It’s because they do not recognize Israel as a country and that all of Israel is Palestine and should be an Islamic country. The thing is Palestine never actually existed. It was a region which also included modern Syria, Jordan, and Israel. It was called that by the Roman Empire and there for only Europe. Locally it was never called Palestine until 1967. Gaza currently has no Israelis living in it and haven’t since about 2006 when Israel left and removed all Israeli citizens leaving the rest to do whatever they wanted. So they chose to elect a terrorist organization into power who has not done a single thing for their people except make them hate Jews more and put them in harms way.
As someone who lives in Israel, the most obvious thing is that if someone enters Nablus or almost anywhere under the control of the Palestinian Authority, and it doesn't matter if he is a baby or an old man, the only chance he gets out of there is in a box full of organs, and even that requires a lot of luck (it happened so many times and ended in disaster). And if a Palestinian enters Israel (something that happens every day when hundreds of thousands enter to work here and other things) nothing will happen to him, at most they will ask him at the checkpoint where he is going.
Many of the younger Palestinians seem to directly associate Israelis with the only Israelis they interact with which are either IDF soldiers or the hilltop youth that live in local settlements. The idea that there are peaceful Israelis that don't want to harm or take their land seems foreign in their minds judging by how some of them answer. The older gentlemen probably did get that positive exposure b/c they all speak as if they would be completely okay with it since they have probably had friendships or relationships with Israelis.
@@ef2718 No they definitely don't, and I grew up here the first 10 years of my life. They encounter them in Areas C and B where they're constantly attacked and harassed by Kahanist settlers. Or like in my village recently, when they burn down your entire block and everyone's livelihood as a revenge attack for something you not even close to being associated with. I live in the West now and I still have not met a single Israeli that tells me my people don't exist and that we should be pushed out of our cities and villages. That's why I really enjoy Corey's videos - it's a side I never got to ever witness. Now imagine the people that live there still.
But I am a descendent of Oklahoma settlers who took land that definitely did not belong to our forefathers. I feel like I'm not entitled to speak on the subject, but obligated nonetheless Israel/palestine should look to what has become of Oklahoma and the indigenous tribes as an example
Arabs go into Israeli areas unhindered, but an Israeli risks harm or death to go to Arab areas. They don’t seem to see the problem with that, but blame Israel.
What? You think Palestinians go into Israel unhindered...that they ever did? No. That has never been the case. Have you heard of the Israeli Settlements in the West Bank? How do you think they get that land? Asking politely? Of course many Palestinians are anxious and disturbed by Israelis coming around.

I traveled by plane once. I had to go through a humiliating checkpoint. They had me put all my stuff in a tray and looked at it through x-ray, as if I meant to harm anyone. Hundreds of thousands of Israelis visit the Palestinian Authority every weekend. But *only* Israeli Arabs (Arabs with Israeli citizenship). Not Israeli Jews. @beslanintruder2077 Okay, if Jews are so welcome, put on a Kippah and Tzittzit and walk down a street in Jenin, or Nablus, or Tulkarm. See how many seconds you can't count before you're lynched, stabbed, spat on, or verbally harassed.
The original and biblical name of "Nablus" is *Shechem.* The term Nablus is an European colonial add on from the Romans who wanted to erase the Jewish connection to the land. (It didn't work for them :) The Romans also called *Jerusalem,* our eternal capital - "Aelia Capitolina". And they renamed our ancestral homeland - *Judea* to "Syria Palaestina".
The roman emperor Vespasianus ordered to build a new city, Flavia Neapolis, west of Shechem. Once Arabs invaded the word neapolis was corrupted into nablus, given the consonant P does not exist in Arabic and is replaced by B.
It comes from the word "Nio Polis" meaning New City, the Arabs can not pronounce the P sound, so it became Niobolis, Nibolis, Niabolis, Nablis, Nablus.

I am a Canadian of South Korean descent, a convert to Judaism to be formalized when the war in Israel ends, G-d willing. In 2016 when I visited Israel for the first time, I walked up the road leading to the summit of the Mount of Olives and was nearly run over by a Palestinian driver, after which I entered a village near the summit and was confronted by an angry Palestinian man who forcefully told me to leave the area. Not friendly at all. I walked through the muslim quarter of the old city and was lightly assaulted and humiliated/mocked by two young Palestinian sanitation workers as I passed by in a narrow street, and then in another incident three or four screaming Palestinian children nearly attacked me as I walked near a gate leading to Temple Mount. Not friendly at all. The following year I returned to Temple Mount and was literally frisked by a plain-clothed Jordanian Waqf officer who asked me if I was a ninja near the Dome of the Rock and was finally escorted off because I closed my eyes for about three seconds while sitting down in a shady area farther away. Not friendly at all and rather racist. I was ripped off by over 70 shekels by a Palestinian restaurant worker who gave the the wrong change and then acted like it was okay to rip off tourists. Not friendly at all. When I first entered a taxi in Yerushalayim the Palestinian driver was angrily talking anti-Israel garbage to me non-stop, stopped the taxi as we approached Lion's Gate, let some random Palestinian guy on the street interrogate me, demanding that I tell him where I was from and why I wanted to go to Lion's Gate. Not friendly at all. The Palestinians are clearly not the rightful residents of the land, treating peaceful tourists with such contempt; meanwhile, when one reads the Torah, it is written clearly to love the foreigner many times. I was treated by Jews with fairness and love like a fellow citizen and I was not cheated or harmed by anyone. Many Jews, complete strangers, helped me around Tel Aviv and Yerushalayim, offered me bread to eat and chat. It was Shavuot and a Jewish stranger smiled and offered me delicious ice-cream as I was reading the book of Deuteronomy! That to me is proof that Jews are the rightful residents of Israel, the land created and owned by the G-d of Avraham, Yitz'chak, and Ya'akov. Jews treated me like one of them-- a fellow human being, with dignity, justice, and love. The Third Temple will be a place of worship for ALL people from ALL nations, not like the current unjust status quo upheld by the muslims which restricts worship and prayer to muslims only. Not friendly at all.
Speaking on being ripped off - I bought a simple lemon and mint juice from a vendor in the Muslim quarter, handed him 100 shekels thinking I’d get 70 shekels back and he gave me no change. I wasn’t in the mood to argue but I paid him close to $30 for a simple juice.

National and ethnic identities do not require independence/ a nation-state in order to manifest. A people could be a perpetual minority and still be a people. Also, as far as their being "Jordanian" is concerned, just because they may have once identified this way does not mean they now do. Look at North Macedonia for example. Macedonian (Slavic) being an identity unique from the Bulgarian one came about under similar circumstances. Finally, saying they should "move back" to Jordan because they lost lands to Israel is a take that disregards any respect for humanity's connection to a place, a concept which Israeli Jews often cite as their reason for returning to the Levant.

For those of you that don't know, the Ottoman Land Registry of 1858 - 1871 showed only 13% of the land as privately owned. The British Land Survey of 1945 showed that the *Palestinian farmers only owned 3.3% of the land.* (The local farmers were Fellahins (tenant farmers), not lands owners, they worked like serfs on the land and owed the landowners money after each growing season. They were poor, and owned little. The wealthy absentee Arab land holders owned 16.5% of the land. The Jews owned 8.6% of the land. And, 70% of the land was State Land, transferred from the Ottomans, to the British, and then to Israel. Israel was created by almost 80% of non-Arab owned lands.
So the very same land which was unattainable to the the indigenous Arabs by the colonizing ottomans was then transferred over to the British protectorate who had promised the Zionists that they would carve up a piece of Palestine form them via Sykes-Picot agreement. In short - the indigenous Arabs never got a chance to touch any of this "private" land which was then turned public for Jews when Israelis acquired it from the ottomans. Interesting take. By this argument we could also claim that tte indigenous of Australia and Canada were poor because they also didn’t own their land.

The original and biblical name of "Nablus" is *Shechem.* The term Nablus is an European colonial add on from the Romans who wanted to erase the Jewish connection to the land. (It didn't work for them :)
The Romans also called *Jerusalem,* our eternal capital - "Aelia Capitolina".

▪︎The former Ottoman lands?
▪︎ The expired British Mandate?
▪︎ The illegally annexed Jordanian land?
▪︎ The land won by Israel from Jordan in a defensive war?
*What is this occupation they speak of?* If the land that was held by Jordan is "their land" then they are Jordanian and should move back to the border.

In 1948, the future Israelis, under pressure and militarily weak, accepted yet another compromise by agreeing to divide the remaining quarter of Palestine in two. The rest is history. Before the Oslo Accords Israelis used to go into Arab towns for shopping all the time & Arabs had much more freedom to enter Israel. & many more worked in Israel. Sadly, since Rabin was duped by Arafat into thinking he wanted peace & invited PLO terrorists into the country, due to security concerns there are more restrictions.
I'm jewish, I defend israel, but you forgot some some context. The arabs in the westbank and gaza lived under the israeli military occupation, without citizenship and without civil rights. That situation lasted with tense calm for 20 years, from 67 to 87, then the arabs started the first intifada. What other choice did Rabin have?
What kind of argument is that? It's a bad situation, so the only option is to make it much worse?
Palestine is the homeland of the Palestinians
Joojles- before Israel gained Gaxa and the West Bank in wars started by Arab countries, Gaza was occupied by Egypt and the West Bank by Jordan.
The difference in those controlling the areas - religion.
Joolee - Israel does not restrict civil rights in Gaza or the West Bank; Hamas and Abbas do respectively. Both Hamas and Abbas could hold elections but don't.
In terms of border control, most-all countries have some type.
The checkpoints are a result of attacks on Jewish communities.

I wonder how you feel about that statement now under these new circumstances.
by their answers, they sound very very selfish.

The Roman Empire conquered us Jews 2000 years ago and sent us Jews into forced exile
Secondly, you Arabs in Israel walk all over Israel in Jewish mountains, work in shopping malls, choose in Israeli elections even representatives in the Israeli government and even mountain chiefs, but Jews like me in Israel cannot enter an Arab village in Israel even though it is a Jewish city like Hebron where King David and the tribe of Joshua lived and our ancestors were buried there If I, as a Jewess, went to an Arab village, kill me, but if you Arabs walk around the mall in my city, no one says anything to you or does anything to you. This is discrimination on religious and racial grounds. You Muslim Arabs are racist and anti-Semitic.

@@w8rdy32 And forgot this: you are right. I watched this a second time and indeed there were several people who were in various degrees, OK with Israeli Jews visiting. I remember before the antifadas , Israelis and Arabs would move freely in all cities both Jewish and Arab , there was a lot of commerce and lots of local Arabs worked in high paying jobs in Israel . The antifadas changed all that. Jews had to take measures to protect themselves from violence.
Pre Hamas war, some Thursdays (and sometime in the muslim holidays) I would meet many people from the west bank on the beach of Jaffa, they would have busses take them for a day at the beach and at the end of they the they returned home. I met and spoke to many women from Ramallah and even with some man. but it seems they would never accept the fact that we, Israelis, are here. I don't believe in co-existence, it's just not possible. a two state solution? maybe, but as for now, I feel no hope for peace on this land.
Kind of tough being from a culture that rejects multi-culturalism in a land that requires it.
Why do these people have so much hate in their hearts
Because their land was stolen, they were kicked out of their homes, and many were raped and killed. Israel came into the Palestinian Territories that remained after the war and built housing settlements on hills surrounding the Palestinian villages. They built military checkpoints all throughout the West Bank to stifle movement and cut people off from family, friends and jobs. They also built a big wall to keep them inside. They control their water, electricity and don't allow them to have an airport. They chop down their olive groves, demolish their homes, and kill or imprison innocent people.

They exist of course. The question is whether they affect anything and how many there are...
Just in the beginning of 2023 In German tourists visiting Israel came accidentaly to a Palestinian city Nablus, their were in an shared car with Israeli license plate. Miraculously they were able to escape and run away, their car was completely destroyed...
Once again, these people were NOT Israelis, Jews... These were ordinary tourists from Germany.
P.S. It’s worth noting, they were actually helped by a Palestinian who was able to take them away and save them (a Palestinian with Israeli citizenship)!

To Israelis he says he's Canadian because they recognize his accent.
