When there is serious illness teamwork in a marriage is necessary. Marina, you have a good husband. I'm so glad that your parents are local. If I am positive for breast cancer I have nobody to drive me. A real problem!
I’m on taxol chemo #3 for my stage 2B triple negative breast cancer I was diagnosed with this last November 2020. Thank you for doing these videos because you have encouraged me to start recording my cancer journey here in my channel. Sending love and good vibes from southeast Kentucky
Same here starting my Chemo on 16th...very very scared of side effects, Neuropathy and hairloss...my Regime for TNBC is EC 4 and paclitaxcel 4...very scary
you are so strong woman, I am on the second chemo and I feel so down but when I am looking to your videos I start to be more optimist, you are soo brave
Your videos help me so much during docetaxel chemo. I'm so happy to see your latest videos where you are healthy and look great. YOU are an inspiration and you help thousands of people with these videos! THANK YOU!
Keep going young lady! I would think that your precious children are quite the incentive to make you happy and to be positive when nothing else seems to. Kudos to your husband as well, definitely a part of the equation and apparently a great asset for your family. God bless you all! Neuropathy is mainly about your psoas muscle! Please read up on it, very useful info and just keep being you, you are beautiful.
Thank you! They are a huge incentive for me to get up and keep going! I pray for many healthy days and years ahead! Same for you! I will look at that info on neuropathy. Thank you!

Amazing video and amazing Mom🙏💪👊🙏I am about to start my first chemo this Monday scare to death but i saw your video inspire me to start now lol🙏🥰🙏I know i got this with the help of our Lord🙏I will follow your journey🥰
What a beautiful family. I must say your personality is awesome. To hear your son talk it is so obvious of the love in your family. I admire your strength, I wish you all the best.
Thank you! Don’t get me wrong. Chemo is not fun. The symptoms can be hard. But all the pre-meds and things I did after like drinking water and eating healthy foods rest, made me feel better. But I am so used to the process it was not scary. And that’s what I hope you see. Be well!
Yes it is very important to be positive and not scary during chemo it give more positive respond I too have 10 year kid And you are handling 2 kids with chemo it is really difficult
I hope you are doing well. Stay positive. Watch all the videos on chemo to get inspiration when you need it and to learn how to deal with the side effects. It worked for me. I have 2 more cycles to go and I can not wait.
Starting chemo next week; alittle nervous. I hope I cope as well as you are. BTW you are beautiful. I haven't worn make for over 25 years, I just bought BOOM to make it easier.
You’re welcome! It is not easy. Chemo is very tiring. The premeds they give you should help with nausea and some fatigue. One day at a time though and you can get through it! I did with two kids and some help from family and still worked. Be well!
My oncologist would not advise that. They do not want you to take a lot of supplements during chemo because they don’t want anything interfering with the chemotherapy doing it’s “job”. Google B12 and chemotherapy and the latest research agrees with this.
@@wwilliams3278the Iron pills DO NOT work ...most people can't absorb enough iron from them. My doctors had me on folic acid pills with iron pills, my iron didn't budge until my oncologist started iron infusions. She even said, those pills never work.
I usually had 3 meals a day 7am-7pm. Breakfast is usually eggs or oatmeal, smoothies, soup or sandwich for lunch and chicken, Turkey or plant based dinner and sometimes red meat. Everything “organic, grass fed or pasture raised” when possible. I don’t naturally have a sweet tooth but I eat the occasional ice cream.
I did not do ice packs the first time I did chemo. I was not aware of that option. I did do acupuncture the first time during chemo for nausea and neuropathy and I felt that it did help.
Hi! I think that’s up to you. If you go somewhere, that’s very clean and hygienic and your immune system is well then maybe. You just have to be very careful with avoiding infection when you’re doing chemotherapy.
Hi Marina, I’m going through chemo right now, just had my first ABVD treatment last Thursday and I was so sick:( is that the regimen you were on? And how did you deal with the side effects?
Hi, the first chemotherapy can be very hard. I was on AC and Taxol the first time and carboplatin and Taxol the second time. Report your symptoms to your medical team. They can change your dosage or give you more antinausea to help. Stay hydrated, rest and move when you feel well enough. I hope it gets better for you!
I went to all of my chemo’s by myself. I think you can drive after if you feel well enough. That is possible. If you need help when you are tired at home, I would see if there is any volunteer help in your area. Maybe a Facebook group. Maybe a neighbor that can help check on you.

I’m so sorry. Binge all my videos if it gives you hope. You can do this. 🙏🏼❤️
I just started, how's it going?
Wouldn't taking b12 supplements help against neuropathy too?
My oncologist would not advise that. They do not want you to take a lot of supplements during chemo because they don’t want anything interfering with the chemotherapy doing it’s “job”. Google B12 and chemotherapy and the latest research agrees with this.
@@MarinaBlackford
Yes really important to just take what your oncologist advises.
@@MarinaBlackford yes agreed! I have low iron but cannot take iron pills. Instead, I am given iron infusions with chemo if necessary. ❤
