I was playing a ROM hack of SMW, where one of the levels (a bonus level) had a baby Yoshi AND an underground section w/ lava. Like the evil person I am, I threw baby Yoshi into the lava, and, he was floating on top of the LAVA. I tried to spin jump on the yoshi, but I went right through and died.

Speaking of Christmas, I actually got a Switch with Mario Maker 2, Pokemon Sword, Luigis Mansion 3 and Astral Chain (the last one I bought myself though).
