A progressive economist in the US says regularly, "Socialism for the rich and Capitalism for the poor". He explained the bailouts of big businesses here in the US to perfectly back up this statement. At this moment in history we are seeing clearly who is really running our governments. Not we the people they are supposed to represent, but the elite, the 1%, big business, big money and a ruling class that we aren't supposed to see or recognize for what they are or what they are doing. Donations or bribery, call it what you will, our representatives have shown themselves to be for sale and have sold us all out in the process.

I am losing all hope, it feels like they can, have and will ride roughshod over any pretence of morality or accountability and just openly, blatantly partake in war crimes, funding genocide in our faces. To speak out is to be labelled a criminal and blacklisted… my heart has been breaking every day for months and even years and I don’t think I can take much more of it…

Between 2008 and 2015 in the UK, the Labour Party was blamed for causing the international credit crunch, Not sub-primes, but the British Labour Party!
The disappointing thing was that Labour didn't argue against this framing.
