You're right. I've tried.
I blast it out the car!

We need to bring this genre back
Man, Listen more music PLEASE
This is what? 26 years old. Sounds fresh as it did in 96. I I was just 16 when this was released and I had a cassette that I played to death.
My teenage years were magical thanks to this guys and this songs... :D
MrMunive same now that I'm a teenager

@Sean Sterling Yup, have been watching on InstaFlixxer for since december myself :)
My teenage friend committed suicide in 2003, he was a fan of the placebo.. sometimes when i hear this song i remember him
i was physics student then ...last year i nominated with Nobel prize in physics ... i m still listening this album, fell in my bed and shaking like a drummer my hands!

listening to this fucking album late at night really hits differently... I want to cry but so happy at the same time
placebo feels like a special thing that no one i know knows about and that i can connect to and its amazing - sincerely a gen z
Such an underrated track - it’s the one track I constantly go back with so many memories attached.Simplicity this beautiful is so hard to achieve and that final hand muted part into the riff is still goose bump inducing after all these years
Such an underrated song the guitar is perfection
and simple
Drums are great too!
I'm a younger Gen Z kid and this song is still just amazing. It has helped me through some really tough times and I just feel so much better after listening to this album. Thank you to Placebo for being so awesome!!
Gentlemen the drumming in this song is outstanding!!!
And the production of John McIntire
All the rage and pain in a song!
harder faster......i feel youuuuu
I really luv to read the Placebo music comments, averybody pulls the heart out..
This sounds like a finishing song, like a credits song

Quarentena, presente!
X2
Fuck your "Quarentena". Fuck this shit! None of you can make the grade
So much passion and feeling in this song. I really feel that this is such an underrated band. They have real talent. They sing from the heart. This song has helped me get through so much stuff.! One can listen to it over and over again and never get tired of it!
I don't think they are underrated but kept as a secret by those who want to keep them all to ourselves :)
I'm curious what this song about the need to endlessly thrust got you through
▶️🎸🙋♂️🌟
It's not underated. It's one of the world famous band ever. They got the spot everytime the release a new album.
I was so into this band during late the 90's as a young teen. It is a pity not much is written about the massive influence they had during their peak.
Noticing some Smashing Pumpkings vibes over here
I can't thank these guys enough for pulling me out of the Brit pop ennui I was in in the 90s-thanks guys ❤️❤️❤️
Best song of the album!
this takes me back to my years living in death
deep shit
Deep indeed. Fantastic debut from Placebo, their best imo.
Lead riff is perfection
that bass is so sexy
I love coming back to this band, especially this album, every so often. Amazing
used to play this in my best friends car nonstop and she would play the drums to this with her drum sticks while driving . good memory
one of their BEST
Sometimes few words enough for perfect...
thank you for playing this at the US tour, we love ya.
Inspired by Sonic Youth, Placebo were a beautifully dark piece of perfection. I saw them live in Singapore in 1999. What a show, just before music died a horrible death.
Matt Hill hey man they came back 13 years later and I was there to see them play live! And I'd been looking for this song they played but couldn't find it. Very beautiful place this song would bring me to.
Do you mean their music? It's ridiculous to say music in general died after 1999
Liverpool, Black market music tour. Not their best music but still the best show I ever saw.
i can totally spot some sonic youth influence on that one
What songs?

this song i love it so much it has a good beat with the drums and the guitar
The best 5 opening songs to any album ever. And I'm 52, and heard a fair few albums. Can't believe I've lived my life over again since first hearing this album.
Perfección de principio a fin. Lagrimas....recuerdos
Que suerte haber vivido los '90s....
just see them play this at download festival , sent me back some 20 plus years , I had forgotten about this song
LOVE IT
Love that intro
Forever!
mY fAVORITE SONG EVERYTIME!!!!
When they chant 'None of you can make the grade' it always makes me think of some demonic human sacrifice around a fire pit.
Just makes me think of a sexually picky robot telling off prospective partners lol
SO GOOD !!!!

Damn the band used to be so damn good.
You're right to use the past... listening to their 3 first albums only
harder, faster, forever after
Sounds like a love letter to Sonic Youth...
I to jest kurwa sztos!!! To ja rozumiem
Im playing this at our wedding @mark😂😂😂😂 i love placebo
Such a shame, when they fired this drummer the style went totally poprock within 2 albums and ne er retained this purity on thier first 2 albums.. Great music.
God forbid they change and don't wallow forever into acoustic depression!
I think that's good actually, as good as they can be, if they keep on the same style over and over becomes repetitive and boring, eventually they'd suck.
And i tell you this as i dont like the 2 records after meds, the new album i loved it.
Bands tend to envolve as they get older.
also their feelings of teenage anger and stuff dissapears
