His interpretation is very close to the original composer + player. It is amazing that he can catch the eastern sprit during the performance while holding the historical drama tight.
What an epic piece of music! What a performance! The resilience of a nation is etched in every note of the music. This music is as relevant today as it was first conceived. When China fought the pandemic last year, it was fighting an all-out war. The war was fought and won by the same spirit manifested by their predecessors in 黃河!

The performance by the pianist and the orchestra is great. I also like the interpretation. The audio is not very good, maybe due to the equipment and arrangement of the the microphones? But the visual background is tawdry and distracting, completely superfluous. Don't we have a saying of "drawing a snake with feet"? Let's just focus on the sublime music and the performance by the virtuosic pianist.

瞎说，那时是抗日战争时期，重庆也有抗日音乐，还有好几个黄河大合唱，因为，重庆聚集了全中国的音乐家，重庆至少也有四个黄河大合唱，都是欢快幸福的音乐，蒋委员长领导的重庆没有苦难，只有中共统治的延安是苦难的中华民族啊。。。这个黄河大合唱是延安山寨重庆的黄河大合唱，我说的你信吗？抗日的国军在重庆有一个抗日歌曲吗？哪怕有一个也行啊，毕竟，国军号称抗日，既然国军抗日，国军的抗日事迹总应该感动一个重庆的音乐家写出一个抗日音乐吧？
