Great video. Whilst I’ve never served in the military, thanks for your service by the way, I can totally relate to the use of dark humour as a coping mechanism. I worked in our amazing NHS as an Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic for 13 years, and sometimes the only way you can get through the day is with the support of amazing colleagues and a large dose of dark humour. Really enjoying the channel. Keep up the great work 👍
@MyNameWasTecho Thank you mate. I'm so glad to hear that you guys use the same coping mechanism, it is as you say, the only way to get through it. I bet that was damn tough mate, it seems like your work must have been literally life and death. I'm made up your enjoying the channel mate. It's been really fun to share all of this stuff.
G'day Joe, It's great to hear that you changed your theft and drug habbits, particularly at such a young age, & that you made up your own mind about it all. Keep up the good work Andrew
Great tales amigo! You can definitely do "Tales from the Joe" as a side channel and that would be awesome! Feel free to steal that idea too. I look forward to seeing more of you and hearing your effects. 😎👍✨
@gringogreen4719 Thank you mate I really appreciate that. Great idea by the way! I certainly have enough random tales to be able to find more than a few episodes ha ha.
@@hellosailoreffectsofficial I am actually a Military Brat, my folks were in the US Air Force and I grew up hearing all sorts of tales from many people . It's definitely something I miss as a civilian. I definitely look forward to hearing more stories. 😅👍✨
Great story mate, love how you turned things around and (in my opinion) are making some of the best effects pedals on the planet 💪🏻❤️ will always support you when I can
@@hellosailoreffectsofficial can’t complain mate, wouldn’t change anything if I did, lol. In all seriousness, things are good; work, kids, band…can’t complain about that.
Enjoyed this mate. Quite a colourful past! I knew you were from round these parts, I’m up in Waterloo and filmed some of my videos in the old St Mary’s primary in Bootle
Ha ha ha I'm sure they are all long enough ago for them not to care. I'm actually surprised with how far through the video people are actually watching!
@AlexHall-m4r Not sure I would describe the Navy as poxy but thank you. I do need to concentrate on pedals much more now. To be fair that's exactly what @glynnunn3908 is always saying.
