GLUTEN FREE & DAIRY FREE PANCAKES! TRIM HEALTHY MAMA!!

    Here is Trim Healthy Mama's Original Recipe!

    My Dairy Free Variation of this recipe:
    OMIT the cottage cheese.
    Set 1 1/2 cups of almond out on the counter until it reaches room temperature (for a speedy version, you can microwave it about 30 seconds!), add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and stir, let sit about 10 minutes until curdles begin to form. Add this to the rest of the original recipe. Also add 1/2 cup of protein powder of choice. Finish with the recipe as usual! Enjoy!
    ** DON'T FORGET TO MAKE THE BATTER THE NIGHT BEFORE TO SOAK! (I keep mine in the refrigerator)

    Yes! That is what I always do - make the batter the night before - it works so much better to make pancakes (or waffles). Such a great option - this recipe - for people with dietary restrictions! I LOVE pancakes!! 🥞😋 Thanks Shannon!!

    I love pancakes, I'm sure this would be a great recipe if one could not have dairy and/or gluten. I'm a firm believer that if you do not have an allergy or intolerance to a specific food/ingredient then nothing is truly unhealthy if eating it in moderation. But there are people because of certain illnesses who cannot have gluten and there are people with dairy allergies and/or who are lactose intolerant. This recipe would be good for those folks. It might even be good for someone who just wants the occasional variation to their pancakes.

    I normally just put butter and syrup on my pancakes. But occasionally, I like to put peanut butter on them still with syrup. I have a cousin who prefers to put jelly on his pancakes instead of syrup. I've never tried jelly on them, myself, but my weird cousin says it's delicious. ;)

    Excellent. I'm not a pancake fan but I appreciated your version. Is it a good idea to keep your batters overnight for all recipes?

    These look delicious, but I am not sure that I am willing to go through that much effort for pancakes. I mean, yours look better than the ones that I make, but I get impatient and try to get it done as quickly as possible.
