Hi I know this isn’t related but I have a question. I bought the Ziip Halo per your recommendation and I would like to know if I can use a different gel than the one that came with the device. My skin felt irritated and was red after using the gel and halo for the first time. Is an aloe Vera gel ok to use ? Also do you wash your face before and after ? I try to limit washing my face bc I wash it a lot during the day. Thoughts ?
Hi I'm happy to help. Feel free to always ask any questions on any video even if not related. Now to your question... You can also use the ZIIP with pure Glycerin and add a pinch of salt to help w conductivity. Put the pure glycerin in a small bowl add about 8 pumps and a pinch of salt and use it for your treatment. I did this for years when the ZIIP only had the gold gel that was too expensive and also didn't work for my skin. I have very sensitive skin and only ZIIP gels that work for me are the Silver Gel and the Crystal Gel. The new gel that comes w the ZIIP also doesn't agree w my skin so i prefer the Silver gel in general but the Crystal gel is also amazing. Unfortunately you cannot use the ZIIP with any other gels that are not glycerin based like the ZIIP gel or pure glycerin because the ZIIP is a different type of microcurrent device and the current and waveforms on the ZIIP will only work with glycerin based gels such as the ZIIP gels or pure glycerin with a pinch of salt. To use the ZIIP you have to make sure to use it on a clean skin so make sure to wash the face before and use non oil based cleansers because oils interfere with conductivity. If you use the ZIIP silver gel you dont' have to wash it off and can remove the excess with a moist cloth. If you use Glycerin with a pinch of salt you have to wash your face after. The Artemis Mask is stronger than the Aduro Led mask since it is a professional level mask and the Aduro is a consumer level mask and that is why the price difference. The Artemis Mask also has the APP that can customize each color for a different face area. Since the Artemis is a professional mask you don't have to use the Artemis Mask as often since it's a professional level mask. However if you have the Aduro mask I honestly feel you don't need the Artemis Mask. You may have to use the Aduro mask more often to get the same results, but the Aduro mask has also a great quality and also offer many settings. That is why I mention that for the price the Aduro mask is a great value since it has similar setting than other more expensive consumer LED masks such as the Omnilux but also offers more colors and even combinations settings. Sorry I have been able to do the Artemis Mask challenge, I have been so behind my shootings this year since I have been so sick so often lately. Just getting over bronchitis. I honestly want to do a video with the Artemis Mask as a case study using in a professional level when I have clients and become an esthetician. I feel that would give a better idea of the differences using in a professional environment from someone coming once a week to get a facial as opposed to using it at home 5x a week as with consumer masks. I still don't have my esthetician license since I cannot afford the course now. but hopefully later this year I plan on doing it and I will for sure do the Artemis video using in a professional environment since I feel that where I will mostly use the Artemis Mask. Hi Yes I recommend the Aduro Mask over the Omnilux. The Aduro mask has 11 settings and also has the option to use pure red and the omnilux only has one option of Red with near-infrared and you cannot choose any options. The Aduro is also 10 mins treatment and I've been using for year and I have gifted to many friends and they all love it. I highly recommend for the price, quality and being so customizable.

I'm going to breakdown my thoughts on comparison : ) The settings for the eye mask sound close to the skin booster setting on the full face minus the fact that the eye mask has more power (65mw) and there are two additional wavelengths 630nm, 605nm (I don't know the science behind the effectiveness of these wavelengths). Also, the facemask supposedly has bulbs that are angled more specifically for the eyes. Would wearing the facemask that is 30mw for 10 minutes be comparable to wearing the eye mask that is 65mw for 3 minutes? If so, then the only difference between the eye and face mask is the angle of the bulbs and two additional light wavelengths. If you have any thoughts that would be super helpful! Lastly, why is there no contact info for Aduro and I also found it strange there are two website links myaduro.com/ and www.aduroled.com/product/aduro-led-eye-mask/ Thank you!
I wish they would be more forthcoming in their site. They don’t mention the precise wavelength, irradiance nor fluence for each light. Also, some of those led colors don’t really have any scientific backing. Thank you for providing the information you did though, I will email them to ask for more information to see if jts worth it and a good mask.

The luminance is comparable to the Omnilux mask which is more expensive and only has one color. ⭐Output Optical Power density: 30 mw/cm2 ⭐There are 66 LED lights with 3 chips each so we effectively use 198 diodes so the mask works so fast and strong. In addition, there are 20 infrared diodes so that the number of usable LEDs rises to 218 LEDs. Aduro have been around for over 14 years and they also are the manufacturers of many of LED medical devices for clinics. Their products are medical grade and clinically tested. I have been using this mask for years. I also have purchased many through the years to gift to my mother in law, my best friend, my mom and one aunt. And they still all love it. @@BrazilianGirlChannel I completely understand that you trust them but they should put all the information on their site, apart from including wavelength, they should also include at least irradiance (adding fluence would be great too). An LED mask can have a million led bulbs and a million colors but if the wavelengths and irradiance is not at the right levels then there’s no point.
