Resident Evil 2 & 3 Music and Ambience Megamix

- This video is a compilation of over an hour of Resident Evil ambient sounds and music from Resident Evil 2 (1998) and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999). The purpose of this video is to evoke the vibe of both games without any of the the noise, action and distractions. Presented here are the ambient, quiet and contemplative moments, elements the early RE games had in spades. Environments and music have been edited together for a smooth experience in visuals and sound. This video will be benefit those who want to experience the atmosphere of Resident Evil 2 & 3 without wanting to play the game, and for those who may want to enjoy a continuous, flowing Resident Evil "mix tape" style playlist meshed with in-game graphics.
I've attempted to preserve the flow of story beats starting from September 28th and onward. I did however take a bit of artistic liberty in sequencing, sound design and editing in order to create more of an experience. Let me know what you liked or didn't like in the comments. I have also cropped everything to fit a 16:9 aspect radio but kept the proportions in tact. There is some camera panning similar to that of the Resident Evil REmake and Resident Evil 0 widescreen modes.

Thanks to Capcom for these games. I do not own any of the material presented here. This video serves as an artistic interpretation of the original games, and presents an alternative experience for fans of the these games, the music found therein and the Resident Evil series in general.
I love that you mixed these tracks in chronological order, helps immersion!
Thanks for noticing!
Yeah man, so much better than alphabetically 😂😜 (i say this as a dj😂)! In all seriousness tho, this was amazing, I'm putting up halloween decorations as I speak for the annual haunted Rave and this year I have gone overboard on silent hill thème for texture and res evil for puzzles, imagine if you can somewhere in Normandie a big old house half of which is been renovated (as in completely bear stone walls just floors and staircases) this is a soundtrack to which make I am making an escape room/party/Rave all in one! Never has a lunatic voluntaraly screwed so many square meters of seriously rusty corrugated iron to his futur house!
Or built a silenthillesque grandfather clock /slidy door that opens by removing a hidden peg allowin one to rotate the rusty shards of metal which pass as clock hands ratcheting up a rusty chain which unlocks the peg lock and simultaneously knocks a rusty weight down from the top of the clock with a loud starteling bang, the weight been connected to a magnetised tray of fake flesh containing a metal key via a chain which rises to the height of a small hole on the side of the clock just big enough to fit one's fingers thru and pinch said key (because gravity and physics and forethought and the fact that both the weight and tray were connected by a second chain looped over a pulie!). Crazy Adam out! Back to decorating.... if only I could tag photos...
Any way all that to say that this litle gem of a mix really got the creative juicies flowing so thank you ❤
Still coming back to this during writing projects. It's absolutely perfect.
It is crazy how good the soundtrack in Resident Evil 2 was. Timeless.
There'll never be anything else like it. They can try all they want.
I love listening this especially at end of September 28th and beginning of the October ❤
I’ve slept to this so many nights now it’s beautiful and amazing ilove it when my friend comes over we’re sleeping to this
This is what I wanted, mix of RE2 + RE3 (my two favorite REs), thank you
Very B.A.S.E.D bro...nostalgia....early 2000s were the BEST. now everything sucks.
Nothing about this video is from the early 2000’s
@@amuroray9115Here we go eh? 🙄. Another muppet who can’t see the wood for the trees (him, not you).
Nostalgia and saying “things were better in my day” is just the brain’s way of shielding us against feeling lonely, isolated and out of touch.
That’s why every generation says that.
I enjoyed growing up in the 90s for a bunch of reasons but it was very difficult to get access to quality information. The internet was painfully slow to navigate, and most of us were brainwashed by pop culture.
Nowadays, you can learn so much online, often for free! Whether it’s DIY, cooking, languages, agriculture, history, listen to ASMR videos consisting of music from a videogame franchise, and so on.
Life in 1st world countries is full of time-saving conveniences, from Amazon deliveries, smartphone, online banking, even frickin’ air fryers 😂.
It’s astounding how absolutely every generation without fail reminisces about how much better they believe life was in the “good old days” when the reality is the present is full of obvious advantages that are taken for granted, including RUclips 😂
Exactly loved the 90s and 2000s games they were the best 🥰😍
I was looking for such a terrific and relax RE remix like this! Thank you!
The way you showed every save room from each level that’s beautiful amazing ilove it so much
I'm listening to this pretty much daily. Thank you for your hard work.
extremely immersive for writing! Thank you very much for this.
I'm happy that you've found some good use for this!
@@rpdjanitor8490 three months later and I'm still writing to this mix. It's perfect. Brings back all the memories of being 10 years old and getting lost in the RPD on Friday nights on my big brother's PS1.
Crazy that a janitor did all of this
My favourite levels in 3 are the clock tower and the park which are, unfortunately, missing in the remake.
The 41:30 part and the 42:20 marshaling yard are my favorite ost, it sounds great as it gives me a feeling that the game is almost over a calm feeling that the game is almost over but there is still one last thing left danger to face 🤘😎👌
I can’t put my finger on why I enjoy them so much. They sound relaxing (kinda) but just mysterious enough to stir up some intrigue about where we’re headed next.
The marshalling yard track matches the outdoor area where the giant yellow elevator is located. It’s as though finally you can breathe some fresh air, but only for a moment before descending into whatever’s down there 😮
such a great work!
doing my job and helps me concentrate thanks a lot!
3:38 the room i remember of all.
I love the chronological order! Thank you!
Wooowwww this is a great mix!!
Thank you.
I wish you had more videos i love your content!!!! 😊😊😊
This is such a good resi ambience channel, one of the best ive come across.
Awesome!
Amazing❤
Muy bien por orden cronológico 👏🏽😉
Thanks
Great video, very relaxing. Many of the rooms in the Resident Evil series look cozy. Wish as fans we could get a proper TV series starting from the very beginning. Show us day to day life in Raccoon City, introduce the characters at their jobs like it was any normal day. Stick with the source material but don't follow it to a T so we know what to expect every time, throw some twists and turns to keep it interesting. Welcome to Raccoon City had the atmosphere down pretty good, but it was an abomination to include both the first and second game into the film.
Maybe one of these days.
Why do you say not to follow the story to a T? That’s what ruins every video game to movie adaption. They shouldn’t even bother making anything else live action for RE. It doesn’t work. The games are fine as is.
I'm praying Netflix or someone picks up that Arklay show that was supposed to go into the life of a police detective at the RPD. They released an amazing 15 minute concept video that knocked it out of the park. Was gonna go into the expansion of the hospital, creation and formation of the STARS Team, and how to virus is slowly leaking into the city.
@@Me-yq1fl I beat all the games. The stories of the old RE games are great. You’re just making excuses for the crappy movie adaptations.
Maybe Stephen King would do a good adaptation. The whole Idea is similar to his style. In terms of RE story, I only really like RE 1 and 2. A good adaptation Idea could be focused on the STARS members. Introduce them as characters in normal life and then have the Virus and mansion plot enter into the story line.
@@outerspaceman7534you couldn’t beat an egg in a mixing bowl my guy; calm down yeah 🤣
I just realised, jill is voiced by the actress who voiced jean grey
They make the same orgasm-type sounds
Nice

14:08 Glad I didn’t sleep with this on 🔔 🔔 🔔
Omg ilove it
Interesting. The music at 48:04 sounds like something straight out of Dino Crisis.
Wouldn’t know. I played the demo and it “sucked” as we said back then
53:12 - to make it perfect you only need to hear M.D.'s tape record)
54:49 - made turning around wondering where the heck is water leaking in the office )))
11:39 looking for this track on its own - what's it called?
That one's Never Give Up The Escape I think - ruclips.net/video/TDoXLGBOopg/видео.html
Please put a track time list in the comments or description?
54:55 sleeping ❤

What's the name of the track from 1:02
Safe room RE3

I listened to this mix countless times and only today I noticed that it uses our upscaled backgrounds. Thank you!🥹
