  • Today I show y'all my 1947 Mack Truck that I found in an old barn awhile back. I haven't had the chance to do much with it yet, but it shows a lot of promise and I am looking forward to getting this old beast up and running soon. Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss out on future videos featuring the Mack Truck!

67 Yrs ago I had a 1949 Mack EG. Looks like it had the same engine and transmission. We used that truck a long time, Dump in summer logs in winter. I don't remember it ever giving trouble!

Like international, Mack made their own equipment. Most other trucks are pretty generic. I drove Mack’s for a lot of years. I never had a break down. They work hard every day and they are there the next day for more. Yea, maintenance is key, but these electronic wonders of today are notorious for breakdowns. The only time I ever got stranded in a big truck was an electronic breakdown. That happened a few times.

The guy I got it from needed it out of his way and I had a few parts he wanted so we traded. Worked out pretty good I think.

This might be the only big truck left in existence that the hotrodders haven’t grabbed the headlights

That is a very true statement. It still has the original dash, seat, and keys!
