y gott think too, if everyone got their healthcare free, taxes would increase. lets say billy makes 100,000 a year, but he is always sick or doing injury risk things (jumping down stairs, scateboarding, ect.) and averages 20 doctor visits yearly now, suzie on the otherhand makes 30,000 a year and is careful and never sick. she avrages 1-3 trips per year. is it fair to have them pay the same?

It sucks because from a medical "providing" standpoint, we're one of the worst countries. But from a treatment and advanced procedures standpoint, we're one of the best. Doctors get paid a LOT, but if the medical was regulated by our government, they would make substantially less, which would result in poorer healthcare.

When I start to feel bad about my life, I look around at the small but nice home I have with attached garage and garage door opener!, a decent car, nice computer and lots of other stuff, and I KNOW how fortunate I am. But if I had their bucks I would have given a lot more. Another couple on this show gave $100,000 to each group and individual they helped. Another way to do this would be to ask, how much do you need to get on your feet or pay off the bills or what ever, and THEN write a check! If I had millions I would do what J.K. Rowling did with all her Harry Potter money and give most of it away! I would build schools and health clinics EVERYWHERE I possibly could!
