned a corner grocery store in PA. I loved hanging out there with my aunt every summer. I had not thought about the similarity, but that might indeed be part of TJ's charm. In the summer, they have the best tomatoes around---they taste like they are fresh picked. Try finding that at Kroger. One of the things I love is their produce department. Such beautiful veggies, so beautifully displayed. And, I am extremely happy with their "prepared" items--they do not contain ingredients I cannot pronounce so I feel as though they are much healthier. If they are giving out samples, I admit I am prone to buying whatever product they are showing. Those samples are always so delicious I can't just walk away. All in all, TJ's is a great store with a lot of good food, clean surroundings, and employees who actually seem to care about the customer's shopping experience.
we do not live close to one about 1 hour away but it like a trip out for us when we go I a mitt I do probably spend more than I should but we do not eat out for dinners and very do lunch out so if i do go there and buy things it just a treat and a outing for us old retired coup0le in theiur late 70's.
This is such a great video! We have a Trader Joe's too, also ten minutes away, but I've only been there once, when they first opened, and I loved their gluten free bread. After seeing your video though, I think I need to go back! Thanks for sharing.
I'm in Canada and according to a quick internet search we don't have Trader Joe's. Or Aldi for that matter. Frowny face on both counts! BTW love your table cloth (seen during the TJ grocery haul)
I wish I had a trader Joe near me you are so lucky. The only time I get to go to trader Joe is when I visit my kids in Nashville and I go crazy it’s my too gotta go to store
No Trader Joe's in Montana so I guess we don't meet their criteria. We also don't have Aldi which is a shame. Guess we are too far out in the wilderness. Loved your salad idea. Will be making some tomorrow.
Their pumpkin pie spice is amazing!! They have the most fun items!! Do you see the list they have every year of the top sellers? The frozen Orange Chicken is number one every year. And the peppermint JoeJoe cookies sell out every year before I get some!! And the frozen fried rice is the best ever. And the Everything But the Bagel crackers.....yummy!! That tablecloth, Emmy!! I love the vintage cloths, too. Thank you for showing the cards! May she have a blessed birthday.
I've never been to TJ's and we don't have one near us. There are several in our state way north of us, but none in southern Maryland. 😒 I make a tuna pasta salad that I think I might make next week. Thanks for the idea!
Auntie Emmy and Uncle Paul - I love Trader Joe’s and its about a 30 minute drive so i only go every two months or so. I love their pasta - best price for the quality. I also love their mandarin chicken sand the frozen gyoza dumplings and spring rolls. i believe its cheaper to purchase these than get take out Chinese - and they taste better than any of my local Asian food places. The cookies - especially the triple ginger snaps - are terrific. A few things to avoid - the prepared sauces aren’t that great and are full of salt and sugar. I would rather make my own. I also think its cheaper to get things like soy sauce and other ethnic ingredients at my Asian grocery store or even Amazon. The final best thing about TJs - they will open any item for you to try. Their customer service is fantastic.
I wish we had a Trader Joe's. Living in a rural Midwest area, we only get to visit a Trader Joe's if we are traveling. We enjoy them when we get the chance. The closest one is about two hours away. Great haul!
I have a Trader Joe’s right near me. They have wonderful staff. They used to give out coffee and samples all the time. They stopped that when Covid hit.
I try to stay away from ours as much as possible because I become a 9 year old with a 100 dollar bill when I get near the candy section!! They are awesome though, they donate a lot of food to local food banks.
There is a Trader Joe's in my city but I don't shop there because it is not close to my home and also being disabled I don't drive so it isn't somewhere that I could get to and since they don't offer delivery it wouldn't be a real option for me unless I happen to be in the area for another reason. I have mentioned possibly wanting to go there and my dear friend and next door neighbor who often takes me out to doctor's appointments has said she'd be more than happy to take me there. It is about I would say seven or eight miles from my home so again a bit out of the way but it is actually right along the same main street that I go to to visit my dentist so perhaps the next time I'm out to the dentist we can shop there on the way back. I have heard great things about many of their items and also that you have to be careful on pricing of things. It looks like you did a great job at picking out items that you needed and that were a good value. I hope the Italian pasta is delicious and you really enjoy it and are able to stock up on it as 99 cents is a great price and it is a good substitute for you to Colavita. We don't even have Colavita in my area; you have to order it online so I haven't had a chance to try that brand. Thanks for another great insightful video and Emmy and Paul and hello to Dixie Belle from Gigi and Henry! That tuna pasta salad looked delicious and the fact that you are preparing it in that large yellow Pyrex bowl brings back many memories as my parents had that mixing bowl set and I still have the yellow one down in my basement. I wish your aunt a glorious and wonderful 100th birthday celebration! I'm sure she will read and reread those birthday cards for many months to come and will keep her busy and hopefully a big smile on her face knowing how much she is appreciated by her dear niece and all of her niece's followers. Enjoy your celebration and have a wonderful weekend!
We love our Trader Joe’s!
So good!

A years worth...that is so amazing!!
Traders is my 100.00 store. I also buy for my daughter who lives on her own❤️
It's all about the brand and the experience.
Sadly we dont have Trader Joes in our nation. Nice to see another frugalistic video. Take care and see you Tuesday, stay safe and blessed....
Thanks Hilda! You as well!

Oh my gosh I love to hear that! Thank you for sharing that!
I didn't know that! Now I love Trader Joe's even more!
Trader Joe’s donates to our Mobile Food Pantry which has been a lifesaver for many!
A spoonful of Dijon is lovely in mashed pot 😋
I love Tradie Joe's!! Especially their frozen and prepared foods. It's so easy when I want to avoid doing scratch cooking or paying for expensive takeout. Their selection of ethnic food is amazing.
Yes, TJ's is one of our faves too!
We don't have a Trader Joes near us, the closest one is almost 3 hours away. Loved seeing all the cards for your aunt. She is going to be reading them all for the longest time. Thank you for letting us share in her special day.
Thanks for watching and sharing !
That tuna pasta salad would probably be even better with some shredded cheese.
Oh yes Becky!!
Did you notice the Trader Joe's packaging art compliments your1950's linens.
Yes!🤣 I think that’s why I love it so much!
There wine store is the best. Amazing selection at the cheapest prices of anywhere I have been
My nearest Trader Joe’s is an hour away. When I go, I always buy several bags of the orange chicken because it is so good and makes for a very easy dinner. I’m going to have to try that chicken! You’re right for 4.99 it would replace an expensive take-out meal!
Awwwwwwww! So glad at the outpouring of cards, but not surprised. You have the best channel and viewers!
Our nearest Trader Joe’s is about an hour away. Maybe someday………
Love your vintage tablecloths!
Blessings on your weekend!
Mary I agree 100%! Our viewers are the best!
Don’t forget the cute funny flyers

You can get Pink H Salt at the dollar store if your near one. Same amount at Walmart only what a savings at dollar store!
Great tip! Thanks!

Thank you so much Carolyn!
Wish I had a Trader Joe’s near me. Hope your aunt has a wonderful birthday!!
Thank you so much Becky!

I do not have a Trader Joe’s near me I live in New Jersey and basically stop at Walmart and Aldi
I am a big fan of pasta salad they make a great side dish for any meal
I really enjoy your videos and have been going back and watching them on not only do I find them informative but I buying them entertaining
I love going for steps in and give his review😊
Thanks for sharing!! Appreciate you being here!
I also love their organic liquid stevia
just got a Trader Joe's one year ago - use to have to travel 90+mins to one prior....just a bunch of odds and ends things is what I like getting there...
I've never been to a Trader Joes, however we live in Rural America. We do have a grocery store called Jungle Jims in the in the Cincinnati area. It's a remarkable place which has literally everything from all over the world. Look them up online. It's like a grocery Disneyland.
That sounds so fun lol!
There pineapple salsa is delish ….great video 😊❤️ my favorite kind of salad
Thanks so much!
I miss it.
Yes, you have to really watch it there LOL!
Yes, it'a a quality store!
Thank you so very much for all those yummy suggestions!
We are 4 hours from a Trader Joe's and an Aldi and Costco. I have never been to any of them.
Trader Joe's is on the list to try when we are in the area.
It’s a very fun store!
Great idea about making a buffet from their Chinese frozen section!
We have a Trader Joe's nearby. Love their almond butter, marinara, ground turkey, and many other items. I'm glad you now have a Trader Joe's close by
Thanks so much for sharing!
Enjoy your Aunt's celebration!
Your subscriber family all adore you! 💕
You are so kind Sheryl! Thank you!
Thank you so very much for that list of yummy suggestions!
I think Traders has really good foods at a reasonable price. I love that they are once again, cooking in the store. Get a little sample and if you like it, you can buy the fixings. Love it❤️
I still have 2 pounds of their fall coffee,
Autumn Maple coffee. I bought five pounds for my pantry, also8 cans of their Salted Caramel hot chocolate. Enough for a year.
Oh that sounds like a yummy coffee! Thanks for watching and sharing Dana!

We have a small vacation house in North Myrtle Beach Barbara!! Love SC!
That’s so wonderful! We are a retired couple looking forward to Conway near Myrtle Beach. Keep up what your doing !🌷I’ll be watching … 😊
Hope you got the notice , that I did subscribe.😊
Trader Joe is my go to grocery. I buy their frozen dinners. They sell very good Indian frozen dinner, quantity for one person, but I can expand the dish by adding more meat, potatoes, plain yogurt and whipped cream or even coconut milk. I do this with all with their Indian or Thai frozen dinners. It’ll feed 3-4
That’s great Vicky!
I have a Trader Joe's near me and I haven't been there yet. It's been there for a few years. Now that I am more mobile I have to remember to go check it out!
It’s a really nice store!
Trader Joe’s is about 40 minutes away! I only go about once or twice a year! Love the store
So fun!
I have to travel to my closest Trader Joe’s. I love their carrot juice!
Such a fun store!
What a great idea! Had Aldi’s stolen about to expired, & just made your biscotti from the stollen . Yummy, yummy, thank you !🌷Easy!
Hope you enjoy!
we, in Portugal, don't have a trader joe's, but we have aldi and sometimes they have seasonal products with the trader joe's brand.
Oh that's fun!
I've been in Trader Joe's once. The two in town are across town. I like to shop close to home. I did like Trader Joe's lots of different foods and fun to walk around. I did not buy anything when I went. Just checked the store out.
Thanks for sharing!!
I have one near me but it’s not my main store. I treat it like I treat Costco and go there every few months to find different products. We love the orange chicken because it’s a quick cheaper meal that I can make for my husband and I with some rice on the side during the week. I also love buying my family members the seasonal treats for the holidays.
Yes! I hear they’re seasonal foods are wonderful!
There is a Trader Joe’s across the street from the hospital where I work. I always want to go but it’s so crowded that I haven’t bought anything. I think I’m going now 😊
LOL! Yes, they do a great business!
Trader Joe’s is an hour away from us. We are going Monday when we go in the area to get our oil changed. I live the vegetable fried rice. Just add some chicken and it is delicious. Very reasonably priced
That's good to know!
I do shop TJ'S occasionally...mainly Christmas and Easter.
My favorite item that I always get is the triple ginger snaps❤️
Oh Yum!
Yes really yummy food!
Have had orange chicken and other prepared foods -all good! We only shop there occasionally because of distance. 10 minutes outside my front door would be too tempting!!
Yes, we do love some of their products!
I’ve never been in a traders Joe’s they’re all so far away. I think I was in a Whole Foods once in Nashville when I visited my niece.
Thanks so much for sharing!
Yes, so many great products!
Sorry I missed this we were away looks like she had a beautiful birthday
Yes! It was lovely!
Your tuna pasta salad looks yummy! Finely diced sharp cheese would be a good sub for the tuna if that’s all you had, especially with the olives. We make a macaroni salad using mayo, sour cream, and sweet relish so I know how good that combo is 😊
Thank you for sharing the birthday cards for your dear aunt. You are so sweet to arrange a card shower for her!
Thank you so very much for the kind comments!
Napa, California here! My TJ's is just across the highway in a shopping center with Whole Foods. I love the unique variety, ready to eat items as well as staples. Wait until you see the store in October! Pumpkin everything! December is fun too! I have to get my German Stollen!
Yay! So excited for autumn lol
Wow! I wonder if there is a Trader Joe's around my neck of the woods. Probably best for me if there isn't one from the looks of those GOODS! I love tuna/macaroni salad. Now I want to make some!
Hmmm I'm not sure. We used to visit the one in Danbury Ct. I believe you are north of us!
We live almost an hour away from TJs, but are within 15 minutes from it on a regular basis. Every few months we go and get their organic chicken, beef & vegetable broth (usually 10 or so at a time).
Love their items!
I love Trader Joes
We do too!
For me they have the best prices for soy milk that's just soybeans and water. Their frozen vegetables are the best quality and a great price. They also have the best seasonal items in the Fall and for Christmas for treats and making gift baskets.
Yes! I can’t wait to see what they have for the holidays!
Loved the end of the video showing all the cards...I got excited when I saw my card. What a wonderful, loving gesture you are giving your aunt. ❤️
Thank you so much Linda for sending one!
I have a TJ about 10 minutes away too. I go there only occasionally. I find too many treats end up in my basket if I go too often. But I do really like Trader Joe’s.
Yes!! That's why I said we had to shop intentionally LOL!
Thank you so very much for your suggestions!
There is a Trader Joe’s but too far to go to. I love a good tuna pasta salad in the summer. Have a great week.
Thanks you as well!
Part 2.... forgot the hash browns. Again buy enough for 4 months, freeze and repeat 😊
Good to know!
Hey y'all! Hello Miss DixieBelle 🥰😍😘
Hey Mr. Gregory!❤️
Your salad looked yummy.I think I'll have to make a pasta salad tomorrow. I have some ardachokes. Thanks Jody....
It was really good!
Oh some really great suggestions! Thank you so much Sam Sam!
I was always about 45 minutes from a Trader Joe's & shopped there infrequently, now I'm 3 hours from one. 😭 I really miss it!
Oh yeah way too far!
I agree with everything you said! Thank you Marcia!
we do not live close to one about 1 hour away but it like a trip out for us when we go I a mitt I do probably spend more than I should but we do not eat out for dinners and very do lunch out so if i do go there and buy things it just a treat and a outing for us old retired coup0le in theiur late 70's.
Love that! It is such a fun store!
This is such a great video! We have a Trader Joe's too, also ten minutes away, but I've only been there once, when they first opened, and I loved their gluten free bread. After seeing your video though, I think I need to go back! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for watching Ally!
TJ spices are very good and not expensive💐
They had such an assortment!
The Mandarin Orange chicken is actually really good and way less than takeout
Yes! I think we might try it
I love TJ's pasta! Their olive oils are excellent as well. Hmmmm does that sound like aglio e olio for supper?
OH YES!! It was delicious in the pasta salad today!
I'm in Canada and according to a quick internet search we don't have Trader Joe's. Or Aldi for that matter. Frowny face on both counts! BTW love your table cloth (seen during the TJ grocery haul)
Thank you so much Paula! One of my thrift store finds
I wish I had a trader Joe near me you are so lucky. The only time I get to go to trader Joe is when I visit my kids in Nashville and I go crazy it’s my too gotta go to store
Yes, so much fun food!
No Trader Joe's in Montana so I guess we don't meet their criteria. We also don't have Aldi which is a shame. Guess we are too far out in the wilderness. Loved your salad idea. Will be making some tomorrow.
Yes! It was so yummy
Thanks so much Susan! Love the idea of the list!
I love Traders Joes, but I really wish we had an Aldi here.
I wish we had one here too!
I've never been to TJ's and we don't have one near us. There are several in our state way north of us, but none in southern Maryland. 😒
I make a tuna pasta salad that I think I might make next week. Thanks for the idea!
Thanks for sharing Barbara!!
Love Trader Joes! But it's a 3.5 hour drive each way! Lucky you have a new one, I wish they would put one near me!
Oh that’s far!
Thank you for all the Trader Joe’s tips and suggestions!
Yes the tj orange chicken is good and cheaper than getting it at Panda Express!
Good to know Pen!
I wish we had a Trader Joe's. Living in a rural Midwest area, we only get to visit a Trader Joe's if we are traveling. We enjoy them when we get the chance. The closest one is about two hours away. Great haul!
Thanks for sharing Becki!!
Hope you share some photos or a video of your aunts 100th birthday . Great video even though I'm from Yorkshire England 😁
We will try our best to do some filming
I have a Trader Joe’s right near me. They have wonderful staff. They used to give out coffee and samples all the time. They stopped that when Covid hit.
Yes, their employees are great!
They would/will open up a package of something if you want to try a sample as well. That's very unique.
Aaaawwwwww how lovely 🌹
All those cards
I wanted so badly to send one as well but I tried to get stamps with no luck.
Happy birthday wishes 🎂 💜🌹💙🌹💜
I will tell her for sure! Thank you!
I try to stay away from ours as much as possible because I become a 9 year old with a 100 dollar bill when I get near the candy section!! They are awesome though, they donate a lot of food to local food banks.
Yes they do! Thanks so much!
Thank you so very much! Yes I love that big yellow Pyrex bowl too! Thank you so much for watching!
