    Note: The photo that I used twice in the video is not actually Karl Diebitsch (the one with the full SS uniform on). It’s quite confusing because when you search online for his name, this is one the photos that comes up multiple times and it does look like him. But I have just found out that it is actually Josias, Hereditary Prince of Walden and Pyrmont (thanks for Mark Felton’s video). So the photo claims to be both of them online, but it’s actually Josias, Hereditary Prince of Walden and Pyrmont. I’VE ADJUSTED THE THUMBNAIL TO INCLUDE AN ACTUAL PHOTO OF KARL DIEBITSCH IN UNIFORM.

      Yes! That is the Prince of Walden, but i believe it is Karl Diebitsch you see in the video at 2.09 to 2.14.

      If only other country spend more of their money and time into designing a uniform,I'm pretty sure there would be hundreds of new uniform that could outclass the SS uniform...but I guess stylish uniform is useless in battlefield,take more time to manufacture and very expensive...

      @@steelhelmetstan7305 🤣🤣It’s a bloody pain, honestly it might not seem like it but the whole process of making a 3-6 minute video takes around 4-5+ hours. Nevermind, the one I’m working on currently about the Wehrpass which has already taken 5 hours to translate the contents, before I’ve even started filming and editing, mainly due to the impossible to translate handwriting in it (some of which I cannot even translate) 😅. But it’s worth it when people enjoy watching the videos.

    So the fact the SS allgemiene uniform is just a black M36 tunic with fancy cuffs is what? Because those tunics were an evolution of ealier German uniforms. This guy didnt design anything.

    • @OrnumCR
      @OrnumCR 8 месяцев назад +1

      Well…he did…and it’s recorded fact. You can dispute it all you like but both men did ‘hone and polish’ the ‘earlier’ uniform styles to arrive at the Allgemeine ensemble and its associated regalia. That then morphed into the later gray style used from 1938. It’s the same reason Hitler and the Party used Speer for the architecture that he arrived at. The projection of power and control.
