Watching the pictures, I was wondering the interval, something like this takes a "LOT" of creativity squeezed out over time. Excellent work, thanks for the video.
that is a very great looking module. I am in the process of building some but I want to get more ideas and see what people have built. Thanks for sharing.
+CPRail43 Thanks Braedan! Maybe someday we will see a CPRail43 module at Big Valley? I'm sure theres lots of cool industries and trackage in Lethbridge that would be perfect for Free-mo modelling.
Fantastic work as always Ben! Love seeing modules come together. The detail and craftsmanship is amazing and something to be proud of. Thank you for sharing your work as it is an inspiration for us all! Ethan
It's always awesome to look back on the timeline of the module being built you worked so hard on this one and it looks awesome, also good luck on building the new layout I can't wait to watch you build it because I'm working on a new module now and I could use some of your tips while making it. -Ryan
+bigcreekcowboy Thanks Micheal! It is a neat little industry for sure, I've been photographing CP switchers around Red Deer for 4 or so years and still haven't got to see that yet.
+BArailsystem if you are looking at building your static grass applicator, I just finished mine from Luke towen's video with the negative ion generator. and let me tell ya..works WAY better than the cheapy fly swatter version. its the way to go for sure. just an FYI-Jay
Great collage of photos that nicely portrays this build! You can be proud of your work. Will you be using foam on new layout? If so, what thickness of plywood under it?
+Ken P Thanks Ken. Next layout I will probably use an elevated road bed on risers and then fill in the terrain with foam. Only the flat spots like a yard or something will be on a sheet of foam.
Thanks for sharing.... what did you use for the unloading pit?? I am also a new Model Railroader from the Wainwright area and building my home layout with CN roadname... Thanks.
+Dustin Mauws No problem Dustin. The pit is just carved into the plywood and the conveyor came from a Walthers cement facility kit. Right on man, I checked out the museum in Wainwright a couple years ago. They've got Doug Hole's model of the CN Cisco bridge there it's absolutely amazing.
+Brian Bui (CSX8900) Thanks Brian. You bet I will keep going with the videos, should lots of content to share with you guys for years to come as its going to be a fairly large layout.
Great build Ben! Ron Your module measurements are 26 X 60 inches. Are the ends 6 " wide plus the 3/4 " top OR 6" wide including the 3/4" top? Secondly, are the ends 26" wide including the 1/8 " hardboard siding on each side OR 26" wide plus the 1/8 " hardboard siding? Ron
It's a great looking module! Very impressed with the level of craftsmanship. I saw that you had a turnout control/indicator on the inside of the module. Did you custom make that or does a company make that? Again, very clean construction, so thanks for sharing! -Cam
The bins are children's "S" scale farm toys made by Friesen plastic products. The buildings are scratchbuilt and kitbashed from styrene, floral foam, PVC conduit and parts from a Walthers cement facility and road to rail facility.

+railfan220 Thanks Cam. Yes there is a turnout push button control switch on each side of my module. They are made by Sinalogic Systems.
very nice. no foam or gator board? straight to the wood top?
+Thomas Tate Thanks Thomas, yes just cork straight on the plywood.
+BArailsystem ok cool. cant wait for the new layout design.
Can you tell me where you got the adjustable feet, and plans for the legs? I have 3 modules made, but never settled on the leg design. Thanks.
Very cool
+RB Railfan Thanks!
