36 Degrees lyrics:
We were tight, but it falls apart as silver turns to blue
Waxing with a candlelight, and burning just for you
Allocate your sentiment, and stick it in a box
I've never been an extrovert, but I'm still breathing
Someone tried to do me ache
Someone tried to do me ache
Someone tried to do me ache (it's what I'm afraid of)
Someone tried to do me ache (it's what I'm afraid of)
With hindsight, I was more than blind, lost without a clue
Thought I was getting carat gold, and what I got was you
Stuck inside the circumstances, lonely at the top
I've always been an introvert
Happily bleeding
Someone tried to do me ache
Someone tried to do me ache
Someone tried to do me ache (it's what I'm afraid of)
Someone tried to do me ache (it's what I'm afraid of)
4 7 2 3 9 8 5 - I gotta breathe to stay alive
And 1 4 2 9 7 8 - feels like I'm gonna suffocate
14 16 22 - this skin that turns to blister blue
Shoulders toes and knees, I'm 36 degrees
Shoulders toes and knees,I'm 36 degrees
Shoulder toes and knees, I'm 36 degrees
Shoulders toes and knees, I'm 36 degrees
Shoulder toes and knees, I'm 36 degrees
Shoulder toes and knees, I'm 36 degrees - Видеоклипы
Real placebo fans know the chorus numbers
i got 141622 as my phones password LMFAOO my siblings remember it because every time they would ask for it i’d say “141621 skin that turns to blister blue”
Ha~ha of course!👍

142978,

placebo is the soundtrack of all adolescent depresive from 90s....
i love it
i was very lucky to have placebo's first two albums in my highschool years. that was very framing.
for all depros........but i like it
When your going through a lot of turmoil being a teenager, Plecebo's albums help!
Uff, Portishead, Suede, Tori Amos, Placebo, U2, Smashing Pumpkins, you could make a weeklong soundtrack with all the bands that live up to that description... Lots of depresive adolecents in that decade, me included. Depresive adolecents in doc martens.
Technically I was bipolar and mostly manic in my teens, and later diagnosed with BPD, but yes. Their songs were energetic and had enough of a mixture of emotions that they helped to quiet my mind. Now I’m much more stable, but their music reminds me of the relief I felt.
Placebo does not equal depressive, Placebo equals understanding
What a strong, timeless song. Been 20 years since I last heard it and got into Placebo, but it still hits home as hard as ever. Thank you for this beautiful piece of art.
I've always been an introvert - happily bleeding
What the fuck does that mean?
It means accepting the pain of being an introvert and also accepting what it brings... so someway you end up being happily bleeding... you bleed, but that's okay for you because the reason is who you are and what makes you different from other people... it's difficult to explain, but I'm sure that some people can understand properly what I'm saying because they experienced the thing
The blood of being happily bleeding because you are an introvert, the most beautiful and poetical blood in the world
@@ombrettalazzeri9951 exactly!
I feel you. 😥💔
Brian Crawford introverted people quiet, not getting acknowledged or being ostracized for not conforming in certain social ways
, like being the elephant in the room, bleeding
It won’t affect them that much physically, the bleeding, if the aren’t happy to do it , if they don’t mind and people try to confuse them and make them feel like they can’t it because the other people really can’t
The introvert will probably decay
Like an INFJ , or someone with full extroverted potential , idk much about that stuff
Being held back , putting the baby in the corner / coddling them, because people disagree with them, probably people much different then them , never being around people who understand them, the “introverted” /extrovert decays, Confuses Being around a bunch of people and whether their intent is good or bad, do these people want to do me ache break my heart?
It’s all in the song dude 😂
Just picture a golden child little potential prom king/ queen , radiant outgoing , parents find out there gonna be gay or something about their personality that they don’t agree with , coddle the kid and slowly everyone else’s impressions of who they are makes them decay to a point where even and especially there good looks /muscle strength aren’t enough to justify being treated with respect enough to value their uniqueness or whatever
It’s like being treated like you are submissive/ or masochistic or whatever people identify with, when you are a dominant extrovert in whatever way ,
Placebo are one of the most underrated bands I've ever heard. I've only ever met a few people here in the U.S. that know who they are. You just can't deny their talent. At least when the original members were still together.
I agree. I became a fan in 1999 when they played "Pure Morning" on our local radio station.
I wish someday i could sing underwater like brian molko
A pen pal i had in the 90s sent me a mix tape that had this song & "Scared Of Girls" on it. I had never heard Placebo before.. i'm so thankful for that gift.
This is prolly my favorite Placebo song. When I start to have anxiety attacks I'll sing the choirs and it always calms me down. Love the. So much!!
Singing is great for uplifting your spirits, it's exercise and releases endorphins.
Valium is better
'I've never been an extrovert, but I'm still breathing...'
Not sure if it's relevant to the song, but I just learned that 36° is the amount of rotation between nucleotides in the DNA double helix. FUN FACTS.
Fun Fact: 98 Degrees is a band name and also the tilt of Uranus. Draw your own conclusions.
Indeed, we are all some kind of meat, and as we all know, meat is the apex expression of DNA. It can never be more.
I grew up with this band and I'm so happy i did!
Jay Mason Same
Hey!!! You're still alive? c:
I like it so much how this song was re-recorded and performed in a slow way a decade later. Time only proved how good it is.
I'm crying I love them so much
No you weren't you drama queen
💜
@@kickflip2000 yep, you try and fight it and you lose and yet your still good with it.
The second verse guitar entrance is phenomenonal...then it burns for the whole verse solid as fuck.
Yes.
Fuck yes
old song of Placebo is best.
Depressive my arse. These lads are happiness
i would give practically anything to see placebo live 😍
+Emily Howes (Em) they are really really really good. seen them twice but i'd gladly see them again
Misspol222 hopefully they'll tour for their 20th anniversary!!

UPDATE: I'M SEEING THEM IN DECEMBER BLESS
+Em THAT'S SO AWESOME, I'M GOING TO SEE THEM IN NOVEMBER OMFG
One of the best late 90s emotional rock album.
1,4,2,9,7,8, feels like I'm going to suffocate...
The school system honestly feels like it now, with harder and harder exams and the amount we have to revise growing it sucks the life out of you ... all just to work in some shitty office building.
the first song that i heard from this group when this album came out. gosh i'm old.
Found out about this song today. Loving it. Gonna listen to more Placebo in the next days. Happy quarantine.
This was the song on my myspace page when I was 9 lol
Same!
the hardest drum party of the world *_* Love this song
One of my favourite songs of all time!
Sencillamente brillante! Espíritu adolescente en su versión dolor!!! Crecimos pero escuchamos el dolor y la inquietud.
my life is so bad that a dope and you're music keep me alive. You my love, Brian.
This was the first rock band i got into. I was probably about 13 ish when it came out. Everyone else at school listened to jungle music and trance etc.. They thought i was the weirdo 🙄
This song is so unique
Pure dynamic, we love it !!
So thankful you have shared these.
Quite possibly the best gift anyone could ask for xxx
Much love.

anyone know what the numbers refer to?
@@jonathanhemming Different theories posted online over the years. The older ones maintain that the numbers, According to Brian Molko, have no meaning, but they just seemed to fit (with the exception of 36 degrees for which he said in an interview "it’s called that because 36 degrees is close to body temperature"). Other more recent theories would say that "14 is the age Brian Molko lost his virginity, 16 is when he lost it to another guy and 22 is when he had is first threesome. As for the rest of the numbers people have speculated that 4723985 is the number of the French girl he lost it to or maybe the old phone number for the apartment he shared with Stef when they were first starting out." My own personal opinion is perhaps just some numbers one would say to themselves if going through a panic attack or anxiety attack to calm themselves down... at least that's what I thought when I first heard the song in my teenage years!
Bravo un des meilleur groupes qui rythme ma vie depuis sa sortie. Pour moi ça a bien vieilli et c est top
'my band' forever ❤:,)
Soooo Good!
Grazie Brian ❤️
Someone tried to do me ache
amazing
I finally got to see Placebo live, I've waited years for this day and they didn't sing this song which is my favorite song 🥲 but overall they are amazing live!
Did they perform mainly songs from their new album or was the concert more balanced?
@@criteriumgaming9457 They mainly performed their older songs, and a few of their new songs 🙂 the setlist was great in my opinion!
As this musical work Exceeds Limits and time since it was created .. If keeping current modern eternalized!

Their first album was a great start for the band to show the world their kind of style and set the basis for a new wide open chapter in the musci industry. Obviously later albums have been far superior but you can see how their sound was clear here with minimum experimentation.
SHOULDERS TOES AND KNEES
❤❤❤🎸
Fuckin love this song
Stefan is singing the chorus in that part? 2:05 "Shoulders Toes and Knees... Degrees". I think so!
Esto me da fuerzas jajaja
🌈💖
Fuckin awesome
Emily: Me too!
This should have been the opening track imo...
"i never been and extrovert but i'm still breathing"
It is only a question of aesthetics, if you are beautiful you can afford to be depressed and introverted because others are looking for you.
i was trinygo to draw a decagon so i looked up 36 degrees. now i'm here lol.
And may your life be forever changed for the far better

Not that I'm complaining but why did Placebo and Gorillaz suddenly decide to upload their old tracks? Is it just cuz they're hitting milestones or something?

Anyone know what the numbers refer to?
Molko said in an interview that there's no hidden meaning behind the numbers. He just picked what sounded good and flowed well together.
