Amen and Amen. In the story of the levites, I couldn’t help but see the tribe of the African people, in my case, the Zulu tribe. I see the characteristics of the levites in us, short to anger, thirst for blood and war yet in the words of God through Moses, we were converted to intercessors who intercede for sinners through sacrificial process of animals. I am constantly reminded by my family to say even in the bible, animals were sacrificed to intercede, to ask, to protect and to favour to God “Why do you despise the practise so much”? And I say, there is no need for sacrificial lambs anymore as the greatest sacrificial lamb, which was and is the lord Jesus Christ has already interceded for us.
