i am a new rider and my 2022 Harley XL883N Iron 883 is in dire need of a throttle adjustment. My bike also has very low mileage as well and not sure if it has been adjusted before. I have noticed that my throttle has way too much free play in it. I heard that the ideal free play is around 2-3 mm but I measured mine and it is reading 10 mm, 7 mm too much. I also noticed when I am riding my bike and when I upshift to higher gears and then roll back on the throttle there is a lagging response in acceleration as well. I guess sloppy acceleration you could call it. I have watched numerous videos on how to do this but I am very timid on how to do it because I don't want to mess anything up or break something. It looks easy and would love to do it myself as this would be a great learning experience.

when you adjust your clutch pull the rubber guard back up and squirt some WD40/GT85 DOWN IT .THAT WILL STOP IT FROM GOING RUSTY.PUT A PIECE OF TISSUE / OLD RAG UNDERNEATH IT TO CATCH THE OVER RUN.

You might need to tighten it. There's also an adjustment screw in the primary that can help
