He might be the only player to do it with a bogey on #1, but IIRC, only 4/10 of the 59's (or maybe all sub-60 rounds so including the 58) have been bogey free. What is also impressive is that he made par on 2 & 3, so he went -12 for 15 holes after that point.
Billy Horschel seems like he’d be a lot of fun to have in a group of players. Every video I’ve seen him in, he’s super supportive of other players’ success. Seems like he’s a competitor for sure but still has lots of fun playing golf!
I love hearing Horschel throughout these clips. Even though Horschel can have a bit of a temper sometimes, he does seem to be a pretty positive and encouraging guy with other players. Even when he does get his temper up, it seems he directs his frustration at himself rather than pointing it outward at his caddie or others (unlike some players on the tour).
made 2 sloppy mistakes so you right could have been 57 but the hole out and some of the long puts could have laso missed, even when Jim shot 58 he left 2-3 out there for perfect round
I played my local Sunday comp with a tour pro the other week. He hit every green in reg and then he'd come and help me look for my ball each time. Such a champ he must have hated it.
A really tradesman like round. It's interest to see how easy it can get for good players to put a great rounds together when they take advantage of their lucky breaks. Amazingly, the round had a boggy in it.
Well after the dew laden 9 hole start, the back nine was just superb and could have been a 26 / 58. Not a Brandt fan but, top-Snedeker-tastic round. well done Brandt. 👍🏻
Though 59 is amazing, imagine what could've been..the dude bogeyed the first hole, was even par after four; missed a very short putt on the 17th, but made a pressure pack putt on the 18th for a 59..glad he did it, one of the nicest fella on the PGA//
Wow people only care about saying the video was trash it wasnt bad had a couple extra clips but it happens by mistake....that round of golf was a beauty to watch to come up huge after a bogey on first hole
If that was all 59 shots, then you might want to put an asterisk beside his name in the record books because he apparently didn't hit a tee shot on #12, no putts at all on #15, and no 2nd putt on 17. I guess maybe he just didn't wanna tee off on #12 so he just dropped it on the green, then maybe didn't feel like putting that short one on #17 so they called it a gimme. Anything can happen. Anyway, I guess it can be overlooked because he apparently putted out twice on two of the holes. Seriously, who thinks this stuff up and doesn't think anyone is gonna call them out for their inaccurate descriptions?
Jeremy Morris and do you feel better now? The pga tour showing coverage for free is going to be showing better coverage because some dbag told them off?
I could ask the same of you. Do you feel better for posting that asinine comment? I see you didn't refute anything I said because it was all true. Bottom line, the PGA Tour posted a misleading title and description with their video. Doesn't take a PhD to figure that out.
I agree with you that the title is misleading. A better title would have been almost every shot of his round. Or virtually every shot of his round with possible errors. But that kind of seems stupid dont you think? . What would be better is to not take every youtube videos title so seriously that you hold them to some weird oath of journalistic integrity. And stop taking yourself so seriously that you feel the need to call out someone giving you free stuff in a goofy narcissistic way.
If someone walked up to me on the street and handed me $10 and said, "Here ya go, have $100 on me!", I'd still look at them like they were goofy and tell them that it was only $10. You know, after I put it in my pocket.
Wow, what a round. Amazing he shot -4 on the front when his ball striking was pretty shakey, but made a lot of long putts. Back 9 he was on firing on all cylinders, ball striking and putting.
There have been 10 rounds of 59 in PGA tour history. 6 of them teed off on the back 9 (Geiberger, Snedeker, Thomas, Furyk, Chappell, Beck). I reckon that the reason is the psychology of "starting again" on the first tee taking the pressure off (a bit).
Half the guys tee off on number 10. 6 out of 10 isnt a mathematical anamoly. It fits well within the range of normal for a sample size if 10. If there were 100 rounds of 59, and 80 of them teed off the back, then you might have a point.
jarryjohnny, Really!? You didn't notice the double ups? 1:45 > 2:01 is the same footage as 2:02 > 2:18, and there is another double up again later in the vid. These kind of mistakes should never happen, unless the editor is new and no one is checking their work.
Hey PGA TOUR... You reading the comments on this video? Lots of free and good advice on how to improve this channel in there. A clue as to what you should be looking for? Hmmm, well it all has to do with more videos like this. Oh, you figured it out? You'll post more like this in the future? Awesome! Ok, i'm glad we've had this talk.
I watch this video like once a month. Just to remind me that I can shoot 59 at my home course even with a bogey on the first LOL. That hole out Eagle did help him a ton. all things considered he just threw darts on his 2nd 9
brandt face when he saw that early tee time, 😋 no tiger crowd, cool weather, soft greens, former event winner, know the track, 30th in points (dam good season) annnnd, a nice unique hand thingy preshot. welcome to the "59" club, seems a lot of unorthodox people in that club. now everyone trying that thumb off trick 😂😂😂😂😂
Robert Davis .... cool, and yessss, I was in my garage trying it, lol. it reliefs some serious tension in the hands, but that would take serious practice to groove it, because you definitely can feel loss of control in the take away, but it loads up well and brings some speed to the ball
I don’t notice it. I just do it. It’s not something I think about. I’m a feel player (0 handicap) and to me it feels weird if I leave my hands on the grip too long without moving my hands. I think it’s from powerlifting
Robert Davis ... sounds like you actually have better fingers than hands lol... I'm a hand guy, jumbo grips and all just to feel it in my hands, when I tried that thumb off, I could definitely tell it's a finger action. nice cap' ... O and that thumb action definitely has to be done with a good swing.
You'd normally think a 59 has to be perfect AND some bonuses. He was +1 through 3, didn't eagle either par 5 and missed a 6 footer on 17. The jarred 7 iron was a bonus, but man, crazy round.
When he started with a dodgy bogey I thought how can this be a 59? And he missed a couple of makeable puts too, could've been a 57!, unbelievable golf, his swing is so calm just now, lovely to watch.
Wow..!!! I am amazed by these people who don't seem to be affected by bad shots. I am ok till I make bad shots. Then I spiral down. Mental toughness on display here..!!
Starts a 59 with a bogey. There's a lesson there for all of us.
yeah, that I'm about to go on an 8-hole birdie run after every bogey :)
Maybe I can shoot a 79 with my double bogey start.
Yes, that’s very inspiring and would set up for a great short film. This gentleman had a phenomenal career.
The lesson is Don't start with a bogey or you'll shoot 59 instead of 58.
just like jon rahm winning the masters after starting with a 4 putt/double bogey
That eagle on 6 is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen someone do in golf. Sick round
Dude shot a 59... with a bogey to start? That has to be the only person to do that.
He is.
TruthAlwaysWins Shooting 27! on the second nine is a fantastic score... Hell, I'd kill for that on a PAR 3 course
Dexter Morgan you're lying about who you are why would we believe that you DID IT?!
I believe him
He might be the only player to do it with a bogey on #1, but IIRC, only 4/10 of the 59's (or maybe all sub-60 rounds so including the 58) have been bogey free.
What is also impressive is that he made par on 2 & 3, so he went -12 for 15 holes after that point.
Thank you PGA Tour. This is the video we’ve been wanting for months. Even if it’s only for this video, thanks for doing this.
thought you were banned my guy lmao
lol I've seen all of those videos of yours. Just earned a sub
Avid Sports Video earned my sub
Billy Horschel seems like he’d be a lot of fun to have in a group of players. Every video I’ve seen him in, he’s super supportive of other players’ success. Seems like he’s a competitor for sure but still has lots of fun playing golf!
Love the sportsmanship at the end when the other players are congratulating him! Well done!
Yeh Billy Horschal (sp?) looks genuinely delighted for him
The way Snedeker rolled the ball in this round is truly special. Masterful stuff.
Thought I had been click baited after watching the first 3 holes. but damn nice iron play and putting Brandt!
Marco Wiederaenders me too. 😮
This channel needs to hire new editors.
Navid literally
Lol go watch the golf in person if you are that salty of getting free videos.
kleahy3 or how they repeated the same sequence twice in 2 different parts of the video!
for real. This is trash
This channel needs to hire new editors.
Sendeker: “Why is it going right!?!”
Reality: two feet right.
That’s the difference between pros and amateurs.
12:24 word yeah so just edit out his reaction and everything. MAN this channel blows
Max Heithmar they ain't even reading the comment section either so they know what n where they can improve on lol
ruclips.net/video/MYq-ErzwOEI/видео.html
12:10 Incredible shot. A shame he couldn't see just how amazing it turned out.
And a couple extra shots too!
His reaction made it , thats how you react to a 59 - roar like a champion !
Couple of replays... No biggie, fun to watch
Horschel's encouraging comments were great. What a true sportsman.
Great to see the other players congratulate him at the end
Kudos to the greens keeper. Played this course and February and they lost the greens due to frost. Those greens ran very true. Sned! Well Done!
This reminds me of that round I shot at my club all those years ago. How time flies
He holes out..doesn't know it..and the editor decided we didn't need to see his reaction when he finally finds out..pathetic....
He's swinging the club as well as I've ever seen and his putting is ridiculous, great combination!
I think about this round all the time when I start off a little rough. Incredible round
This reminds me. . .I've been wanting to watch "Groundhog Day" for quite a while, quite a while.
This channel knows how to leave people wanting more.
Great video! More full rounds please. So much better than watching so-called "highlight" videos that are 90 % putts.
@1:44 I'm beginning to worry about my short-term memory...
@2:02 I'm beginning to worry about my short-term memory...
lmao
One of the commentators sounds like Alex Jones trying not to sound like Alex Jones
Could've been a 57 😳😳😳
Could've been an 18 if he'd have holed each tee shot. I'm guessing he's stoked to have carded a 59.
Could’ve been a +1 if he would have lipped out every birdie putt and not hole out. There’s a better and worse to every round
Nah, still would have been -1 since he holed out from the fairway for eagle on one hole.
made 2 sloppy mistakes so you right could have been 57 but the hole out and some of the long puts could have laso missed, even when Jim shot 58 he left 2-3 out there for perfect round
Could have been a 60.
Wow! This is a good reminder for all golfers whose first drive goes into the woods and leads to a bogey - The best may still lie ahead :)
Specially if you can find it when you only brought one ball
I'll take a bogey
I love how this round starts with a bogey. Just mind boggling. Talk about turning it around. Nearly eagles 15 too.
Videos keep getting better and better but you should be able to get this round in about 10 minutes as European tour does!
Jesus PGA.. how can your editing be so poor
mark, have you thought about radio you have the face and accent for it. what is your background other than the one and done trevor.
They are showing his shots and reactions. How is it poor? Probably dont live and think about RUclips 24/7 like you
Ryan Slater because it is supposed to be showing all of his shots in order. All the holes ate out of order and it shows some shots twice
Daniel Russell then they should hire you. Tell them you are dedicated to the RUclips lifestyle and nothing gets passed you.
They also show some of the shots twice, not showing Sneds reaction to holing out for eagle, etc. I just feel like they could do better.
The consistency that every golfer dreams of
I never realized how slow and smooth Sneds swing was.
The soundtrack playing in his head was the cicadas singing.
Good to see Sneds back in action
So glad he won this tournament! Big Fan! Go Sneds!
Such a smooth swing
@ 15:07 "..you can hear the train come'n." wow! Snedz fire'n ironz!
Caught that too. Commentators really doing their job.
What an awesome round! Congrats!!
I played my local Sunday comp with a tour pro the other week. He hit every green in reg and then he'd come and help me look for my ball each time. Such a champ he must have hated it.
Can we give Massive props to the cameraman for the hole out eagle. Great tracking widened perfectly caught the whole thing; can't ask for more
Love when he putts he pats the green to ensure he didn’t leave a mark. Class
A really tradesman like round. It's interest to see how easy it can get for good players to put a great rounds together when they take advantage of their lucky breaks. Amazingly, the round had a boggy in it.
Pretty cool that Sneds and Furyk, two short hitters, are in the history books with 59, 58 during the bomber era.
What an epic achievment! A unique playing style just like Furyk (who shot a 58 two years ago).
Jeez he was throwing darts with his irons. Amazing.
Well after the dew laden 9 hole start, the back nine was just superb and could have been a 26 / 58. Not a Brandt fan but, top-Snedeker-tastic round. well done Brandt. 👍🏻
His swing is so smooth
Is it, no it can’t be, no way. A decent highlight reel
Though 59 is amazing, imagine what could've been..the dude bogeyed the first hole, was even par after four; missed a very short putt on the 17th, but made a pressure pack putt on the 18th for a 59..glad he did it, one of the nicest fella on the PGA//
Can’t imagine what could of been in golf, heard it soo many times
Awesome golf from sneds well done you

PGA Tour is giving you free content so deal with it Jeremy. I'm with you on this Rich.

59 shots (missing some and replayed others) ....great round...putting stroke working for me too now

Someone needs to check the editor/s work, because seemingly, they are incompetent.
What did he do wrong? Seemed ok to me???
jarryjohnny,

Thank you for notifying us.
Also the title says "Every shot ...", but on 2 Par 3's we only saw the putting.
Always dreamed of jarring a shot in on the fly and damaging the cup.... Still dreaming 🏌️
Yes this is what we need

Yells “I pulled it”. Lands 10 feet from the hole and birdies it lol
The putt on 9 is so clutch
Billy looks fun to golf with.
Amazing love his Routine and putting style
Dear PGA Live, please let the ball land on the tracker before cutting away. I want to see how far they hit it. Thanks!
Back 9: beast mode enabled
to say 32 isnt 'beast mode'
This guy will win the US Open one day, mark my words
I shot a 59 today!! On the front 9 at old orchard country club.
Not every shot!
Thank you
brandt face when he saw that early tee time, 😋
no tiger crowd,
cool weather,
soft greens,
former event winner,
know the track,
30th in points (dam good season)
annnnd,
a nice unique hand thingy preshot.
welcome to the "59" club, seems a lot of unorthodox people in that club. now everyone trying that thumb off trick 😂😂😂😂😂
KING SHARK I’ve had that same thing before every shot and literally never noticed until someone pointed it out to me
Robert Davis .... cool, and yessss, I was in my garage trying it, lol.
it reliefs some serious tension in the hands, but that would take serious practice to groove it, because you definitely can feel loss of control in the take away, but it loads up well and brings some speed to the ball

nice cap' ... O and that thumb action definitely has to be done with a good swing.
I can’t use jumbo grips. They make me grab the club during the swing. I use standard everything pretty much. Loft, length, lie angle, grip size.
You'd normally think a 59 has to be perfect AND some bonuses. He was +1 through 3, didn't eagle either par 5 and missed a 6 footer on 17. The jarred 7 iron was a bonus, but man, crazy round.
It sure didn’t look like 59 the first few holes. What a round. Just shows you the importance of one shot at a time and forgetting the bad holes.
Awesome Round. Can't blame then too bad for the pair of duplicate cuts. I would have been in hurry to get this one out too.
Golfe e' um Show de bola .
He was a rookie in 2009?! I swear he’s been on the tour for 30 years
When he started with a dodgy bogey I thought how can this be a 59? And he missed a couple of makeable puts too, could've been a 57!, unbelievable golf, his swing is so calm just now, lovely to watch.
Good lord heart pounding at the 17th even though I knew he’d do it on 18...
I thought they posted the wrong vid when I watched his first few holes.
Wow..!!! I am amazed by these people who don't seem to be affected by bad shots. I am ok till I make bad shots. Then I spiral down. Mental toughness on display here..!!
Has he had a better round since that day? Snedeker is clutch!!
larryjohnny since that day? This was only 4 days ago
Need longer videos like Euro tour
So remember kids, after the driving range...practice your putting !!!
Plus the Double Eagle that he wasn't aware that it went in.
1430 pga tour
Brandt is a good dude
Damn I can’t believe that round started with a bad tee shot and a bogey.
What does the green logo with the trophy and the number represent?
lol the "Quiet" guy having the easiest day of his life, silencing the birds singing in the trees I suppose xD
WOW he had a 58 in the bag save for the bogey on his first hole - 10th!
Don't you have people watching the videos before they are uploaded?
Just.... wow.
Sweet! I'ma start my next round with a bogey just for Sneds :)
What happened on hole 6? Magically he was on the green putting for eagle
Awesome!
