Mid-America trucking show 2024!! Kenworth ride and drive

- Here at the Mid-America truck show 2024 Kenworth was offering the opportunity to demo both a W990 road truck as well as a dump truck. I opted to drive both and was very impressed with them. Although I am not in the market to buy a new vehicle it was still a fun experience. Today we take you along on the adventure so you can see how nice these new machines can be.

Last Truck I ever drove Cross Country was a T680 Kenworth, had a Cummins Diesel and a 13 Speed Automatic, it was Blue in Color, I called it the Blue Mule after the W-9000 Ford from White Line Fever, That was the Nicest Truck I ever drove, had a Microwave, Fridge, and Flat Screen TV with a DVD Player in the Sleeper.
It sounds really nice. This W9 90 was really nice as well.

Over here we called them conventional. And they typically ride better because I have a longer wheelbase. And I think they look cooler than most cases. Although I do love a classic cab over.

I would love to have one of those 990s to pull a second trailer out to the rallies. I’ll leave them and give them my T6 hundred is a trade.
Love that digital dash. I’ll shift all day long, but when my company got an 880 with auto-shift - that was it for me. Switch to manual, hold a gear or force a down shift for a climb, up shift when *I* thought it was time, back to auto at the top of the hill. Almost makes me want to un-retire. Almost… 😆
I still prefer the manuals, but the automatics are kind of nice to drive
Hell yeah Adam never turn down a opportunity to test drive something new, the inside of that truck looked pretty dam sweet.what’s the price tag on something like that, and you must of been pretty dam chilly standing there in that wind waiting.
Yeah, it was very chilly and windy that day. Truth is I did not get pricing on it, but I’m sure you can find that online.
You know if you ever get your other fixed that truck should ride just like a new one
