I would be so curious to see how the people interviewed in this video would react when confronted with the fact that the Arabs invaded the region in the 7th century AD and in that sense have been "occupying" the land since then. Could you make a video asking Palestinians something along the lines of "To your knowledge, when did the Arabs/your ancestors first come to this region ("Palestine")? When did the Jews first live here? And [if you get that far] doesn't that mean that the Arabs occupied and are to this day occupying Jewish land?" Very provocative, I know. 7th Century AD is a long time. But frankly this war isn't about Arabs vs Jews. Or Muslims vs Jews.
This war is about an ideology that believes they are chosen and are given the right by God. This is the same Colonial mentality. I am from India, our history teaches this closely.
This argument about who came first is a distraction. The problem is when one side enforces Apartheid using funds and support of a sponsor.

No one is defending Islam here. But you have to bring it in the conversation to subvert the argument. Just to make people run around in circles and kill another 10k civilians in the name of defense. What great moral absolutism you have.
If you don't want to look at evidence, great for you. Areas and streets are color code in Israel, defining where Palestinians can walk, sell an enter. I don't know what else you want so that you can define apartheid. Palestinians have different passport colors to divide them. Do you have different colored passports in your country. Mine doesn't.
Apartheid is real. UN said Isreal is an Apartheid. Amnesty international said the same. But wait you must know the best, without any research. I am at least not blind to the crimes of Muslims, Hindus, Christians, Jewish or any religion.

Israeli here. Have been left-wing (Meretz) for decades. Corey's channel has made me reconsider my left-wing position. I really want peace but I see that there is almost nobody on the other side who recognizes Jews' right to this land and really wants to live in peace with me. Meretz is still my political home due to their secular agenda, and I do despise the Israeli religious right, however there is a problem here. People who are not willing to let me live in peace in the country I was born in, which my family has lived in for over a century, are my enemies. I'd better acknowledge that.
The Palestinian Arabs could have had a state in 1948. I don't think their attitude has worked out very well for them so far. Please note I say Palestinian Arabs and not Palestinians, since Palestinian Jews are Palestinians too, as well as being Israelis.

I also think its a mistake to go back to 1948, the reality then was obviously quite different than it is now.

It's ridiculous to as much as suggest so. Ntm Israel doesn't "owe" those who have been trying to destroy their nation and kill all of them, for a century and counting, a dmn thing for that.

If the saying at 7:00 "all occupations come to an end" was true, then there would have been thousands of member states in the UN general assembly, not just 200.
It is easy to see occupations that ceased to exist and were replaced, unlike occupations that remained in place and erased earlier cultures.
A prime example is the Islamic invasion, colonization and Arabization of lands from India to Morocco, an occupation that erased many earlier cultures.

Hi EF peace! So for UN I don't care about its members and all rules!many lot join many not . Being and having a reasonable attitude , I just wanna say that u have completely missed the point about invasion and religious spread. See if by ur definition we define occupation ,then there is not a single religion who erased as many cultures as cristianity did. If u are religious then u perhaps know that God has commanded mankind of the times the prophet was sent to - be it Moses (pbuh) be it Joshua(pbuh) be it Mohammad (pbuh) - to spread the religion they have been told about by respective prophets
Now about invasion and occupation ! Britain is a great example of such where a country of different faith invades another through trickery and tries not to erode the beliefs of people but to gain values economically.
Islam or Christianity spread across continents based only on their own belief, in majority of points times being sent as a group of religious scholars and less as a war tactic.
Ever imagined if Islam were to spread as a war tactic, why was it spread only till the middle eastern countries through war and gain of territory. Because the places that were in war were merely doing all that they have been doing for centuries. Middle eastern countries were at war with each other for the gain of control gain of territory even before the coming of last prophet or Islam as u may know it.
People in Fiji and newzealand have both Christians and muslims that are decendents and not settlers there and no war was fought .
Religions don't spread by occupation and war my dear brother and should be thought so.
Turning to occupation, Islam never ever erased a single culture in middle East - every culture that was in each country is preserved as such ,it's just the beliefs that u may say we're erased. As either they were not according to their newly acquired faith or they simple prefered being Muslim (arabanization as u would say) or Christian .
I hope u would answer, if u even did , with all rationality and truthfulness ....
      Peace.

These Muslims never read the Quran. The Quran makes it clear, the Children of Israel will be brought back to the Land of Israel at the end of times. The Quran of course steals this truth from the Torah. Surah 17:104 "And We said after him [i.e., Pharaoh] to the Children of Israel, "Dwell in the land, and when there comes the promise [i.e., appointment] of the Hereafter, We will bring you forth in [one] gathering."" That verse is pure Torah Zionism.
BTW, Surah 17 is called Al-Isra, which translates to Children of Israel. Palestine is never once mentioned in the Quran, while the Children of Israel are mentioned many times.

@@CCCc-gq3gx you're very welcome. I just want to clear one thing up. I see that I didn't fully describe something in my comment. Surah 17, which is now called Al-Isra, was originally called Bani Israel. The earliest Hadiths refer to the Surah as Bani Israel and it is considered the second name of the Surah even today. Bani Israel obviously literally translates to Children of Israel.
At some point the Surah's name was changed to Al-Isra. Isra is conveniently the name Muslims began to call Mohammad's journey at night by flying donkey to Jerusalm. Muslims today claim that Al-Isra translates to The Night Journey. Of course Isra is just a name given to the journey, and conveniently also is very similar to the name Israel.
Again, based on numerous Hadiths, the original name of the Surah is Bani Israel, and it's still considered the second name of the Surah today. It is clear that the name Al-Isra was added for a reason, I'll leave you to decide what that reason could be. You can easily verify everything I wrote here by doing a quick Google search.
I unfortunately noticed that I wasn't clear in my original post, so I decided to add this long comment as clarification. BTW, the fact that the name was changed at some point also disproves the claim that the Quran hasn't been changed or corrupted.

I don't have time to read all the replies, but Islam isn't a religion of blind peace. Islam is a religion of peace based on justice. If there is no justice there will never be peace. Islam in Arabic etymology means peace; however, its true meaning or the true meaning of being a Muslim is to completely and utterly submit to Allah, our creator.
In the Holy Quran, it says, "Holy is He Who carried His servant by night from the Holy Mosque (in Makkah) to the farther Mosque (in Jerusalem) whose surroundings We have blessed that We might show him some of Our Signs.1 Indeed He alone is All-Hearing, All-Seeing. And We gave Moses the Scripture and made it a guide for the Children of Israel, ˹stating:˺ 'Do not take besides Me any other Trustee of Affairs, O˺ descendants of those We carried with Noah ˹in the Ark˺! He was indeed a grateful servant.' And We warned the Children of Israel in the Scripture, 'You will certainly cause corruption in the land twice, and you will become extremely arrogant. When the first of the two warnings would come to pass, We would send against you some of Our servants of great might, who would ravage your homes. This would be a warning fulfilled. Then ˹after your repentance˺ We would give you the upper hand over them and aid you with wealth and offspring, causing you to outnumber them. If you act rightly, it is for your own good, but if you do wrong, it is to your own loss. 'And when the second warning would come to pass, your enemies would ˹be left to˺ totally disgrace you and enter the Temple ˹of Jerusalem˺ as they entered it the first time, and utterly destroy whatever would fall into their hands."
The matter isn't about what you think or what the UN or the US decides. The reality is sooner or later, today or tomorrow, the Justice of Allah will prevail over all.

It doesn't say that in the Koran, quite the contrary. It says that the land belongs to the Children of Israel: According to some Muslim scholars, the Koran recognizes the special link between the Jewish people and the Land of Israel. One of the texts that is often cited is verse 5:21 in the Koran, where Moses declares: “O my people! Enter the Holy Land which God has decreed for you, and turn back on your heels otherwise you will be overturned as losers.” This passage is examined through the eyes of one classic commentator of the Koran, Muhammad ibn Jarir al-Tabari (838-923), who says that this remark is “a narrative from God… concerning the saying of Moses… to his community from among the children of Israel and his order to them according to the order of God to him, ordering them to enter the holy land.”

How come we find ancient Inca, Mesopotamia, Persian Greek, Chinese, Roman, Egyptian, Indian, Aboriginal and other ancient civilizations and cultures, and yet, nothing has ever been discovered of PALESTINIAN ancient civilization before and AFTER 1964?
    WHERE IS PALESTINE?

    1. Before Israel, there was a British mandate, not a Palestinian state
    2. Before the British Mandate, there was the Ottoman Empire, not a Palestinian state.

    8. Before the Byzantine Empire, there were the Sassanids, not a Palestinian state.

    12. Before the Hasmonean state, there was the Seleucid, not a Palestinian state.
    13. Before the Seleucid empire, there was the empire of Alexander the Great, not a Palestinian state.
    14. Before the empire of Alexander the Great, there was the Persian empire, not a Palestinian state.
    15. Before the Persian Empire, there was the Babylonian Empire, not a Palestinian state.
    16. Before the Babylonian Empire, there were the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah, not a Palestinian state.
    17. Before the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah, there was the Kingdom of Israel, not a Palestinian state.
    18. Before the kingdom of Israel, there was the theocracy of the twelve tribes of Israel, not a Palestinian state.
    19. Before the theocracy of the twelve tribes of Israel, there was an agglomeration of independent Canaanite city-kingdoms, not a Palestinian state.
    20. Actually, in this piece of land there has been everything, EXCEPT A PALESTINIAN STATE.

As an Israeli, I find this very difficult to watch. We, the Jewish people throughout history emigrated between many different countries and states (Especially Europe) because we have been treated badly through racism and violence, you could deffinetely see in in the holocaust where 6 million Jews were excecuted for being Jews. Our only option to rightfully exist is by having a state of our own where we can live and defend ourselves, and yes, in our homeland where we originally came from. There is evidence that Jews settled in the land of Israel througout history even before the Islam or any Arabic empire that ruled the land of Israel. Now, of course in 1948 there are arabs that live in the land of Israel, we didn't want to kick them out as we agreed to the UN solution of 2 states, but the arabs refused because they don't believe in our existence, so how are we supposed to have peace when the other side is not even ready for negotiation or acknowledge or rights to live in our homeland.

Let me tell you what all Palestinians know but did not want to say on camera. They believe Russia will bomb the West in a Nuclear War (they are known as Gog and Magog), the West will be completely destroyed. This will push the world into a dark winter and cut off Israel from their main western supporters. All the nations who survive, will be dealing with the fall-out from such a war. During this time, the Jews in Israel will destroy the Al-Aqsa mosque and build the third temple, the Anti-Christ will announce himself as the Jewish Messiah. At the same time in Medina, Saudi, the Mehdi will announce himself and form an army to liberate Palestine. The Mehdi and his army will march to Jerusalem where they are met by the Anti-Christ and his army (IDF). At this point Jesus will descend from heaven and defeat the anti-Christ and his armies. At this point Israel will be a defeated state and no longer exist either as a government or religion. Jesus will be accepted by all as the one true Messiah.
Some Muslims and most Palestinians know this prophecy. As they see events unfold in Ukraine, they realise they are coming close to the end. It's hard for them to articulate this on camera.

Facts about Israel that the haters of Israel don’t like:
*1.* Israel became a state in 1312 B.C.E., two millennia before Islam.
*2.* Arab refugees from Israel began calling themselves “Palestinians” in 1967, two decades after (modern) Israeli statehood in 1948.
*3.* After conquering the land in 1272 B.C.E., Jews ruled it for a thousand years and maintained a continuous presence there for 3,300 years.
*4.* The only Arab rule following conquest in 633 B.C.E. lasted just 22 years.
*5.* For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem was the Jewish capital. It was never the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Even under Jordanian rule,(East) Jerusalem was not made the capital, and no Arab leader came to visit it.
*6.* Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in the bible, but not once is it mentioned in the Qur’an.
*7.* King David founded Jerusalem; Mohammed never set foot in it.
*8.* Jews pray facing Jerusalem; Muslims face Mecca. If they are between the two cities, Muslims pray facing Mecca, with their backs to Jerusalem.
*9.* In 1948, Arab leaders urged their people to leave, promising to cleanse the land of Jewish presence. 68% of them fled without ever setting eyes on an Israeli soldier.
*10.* Virtually the entire Jewish population of Muslim countries had to flee as the result of violence and pogroms.
*11.* Some 630,000 Arabs left Israel in 1948, while close to a million Jews were forced to leave the Muslim countries.
*12.* In spite of the vast territories at their disposal, Arab refugees were deliberately prevented from assimilating into their host countries. Of 100 million refugees following World War 2, they are the only group tohave never integrated with their co-religionists. Most of the Jewish refugees from Europe and Arab lands were settled in Israel, a country no larger than New Jersey, USA.
*13.* There are 22 Muslim countries, not counting Palestine. There is only one Jewish state.
*14.* Fatah and Hamas constitutions still call for the destruction of Israel.
Israel ceded most of the west bank and all of Gaza to the Palestinian authority, and even provided it with arms.
*15.* During the Jordanian occupation, Jewish holy sites were vandalized and were off limits to Jews. Under Israeli rule, all Muslim and Christian holy sites are accessible to all faiths.
*16.* Out of 175 United Nations Security Council resolutions up to1990, 97 were against Israel; out of 690 general assembly resolutions,429 were against Israel.
*17.* The U.N. was silent when the Jordanians destroyed 58 synagogues in the old city of Jerusalem. It remained silent while Jordan systematically desecrated the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives, and it remained silent when Jordan enforced apartheid laws preventing Jews from accessing the temple mount and western wall.
*18.* Arabs started all five wars against Israel, and lost every one of them.

It's RELIGION AND PROPAGANDA. These people are fed false history and are indoctrinated by their stubborn, corrupt and evil leaders. They sound like a herd of robots.
Ask them where and when Palestine was a sovereign country with Jerusalem as their capital. I would love to hear their answers.
I think that defining a Palestinian state is important - they call for the whole of Israel and if you read between the lines, their smiles, bowing and scraping at United Nations, they lie so blatantly about teaching their children love, tolerance and singing kumbaya around a campfire while glorifying their mass murderers of our children, it is sickening, and it has created a sick society of young Palestinian people, and in this video, the parents.
If you don't speak or understand Arabic, you will not understand the nuances behind the words in Arabic or the translations in English.
Again, never mind about 7th century mindset - this is now a religious war - they, the Arab/Muslims want their caliphate, and it does not matter how many millions of Christians,
Jews or Sunni/Shiite Muslims are caught in the middle.
The beginning and the end are an Islamic Caliphate - to which Western ears sounds too far-fetched and outrageous.
It does not matter who broke which treaty - the Arabs are using tactics like trying to undermine the Balfour Declaration and the 1947 United Nations Partition Plan.
They don't care about the Peel Commission, they never did - the most important issue on their agenda is to create an Islamic Caliphate.
This is exactly what ISIS has tried for so many years - smudging the border lines drawn by France and England (Sykes/Pico) in Syria and Libya and this is what the Arabs aka 1964 Palestinians dream of doing as well.
Do you really believe them when they look you straight in the eye and say, now after 72 years; oh, please, please, we will be so grateful to get 1967 borders; and promise to be such good little children.
Deep down in your soul, do you really believe them?
And... this is exactly the plan the Palestinians have; sweet talk, smiles, and promises - they refused and rejected their homeland in 1947 but in fact they did not want that homeland; they, as Muslims have a greater plan -
AN ISLAMIC CALIPHATE OVER THE WHOLE LAND - OURS AND YOURS - YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT!!!!
Never forget that the Palestinians are Arabs - not just Arabs, they are religious Arabs with one agenda and one goal.
Palestinians present themselves as "victims' and are winning pity votes.
Of course, not all Palestinians are fanatically religious, but there are enough who are; and they influence the silent majority.
We claim that Judea and Samaria were Jewish Kingdoms (ancient history); they claim Judea and Samaria as the West Bank - which was the West Bank of Jordan's ILLEGAL OCCUPATION from 1948 to 1967.
We learned to our detriment when we unilaterally withdrew from Gaza in 2005 that land for peace does not work with Arabs.
When we forcibly removed our people from Gaza, we even took our deceased people from that soil and reburied their bodies with love and reverence, in Israel.
Read biased media and what is left, hypnotised and ignorant people.

    WHERE IS PALESTINE?
A crash course on history of PALESTINIAN STATE:
    1. Before Israel, there was a British mandate, not a Palestinian state
    2. Before the British Mandate, there was the Ottoman Empire, not a Palestinian state.
    3. Before the Ottoman Empire, there was the Islamic state of the Mamluks of Egypt, not a Palestinian state.
    4. Before the Islamic state of the Mamluks of Egypt, there was the Ayubid Arab-Kurdish Empire, not a Palestinian state.
    5. Before the Ayubid Empire, there was the Frankish and Christian Kingdom of Jerusalem, not a Palestinian state.
    6. Before the Kingdom of Jerusalem, there was the Umayyad and Fatimid empires, not a Palestinian state.
    7. Before the Umayyad and Fatimid empires, there was the Byzantine empire, not a Palestinian state.
    8. Before the Byzantine Empire, there were the Sassanids, not a Palestinian state.
    9. Before the Sassanid Empire, there was the Byzantine Empire, not a Palestinian state.
    10. Before the Byzantine Empire, there was the Roman Empire, not a Palestinian state.
    11. Before the Roman Empire, there was the Hasmonean state, not a Palestinian state.
Muhammad Nadzirudeen Palestine was only a geographical region in the Levant; there has never, ever existed a sovereign Palestinian state, country or nation in any RECORDED HISTORY.

    • @blueshirt26
      @blueshirt26 Год назад +2

By your logic then most countries around the world even THE UNITED STATES shouldn't have existed because there were no countries by the name of America before the British came and even after the British settled there, there was no America other than a geographic name for a continent (of which it was named after an Italian guy). America only became the name of a country which is called the United States of America after its independence.
Palestine deserves a state, a state for its people, the people who for hundreds or even thousands of years have tied to this land. There is no international law that states a nation cannot have a country because prior to that they have no country and when you talk about history, then Palestinians does have historical connection to the land as well.
Plus the Arabs were not foreign to the Levant, they have been there since the time the Israelites were no more than a bunch of 12 tiny tribes scattered across the coastal western Levant. Plus genetic and cultural evidence shows that Palestinians were indeed indigenous to the land, they have been Arabized that's all. They're you freaking relatives, give them a state it deserves!

Your entire argument lies on the foundation that people are illegitimate and do not have rights unless they were once represented by a de facto independent modern nation-state. There was no state of Israel prior to 1948. There was supposedly a kingdom in antiquity NAMED Israel, just like how there was a roman province NAMED Palestine after the Philistines. Therefore it's ok if someone comes along and displaces you, because, there was no Israel.
