Metra F59 Compilation

Here is a video I made of Metra F59PH and F59PHIs I've filmed over summer of 2022. The F59PH's are former Go Transit units and the F59PHI's are former Amtrak Pacific Surfliner and Cascade units. Locations include River Grove, Franklin Park, Elmhurst, Willow Springs, and Ogilvie Transportation Center.

It’s cool to see the F59s still earning their keeps on the rails. I’ve never seen one but I’d say it would be worth going to Illinois just to see them.

The first F59PHI locomotives were used by Amtrak now replaced by SC44 chargers
