thnxs for the video ! i would like to ask you about the generation of the ssd that i can use ! what can i use in the first slot and what can i use in the second slot ? thnxs
It's my pleasure my friend. 🫠Regarding your question, you can place a 4th gen NVMe in any of the slots, and it will work perfectly fine. Just note that the 1st slot is Gen 4 and the 2nd slot is Gen 3. If you place a Gen 4 NVMe in the Gen 3 slot, it will run the NVMe as if you installed a Gen 3 SSD. I recommend installing the Gen 4 NVMe in any NVMe slot because if the connection is Gen 3, your SSD will not be stressed and will last longer since it will only operate at Gen 3 specifications and not be pushed to the maximum as Gen 4. Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻

Thanks for the video. I have a Nitro 5 and i purchased a 1tb 2.5 SSD drive. I want to remove the M2 drive and install only the 1tb drive. But when I do this, and the laptop turns on, it says no bootable device, and it won't allow me to change the boot order in the bios. If you can help me with this, ill be glad to pay you via USDT or another form of payment that works for you. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
🫠 Regarding your question, if you replace the M.2 SSD with a 1TB 2.5" SSD, you'll need to know that the 1TB SSD is empty and doesn't have Windows installed. You have two options: 1. Install Windows from a USB boot drive (link in the video description). 2. Install the 1TB 2.5" SSD, boot into Windows without removing the M.2 SSD, download a cloning program, and clone the M.2 SSD to the 2.5" SSD. Once the cloning is finished, power off the system and remove the M.2 SSD. Note: The M.2 NVMe SSD is much faster and better than a 2.5" SSD. You can install an NVMe SSD of up to 4TB, which is recommended. Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. Cheers 🍻
Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both! Regarding your question, no you can't place that with heatsink, also you don't need a heatsink on nvme up to 2TB. you could get a none heatsink version: amzn.to/47g27oQ and get a slim heatsink if you wish: amzn.to/3vagdea Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻 This is an Amazon affiliate link. I bought a 22 pin Sata SSD. The adapter i just bought has the right 12 pin motherboard adapter, but the SSD connector is only a 16 pins for the 22 on the SSD. Is that ok or is it not going to work/ or not work as well?
Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or do both! Regarding your question about the SSD 2.5" drive, if you have acquired a 2.5" SSD and are in search of the correct adapter, I would highly recommend counting the pins on the motherboard's connector. Ensure you identify the exact pin count and obtain an adapter with the matching pin count. Using an adapter with the wrong pin configuration can short the 5V line and potentially damage the motherboard. Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻
yes the limit is based on the nvme make and model you purchase, the laptop can support gen 3 nvme speed (985 megabytes per second (Mbps)) i highly recommend you get a samsung nvme for it's best durability and reliability and speed. amzn.to/3tKA8Qu Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻 This is an Amazon affiliate link. Hi I just got this laptop. The fans blow crazy loud and it gets pretty hot. If I add more memory or ram or a ssd will it help with overheating and the loud fans?
🫠If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both! Regarding your question, adding more ram or storage will not help with overheating, you may want to open and repaste, and place a good quality thermal paste like: thermal grizzly kryonaut: amzn.to/3UFwW41 that will help with fan noise and heat dissipation. I’m still kinda new to pc stuff so I don’t know but when changing the ssd if I want to get 2 new ones how can I save and keep everything that is currently on my laptop without losing it all
If you want to preserve Windows, programs, and everything else while changing both SSDs, you'll need to replace the main SSD with one of the same capacity or higher. Before installing it, you will need to get an NVMe to USB adapter, connect the new SSD via the USB adapter, and download a cloning program like Macrium Reflect. Clone the main SSD (Windows) to the new SSD using this program. Once the cloning is done, simply open the laptop, replace the drives, add the new NVMe M.2 and the 2.5" drive, and power it on. It will start Windows like nothing happened, but with the new drives installed.

Hi, love the video, is this laptop support Gen 4 x4 M.2 2280 SSD? Thanks
It's my pleasure my friend.
🫠Regarding your question, yes, it is a Gen4 PCIe lane, and you can install a 4TB NVMe of your choice (single-sided and without a heatsink) with the standard NVMe size of 2280.
Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me.

i can't find the flexcable that came with my laptop, do you have any reccomendations? Or are they all the same size/connector?
Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both!
Regarding your question, no they are not all the same size and pin counts, i will need you to count the golden pins right at the side of the HDD/SSD connector and let me know if it is a 8pin or 9pin or 12pin connector and i can help you to get the correct flex cable.

thnxs for the video !
i would like to ask you about the generation of the ssd that i can use !
what can i use in the first slot and what can i use in the second slot ?

You have two options:

Would it be possible to install a Samsung 980 Pro with heatsink?
Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both!
Regarding your question, no you can't place that with heatsink, also you don't need a heatsink on nvme up to 2TB.
you could get a none heatsink version: amzn.to/47g27oQ
and get a slim heatsink if you wish: amzn.to/3vagdea

Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me.
cheers🍻
So the motherboard pin count is correct. The motherboard is 12 and the attachment is 12 on the adapter. It's the female to SSD that does not match
send me pictures of the connectors please to my email
ask@ufixtek.com
Is there any limit for write/read nvme & ssd sata on this nitro 5 motherboard? how to check it?
yes the limit is based on the nvme make and model you purchase, the laptop can support gen 3 nvme speed (985 megabytes per second (Mbps))
i highly recommend you get a samsung nvme for it's best durability and reliability and speed.

Hi I just got this laptop. The fans blow crazy loud and it gets pretty hot. If I add more memory or ram or a ssd will it help with overheating and the loud fans?
🫠If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both!
Regarding your question, adding more ram or storage will not help with overheating, you may want to open and repaste, and place a good quality thermal paste like:
thermal grizzly kryonaut: amzn.to/3UFwW41
that will help with fan noise and heat dissipation.
Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me.

@@uFixTek why doesn’t adding memory not make the fans blow so loud?
im sorry i have hard time understanding your question, can you ask your question in your native language?
@@uFixTek I’m sorry. I would think adding ram would make the fans not so sound.
I can hear your fans. They are crazy loud just like mine.
