@ChrisWillx 02:40 Pretty surprised by Douglas Murray comparing Israel's "colonisation" to general immigration. When you immigrate, you integrate into the country you're joining. The intention of Israel was/is to create a new homeland. Honestly, this is all too complicated for me to form a concrete opinion on, but the comparison above felt off. For some context, here's a quick summary of the early formation of Israel: - In 19th century Europe, the agenda to establish a Jewish homeland was initiated by Theodor Herzl and other Jewish leaders who were responding to the widespread anti-Semitism and persecution of Jews, particularly in Eastern Europe and Russia. - Herzl organized the first Zionist Congress in Basel, Switzerland, in 1897, which established the World Zionist Organization and promoted Jewish immigration to Ottoman Palestine with the goal of creating a Jewish state. - Small numbers of Jews, known as the Old Yishuv, had been living in Palestine for centuries. But it was the waves of Jewish immigrants (Aliyahs) beginning in the late 19th century that laid the foundations for a future Jewish state. - During World War I, British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour issued the Balfour Declaration in 1917, which expressed support for the establishment of a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine, then a territory of the Ottoman Empire. After the war, Britain took control of Palestine under a League of Nations mandate. - From 1920 to 1948, Britain administered Palestine. This period was marked by growing Jewish immigration, land purchases, and community building, but also rising tensions between Jewish and Arab communities. - The extermination of six million Jews during the Holocaust in World War II generated international sympathy for the plight of Jews and increased pressure for a Jewish homeland. .... and then it gets increasingly complicated.
I appreciate both you and Douglas, but some of the things said in jest truly are done in poor taste: laughing at the tall buildings joke, thinking that equating immigrants to colonisers is sound reasoning... I'm sorry, man, but it's not; it's far more nuanced than that, and this just smacks of you two harping on about the latest "current thing" without actually really trying to understand the nuances in question: gay people CAN be pro-Palestine in the sense that they condemn what can only be described as a humanitarian disaster in Gaza at present; immigrants can never be colonizers if they don't have the economic, political or social capital to subjugate the indigenous population and bend it to your will for some ideological, nationalistic or religious. You guys really are better than this, so apply yourselves and act like it.
Don't let us break your hearts, we will not compromise Islam. The only way you will be accepted by us, is if you leave the ignorant ways of your forefathers, your pagan nations, your immoral values and submit to Allah ﷻ who created you, and you believe with certainty in the Day of Judgement and you establish the 5 Daily Prayers in the Mosques and pay the Zakat. So if you deny Allah ﷻ and say you will turn to dust and vanish into non-existence until lgbt became fair-seeming to you, then you need to repent, purify yourself and believe and do what we do in order to support us. But if you are stubborn with your falsehood, then listen to this homosexual, because we will not accept you. But if they repent and perform As-Salat (the Five Obligatory Prayers), and give Zakat, _then leave their way free._ Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [Al-Maa'idah 5:55]
@@EyeGodZA I mean yea, you can oppose the fire bombing of Dresden if you're gay, but that doesn't mean you should chant "Gays for Nazi Germany". If you are a human with an intact moral code, then you side with Israel. Obviously. If you have opinions on exactly how Israel should go about crushing Hamas, then you do that as a person who's with Israel - on Team People. You'd think it goes without saying that we don't side with murderous bronze age barbarians. And why shouldn't you be able to make the immigration parallell? Jews moved to Israel throughout a 50-year period during Ottoman, British, and French rule bringing the Jewish population in the region from about 5% before the Zionist movement, to about 1/3 by the time of the UN resolution. As the Levant region decolonized in 1948, the land was split up between Jews and Arabs. Israel was once again a Jewish homeland for the first time in 2500 years, and Palestine was its own state for the first time in history. Unfortunately the two-state solution was not accepted by the Arabs, and the rest is history. So my question to you is how is it not fair to point to hypocrisy among people who argue against Israel by pushing a Great Replacement narrative - when those same people object to countries like Britain when they want to limit the flow of immigration? That is to say nothing about the fact that Jews returning to Israel _actually_ constitutes indigenous repatriation, unlike the immigration of, say, Muslims to Britain.
Why doesn’t the guy holding up the sign Queers for Gaza, take a trip to Gaza and hold up that sign in the middle of the street. But as Douglas said, not enough tall buildings left in Gaza.
As a retired educator in the U.S., I'm embarrassed by what's happening with the education system in the country. The teacher's unions have alot to do with it along with the liberals.
From Australia 🇦🇺 what's happening in USA 🇺🇸. What problem do you have and how do unions come into what issue it is. Surely it I s not as bad as WW11 COME on now
It’s stupid because they’re making this about themselves. “Queers for Palestine” means they’re making this about their queer identity, and they’re trying to use American politics on Middle Eastern conflicts. It just doesn’t work 🤦♀️
Lol no. Just because they mention that they're queer doesn't mean they're making it about themselves. I suspect it's the same reasoning as the title Women for Trump; to be a response to possible claims of bigotry of the supported party by signaling that a supposed target of said bigotry is in support of said party.
what's funny is that even Western Muslim chase "Queers for Palestine" away from their events... it's happening in the West. And these fools still don't learn a thing

Here here. Douglas Murray gets it. Mad respect from this Canadian as well. Our country is melting under the stress of repressive tolerance at the moment. We need strong, classically liberal voices to make their ascendency back to the common discourse. It's shocking how quickly everything was taken over by commissariats, and how easily it is for people to espouse equity based virtues like they are second nature. People are starting to think in terms of dialectical materialism and it leading to Lysenkoism across multiple domains. I worry that it's too big to fail because we didn't worry about this sooner. That makes people like Douglas Murray very valuable for society right now.
What do you think most religious jews in israel think about you being a homosexual? Being gay and not wanting the innocent civilians of Gaza to be indiscriminately bombed to death is not stupidly naive or supporting Hamas. Do you have any humanity at all?
@@geeunit831 that’s not the issue. we all want to see the palestinian people thrive. the irony is what would happen if palestine was freed or hamas was able to carry out all its wants. if this goal the “the gays for gaza” want actually happens. there would be another country they wouldn’t be allowed to visit for safety reasons. unlike how gay people in israel have equal rights and are welcomed by the nation. it’s like a chicken saying they want more KFCs to open instead of chicken safety areas.
@@kayasnyder2042 There are many issues with this conflict... This goes beyond "Hamas bad, Israel good" Ask yourself why Hamas exists in the first place? I don't care if Hamas or anyone else for that matter live by Sharia law. First and foremost the Palestinian people deserve the right to live. They deserve the right to live freely on their own land. They deserve the right to clean water, food, electricty and all the basic necessities of life. They deserve the right to have their own airport, control their own land space and maritime space, they deserve the right to travel freely within their own boarders, to build the necessary infrastructure to be a thriving society. They deserve to live in peace without being indiscriminately bombed every 2 years by their US backed neighbours who have one of the largest armies and most advanced defense systems in the world. Absolutely! So refreshing to have someone like him that just speaks for so many people who haven't yet been sucked into this crazy and bizarre vortex of delusion.
Douglas Murray is really taking the gloves off the last few times I've seen him interviewed. He's saying a lot of the things I've been thinking for years, that the road we're on is a very bad one and will lead eventually to a very dark place. It's inevitable, and I can't really understand why those in charge can't see it. The obvious alternative is that they can see what's going to happen and are continuing down the path to destruction on purpose.

As soon as I first heard the chant "Queers for Palestine" I thought: "They're either deluded enough they'd go to Gaza in "solidarity' or they just want a cause to jump behind because they've nothing else on." If they did their homework, Israel is the ONLY place in the Middle East that accepts the LGBT++ community, they accept everything the rest of the M.E despises; democracy, abortions, religious and social harmony, freedom of self expression. @@kpax45 Different notes. Jordan Peterson feels like the more serious one. A professor (as he is) communicates information and debates differently than Douglas Murray, who feels more like a philosopher and thinker and has a less “serious” demeanour to him until he gets annoyed. Personally, I have sympathy for the Palestinian people. They are under rough conditions and I don't see this changing any time soon. Don't have sympathy for the PLO, Hezbollah, Hamas and those who funded them. But what is the solution? We had the Oslo Accords which couldn't fully go through partly from the assassination of the Israeli PM who was a leader in the negotiations. Don't see moderate voices on the Palestinian side, and expect that Hamas, etc. would get rid of those in short order if there were any. Not optimistic the current Israeli military adventure will produce much in long term resolution to this, any more than the adventure into Lebanon did in the 1980s.

I had several liberal friends. They used to talk about being all-inclusive. Cool, no problems there. We didn't agree on all politics, but we didn't bring it up either. We had a falling out when I called them on bit of BS they were saying, having to do with Wizards of the Coast, the people behind D&D. I was warned "if you're not with us, you're against us." Well man... Personally, I don't know any people that supports Hamas. Anyway, there is a lot of people who want to stop killing civilians. Because you are not saying that civilians in Gaza = Hamas. Right?
@akari6859 I'm saying that if you do NOT consider all Gazans within the Hamas-controlled parts parts of the Gaza Strip as hostiles, then you are pretending that the world is something other than what it really is, not recognizing it for what it actually is. In actuality, Hamas has the support of the majority of Gazans. Thus all Gazans within Hamas-controlled territory must be considered hostile. If Gazans do not support Hamas and do not want to be considered as hostile, which certainly some do not, *then they need to surrender to the IDF.* No "humanitarian aid" should go to the Hamas-controlled parts of Gaza, as this would only give Hamas and its supporters physical and emotional comfort and strengthen their will to fight. However, Gazans who have surrendered to the IDF should receive all the food, water, medicine and security that they need, in accordance with the Geneva Convention. I hope this makes clear what I'm saying... (Now watch it get deleted...)
@@benjauron5873 To some extand I can agree, but as we agree, Hamas are terrorists that made their choice, that position of people living in Gaza is not as simple. They’re innocent humans, so I don’t think the topic should be focused on the walking contradictions, being far too woke to comprehend reality, but on the response of the governments around the world.
@terrytrevor Many people seem to be under the impression that same-sex rights were universally won when the debate hit a peak a decade ago with and the US legalised gay marriage. In reality, a very significant chunk of the globe is still very anti-gay (not just anti-gay-marriage but anti-gay-survival)... with Muslim populations pretty universally that way. @VineGrove123 The live together and make it work attitude works as long as the culture that gave rise to that success persists. Mass immigration and generous asylum is replacing that culture with the culture of failed states, especially when combined with the indoctrination of a certain religion and the higher breeding rate that enables the proliferation of that religion. What is democracy if the population of a country undergoes a seismic shift away from the native culture within a generation or two? @davidtiger very simple. If any other nation had its citizens mass murdered and hundreds kidnapped, it would be entirely reasonable for that nation to pursue the destruction of the kidnappers and the release of those hostages (the latter as an absolute minimum). If kidnappers and murders are granted impunity as long as they hide among a civilian population (much of which supports them anyway in this case), kidnap and murder are essentially legalised. Naturally there's more to it than that but that is a fundamental.

For some context, here's a quick summary of the early formation of Israel:
- In 19th century Europe, the agenda to establish a Jewish homeland was initiated by Theodor Herzl and other Jewish leaders who were responding to the widespread anti-Semitism and persecution of Jews, particularly in Eastern Europe and Russia.
Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,
But if they repent and perform As-Salat (the Five Obligatory Prayers), and give Zakat, _then leave their way free._ Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [At-Taubah 9:5]
Verily, your Wali (Protector or Helper) is none other than Allah, His Messenger (ﷺ), and the believers; those who perform As-Salat (the Five Obligatory Prayers), and give Zakat, and they are Raki'un (those who bow down or submit themselves with obedience to Allah in prayer).

Douglas Murray is basically Gordon Ramsay of politics. He will state the facts the way they are and will call people out when nobody else will. He won't tolerate stupidity.
One big problem though is Douglas doesn’t actually understand what is going on so his ideas are actually creating problems because it’s not reality.
@@Sarah-with-an-Hhi Sarah, I think he knows exactly what is going on, I think he knows his history, he knows his politics.
I do feel his anger is blinding him somewhat though.
@@snoitanicullah Oh he doesn’t and he never has but yet you were convinced he’s correct about everything
@@snoitanicullah Do you realize that the same people same group that caused World War II or causing all the problems we are having today are you aware of that I am do you think Douglas is aware that he sure not saying it

Douglas Murray is BOSS. Side note: it hurts my soul to get only 9 minutes of this treasure trove.
Check out the ‘Triggernometry’ interview with him, a full hour!
Yes, watch the Triggernometry interview of Douglas Murray. I watched it this morning. His depictions of the far left are witty and accurate. It's so satisfying to listen to his contempt for the far left.
take his opinions and go out and tell them to a few people in birming ham on the the street. GO ON!, you want them all on boats or WORSE, YOU take some yourself!!!
Get audio book ' War on the west' and put it on loop ...job done...you're welcome!😅
women should join more on the front line, OH NO WAIT> THERE'S NONE!! LOL
Douglas Murray always willing to say how it really is has a rare ability to drill down right to the point makes me feel sane again.
Agree with you Douglas thanks for being brave. My mother was from Wimbledon she grew up during WW11. She has passed away now. She sat in her air aid shelter with the Nazi bombs dropping all around. I toured the area with her in the 1990's to see where her builder father had built private and public shelters. People do not understand history. Hamas would truly terrorize gay people. British government allowing people talking of eliminating the Jewish people is astounding and people who do not understand this will find out the hard way. Absolute fools love you Mr. Murray
Not just Hamas terrorise gays but the Islamic religion in general
Would your mother support the collective punishment, a war crime of the bombing of over 12,000 civilians, over half of which are children?
@@SallySturman: That’s a drop in the ocean compared to the number of German civilians (including children) killed by British bombs in WW2, in order to achieve ‘regime change’ in Nazi Germany. (The number is about 350,000 by the way).
Oh, in case you’re wondering, the Germans only killed 60,000 British civilians during WW2. So we killed 6 times as many German civilians as they did of ours.
So Israel are doing the same as the British and you support it? I don't. @@timonsolus
@@SallySturmanWhen did Hamas warn the Israelis and delay their operations for weeks in order to minimize civilian casualties? Oh, that’s right, the IDF did that with Gazans; Hamas didn’t allow the civilians to leave…
I feel like it comes from parents telling their kids "You can become anything you want", and never telling them "no"...
"Mom, I want to be a man of Fridays, a woman on Saturdays, be gay at night only, defend homophobes by day, promote abortion rights, but advocate for conservative parties."
"Sure, you can be whatever you want sweety..."
Ladies and Gents, the BRILLIANT Douglas Murray, an elegant ship of truth sailing through the sea of bullshit. Please give us more time!
OMGee I love Douglas Murray! One incredible orator. Thank you for having him on.
Douglas is already at the old man stage of his life where he gives no fucks about what he says or picking people up on what they say. Love it.
I think that's cos he's gay. It turbo charges your wit and forthrightness
@@Denis.Collins Any chance you remember what's the name of the clip? I have to see that lmao.
As a gay boy what I love about douglas murray is that he doesn't make being gay his whole persona. For a while I thought he was just a flamboyant speaking straight man because he rarely mentions he's gay.
@@Denis.Collins lol okay pal. You’re gonna make stuff up then go for it
He never makes it about his sexuality. He argues with intellect, not cat fights and bitchiness. This interview here is a tad more lighthearted. He overpowers you with knowledge, not voice projection.
I just happened to run across this video and started watching because of Douglas Murray was on it. Fantastic!
The only guy on TV this days that says the truth ...
Do you still watch TV?
@@alanc6781yeah I do mate, what’s your question? Or did you come on here to put a random comment up then scurry off under your bed
If he's on TV, they'll cancel him
Who cares, tv is dying. People spend more time on their phones getting their info than television.
Majority of people on here would likely watch more RUclips than tv.
It's so cultish seeing thousands of identical worshipping comments on anything even remotely political. Is it really so hard for people to just see another human and go "huh. Anyways"
Mr Murray was a real discovery for me thanks to his comments on the current situation in the Middle East as well as the reactions in western society. I am not sure my intellectual abilities are up to read any of his work so I am grateful that I can listen to interviews or podcasts with him. I hope his explanations can help to wake up people in Europe before it is too late.
You could follow his ideas easily pal, guy should be PM over here
I watched the series finale of "Fear the Walking Dead" the other day, and it had one of the greatest lines of dialog I'd ever heard. The character said, "Pretending the world is something other than what it is? That's what gets people killed." I think That's a lesson that these pro-Hamas people in the West REALLY need to learn.
Holy shit I just finished it yesterday... Definitely agree
Pretending Israel is a democracy is the reason 31000 peoples have been killed in Gaza so i guess AMC was on to something 🤔
Well man...
I mean, before attack of Hamas on Izrael, what options they had? From their perspective Hamas were they only institution that at least pretend to care of them. Do you really thing that launching rockets at Gaza's people make them: "Yeah, maybe we were bad guys?" or they start to radicalize even more? We still don't forget that the families of killed civilians living outside of Gaza will start to activly support Hamas, just for pure lust for revange. Also, do you really think the children living inside Gaza are hostile too? Or maybe do you think that teh should surrender to IDF? If they survive, what that childern will remember? That part is sounds for me ridicoulus, because from their point of view, IDF are aggresors and occupants. Do you really think that the averge citizen of Gaza known about plan of Hamas attack? Do you really think that the main leaders of Hamas are inside of Gaza or they are hiding safety in Saudian Arabia, where they get money form whealthy shaikhs? And don't pretend that Israel's government was always fair to the gazans Despite all of that I just wonder where it lead to.
Tell them to take their flag to Saudi Arabia and march around over there. See how that goes. Wear shorts too because it can get pretty hot.

Thank you Douglas, you never disappoint. Brilliant.
Great opening line, we are all sick of the western education system that has brainwashed many of our kids like this.
It's not education any more it's indoctrination
The irony
One thing that I find interesting is that the word “brainwashing” seems to have lost all objective meaning. It’s now completely subjective and politically based. I go through right wing and left wing comments and they all seem to think that the other side is “brainwashing” children.
What a massively ignorant thing to say lmao
I love when Douglas is so Frank about a subject and not tip toeing. It’s so refreshing hearing what someone genuinely thinks about. People are so mindless now days they just go along with the flow of how you should publicly view things. ❤❤
Absolutely
So, we should explain to "The Gays for Gaza" (Hamas Territory) this is an Islamic land and Homosexuality and Lesbianism are not accepted. Penalties are rather harsh. So if the Gays do support Hamas, then they should get an Air Fare and pronto. They will only need a One Way Ticket.
Been aware of Douglas Murray for a long time. Never afraid to attack opposing clans. A pleasure to listen to.
Douglas, thank you ! Every word you utter is pure 24 carat gold! You look as stunning as ever, as well. Love, from a fan in Israel!
He's 100% right about the American approach to applying the twisted western lens on things they don't agree with. I buy his books because he's a great author, but I'd buy his books if he wasn't because this man needs to be supported and amplified.
As a gay guy, I totally get the ridiculousness of ‘Gays for Gaza’ even existing, I literally walk past it at Uni everyday.
But as a someone who knows Palestinians, some who are gay, I can relate to their injustices, I can be empathetic to them and what’s occurring in Gaza, regardless of the religion or ideology there.
They’re innocent humans, so I don’t think the topic should be focused on the walking contradictions, being far too woke to comprehend reality, but on the response of the governments around the world.
As a gay man in the UK I absolutely Don't support Palestine and fully support Israel, Jews and our western culture
So you’re the other sane one, I thought Douglas was the only last common sense gay
Hey. I am just curious why do u support Israel.
Geopolitics has become a very complex matter so would love if u help me.

There is a very big difference to the views of the current Israeli regime and a large percentage of jews world wide, your comments make no sense.
