- On March 16, 2001 Annika Sorenstam carded a 59 in the second round of the Standard Register Ping at Moon Valley in Phoenix, Arizona. It's the only sub-60 round in LPGA Tour history. On the 15th anniversary, Sorenstam reflects back on her round, sharing what the day meant to her, what she would have done differently and the experience of playing alongside her sister, Charlotta.

I was there that day caddying for another player. We heard the roars and new something special was happening.
Still got my caddie uniform from that week. Also caddied for Mrs Solheim that Wednesday during the pro-am. I was donating my caddie fee to Hospice, so she paid me twice. Once for me and the other to Hospice. What a sweetie...❤ when she made the put on 18, the ground shook...😊😊

She is as gracious as they come. I played in a Pro-Am with her - quite a thrill and enhanced by her friendliness, her helpful hints about the game and her genial manner. An All-Star for all time.

Men or women….she is right up there in greatness.
God she was so fucking good...I've learned so much more from her playing than some of the guys...honestly the guys hit it just too far, it's a different game...the way she plays out holes makes more sense to me
