Great video as always Adam - keep up the good work - switched from Ducati Streetfighter V4 to Aprilia RSV4 and 5k miles later haven’t looked back - Aprilia 💪
What makes you like the Aprilia more?
@@JQiRamos everything - smother bike, better handling, better suspension, to make it short - Ducati is a good bike but you have to spend money to get it right (tune the suspension, tune the ecu, etc.). Also had some issues with the Ducati (maybe mine was a one off - nothing serious but down time enough to make it annoying). The Aprilia comes great out the box. Mods are icing on the cake and parts cost a lot less.
Both are great bikes, personally I’d take the Tuono because I have so many fond memories with it for the past 10 years
Adam looks like he is gonna walk on water at any moment
look like he push grocery cart on the side of the road
And a better rider and person than either of you
@@drewmoto732 man you really came here simping hard. life must be hard when you can't understand a bit of harmless humor
@@drewmoto732 yep. Nice man.
1.5 speed sounds much more natural
I didn't believe you until i did it lmao
1.25 is perfect.
This guy get to much weed :)))
Hahaah so truuue thanks
Thanks...I thought is was just me being annoyed at his speech ...smh
Adam may not have gone full MC Commute on this beast, but he gave it a thorough review. His comments on the engine and ride quality alone are worthy of our attention. Superlative comments for a special machine!
This is not an MC Commute, it’s a press ride.
even when the mainstream publications come up with an original idea, they eventually ruin it by turning it into an advertisement. Long live the Daily Rider segment, the only true untainted 'commute' segment of videos.
Pretty sure it says MC Commute. You should watch again and double check, lol.
@@AdamWaheed Call it what you want, the people know what it is and what it isn’t. Not against it, I enjoy watching all the bikes, just no need to muddy MC Commute with a press ride. Walk outside your house, go to the office and try to back it in as you pull up. That’s an mC Commute. Btw, the top comment says,”This is not an MC Commute..” the people agree. Listen to them.
@@freebehindbars8654 nice man. Fair enough.
Great review as always, Adam. Thank you and keep up the great work.
Thanks for the review Adam and love the new Tuono too. Nice one 👍
Thanks man.
I want this bike. Thanks for the great review Adam
Picked up my 21 Tuono Factory 3 weeks ago, I have owned a 2016, 2018 previously and I have to say this is my favorite, handling is even more precise, bike feels more nimble and the suspension soaks up the bumps much better, being more comfortable is nice too! Bravo Aprilia!!
Got one two weeks ago, I agree, the suspension variation on this is greeeaaaat
Just wanted to confirm: new 2021 Tuono model has heated grips and cruise control unlike the Ducati Street Fighter?
@@Kevin_Ho70 cruise control yes, heated grips no.
@@Kevin_Ho70 Has cruise control but no heated grips.

Adam riding a new Tuono? Instant "like"! Not a normal ride, but good commentary!
Following Jamie Robinson on the stock V4 on the FWY you can tell by the motogeo cap flapping in the breeze. Solid review thanks Adam!
Hey yeah
Well spotted 👍
Well done and insightful discussion of the new gen Tuono. I have a 2017 and love that machine...thinking of the upgrade with this cycle because of the new semi-active suspension as a matter of fact. Part of the issue is that there are very few in the USA at the moment and deliveries are not there yet as opposed to other machines that are delivering.
But, this still is at the top of my list. Adam if you see this sir, worth the upgrade from a '17 Factory for the new suspension?
Nice review, a mate is soon to get one ... think I'm more excited than he is now that I've seen this!
Thanks for the full transparency, Adam.
I've never paid too much attention to Aprilia- way outta my price range but this bike- in the non-factory version, of course- is to my liking. Still too damn expensive but it sure seems like a nice bike if you can only own one bike. Perhaps down the road there's a used one in my future. Great review, Adam!
Adam, ignore the haters, your cadence and style are great. I still love my 2018 rr - every time I ride it is an event, and the sound never gets old, pure joy.
His delivery is great, this isn’t an MC Commute, it’s a press ride, aka a commercial.
Yep. Thanks man.
telling him he talks slow is not hating bro. It's an observation. And it's amusing as well.
Making a bit of fun of that is not hating, jeez.
Snowflakes everywhere
Awesome awesome very thorough review, what a great job!!!
Good fair review, thanks for the effort. Are you planning to review the 2022 S1000R Sport ?
Thanks man. We are not scheduled to operate this vehicle. Maybe next year.
Awesome bike! Awesome review!
This --was--an--incredible--review.
😂😂😂
How do you think that this motorcycle compares to a Yamaha MT10 or a MT10SP ?
Great review Adam, great bike also
Excellent, thorough review.
8:03 If you were unaware, Aprilia pulled out of the world superbike since 2015. They had the IodaRacing team riding with Aprilia in 2016 and 2017, and SMR in 2017 and 2018 (who now race as BMW motorrad factory team), but those are satellite teams who got little support from the factory.
To this day I still cannot understand the decision why they did as such, especially considering they won the championship in 2014 and were fighting for the top in 2015.
as a smaller company, they probably wanted to concentrate more on MotoGP. Just a guesstimate.
@@marlounbayari1288 Which is fine, but then why still focus all your marketing on previous wins in a championship you are no longer part of? And as a small motorcycle team, why focus on a championship you are likely not going to be running at the front anyways?
And also, any experience from world superbike can be used in development of the road-bikes, whilst motogp knowledge barely, if at all, carries over.
Well again, I am still extremely confused as to why anyone at Aprilia thought this was a smart move to make.
@@tHaH4x0r Totally agree. If they put more focus in WSBK I feel it would be more bang for buck PR wise. They would be at the front with a couple good riders in WSBK.
They trying to win with the V 65 engine config, but realise that a real proto against others prototypes is another game, never win but the Cube in gp bike championship
ya, ya, ya, gimme this good stuff. Literally my dream bike. Where does he test it? In the canyons of course. Great job waheed on getting to the nitty gritty. The only thing i do not like about this bike is the dealer network. Nearest dealer is about 2 hours away. The sound is wonderful so ill just have to get two and keep swapping parts lol. I also think they should just give you a tester for a week to do a track + commute + canyon section in your own time.
I find the plastics, where the passenger seat would be, ugly on the factory model. Are there any good aftermarket parts to change that?
I have a 18 Tuono. Such an amazing bike.
Nice review Adam! Being more laid back I would lean toward the standard model.
Yep. Fair enough. Me too.
I certainly LOVE my Aprilia!!!!
Aaaah Adam on the tuono! *grabs coffee*
Nice review!!!
only thing this bike need its a bit better fuel economy
soft limiter is there ?
Triumph Speed Triple RR to come out soon. What one would you choose?
Tuono 100%
ID love to own one but the dealer support sucks. I am not having a bike towed 3 hours if something goes wrong.
Aprilia just has a lot of “Technical Updates” constantly having to bring the bike back to the dealer… I love the bikes, I hate piaggio as a brand because they are terrible at customer support and dealer support… I will not be giving them any of my money
Tuono baby 😎
Is the stock pipe too quite?
The standard Tuono is actually really affordable is there a huge difference between it and the factory version?
Mostly suspension. 99.9% of us mere mortals wouldn't know the difference :)
This is such a fenomenal bike!
Making up words is fun, huh?
@@kwisclubta7175 yeah, all day every day
What's would be the setting equivalent to rain mode?
Basically 'touring' mode as it has softest throttle response and highest abs. But as you can change traction control on the fly, you can make a 'rain mode' within a second, no matter what mode you have currently. That's brilliant, absolutely love it!
I. Always. Have. A. Soft. Spot. For. Aprilia. Good. Re.view. by. The. Way.
@ 4:20.....lol, "this thing is so sick braaap, braaaap, braaaap, i can do this all day and night"!......i about spit out my beer cuz you can really tell he meant it.......was classic, never forget it
Nice video! I was waiting when would Max Wrist fly by at 120 during the intro :D :D
It this video in slowmotion?
The standard and factor have different passenger seats. Are the passenger seat sections interchangeable? It almost looks like they have the same tail with the standard bike just using a larger removable passenger seat section and the factory using a small race tail type passenger seat. It would be cool to have the standard bike and then get a factory passenger seat to put on when you will not have passengers and have the racier look.
The windshield looks like it is easy to remove with accessible screws now. Also, if you bought the different handle bar risers you could fairly quickly adjust from the factory low bars to the high bars. So if the passenger seat is interchangeable and the windshield is easily swapped and you can swap handlebar risers, it means you can very quickly go from Race Tuono to Touring Tuono very easily. You can do this with either version of the bike.
You get another passenger seat with the factory but pegs are higher there. Also lengthy brake line and clutch cable for the tourer version
So not the same bike
@@40cristogrr I know there are differences. Just curious if I could use the rear seat from factory on standard bike. And the longer brake lines might still be ok lowering the handlebars.
They let you loose on Crest?! Nice 😀😀
By the way, which place is this? Beautiful place.!
Wowww feri goid👍👍
i really wanna test ride an RS660 but i dont know if id be ok coming from an mt09..... really i want the factory v4. are they worlds apart?
x2 Worlds
У Априлии 660 есть проблемы с двигателями, была отзывная компания меняли движки, так как они взрывались, и цена на 660 завышена
@4:56 I wish my Ducati Panigle V4S had that feature.
How’s the engine heat Adam….btw totally love the way you deliver your lines…good bless🙌🙌
The engine heat is not bad, It actually feels a bit better than my monster 821.
@@ferdelance7474 thanks brother..👍👍
@@ferdelance7474 I doesn't get as hot as my Ferrari, but it's slightly warmer than the engine on my yacht. Of course, it's nothing compared to the heat that comes off of my Gulfstream G650. I totally own all of those things and I am in no way mentioning all of them as a humble brag. Now worship me, internet strangers, for my life is meaningless without your recognition and praise.
@@kwisclubta7175 yeah, I had similar experiences with my lynx and Gumpert, except the owning things for praise is just stupid (I hate ducati fanboys)...also being bitter and escalating something that was just an innocent bit of info.
These are much better videos when he's on his own.
So jealous, Adam love your vids and narration... good lord that is a sexy bike! Most people dont know but Aprilia is Italian Slang for "Midlife Crisis" true story.
Can we get Adam a smoother talking map from Aprilia too?
Aprilia is surely working on a map that make people like adam talk smoothly 😁
Turn on the CC function and mute the video. Sometimes the CC doesn't make sense but I'm not sure it's the CC or Adam. :)
DRLs look great
🔥🏍
Angeles Crest Highway 👌🏼👌🏼
I just wish Aprillia would get a bit more adventurous with the styling.
A minor quibble, but still.
Currently I'm hearing a lot of moaning that Newcomb's is now closed.
Price is fair for best bike in class and componets...Japanese are cheaper but won't be by the time you upgrade all the parts to be equal to Aprilia.....and if you don't need them get a base version for 15k
Supersport litre bikes are 17-18k and don't come with brakes or suspension these do
Pretty sick bike
I love it
That. Was. A. Great. Review. Thank you. Adam. Waheed. 😜
❤❤❤
p.s. As per usual, pay no attention to the haters. Please keep being you. Much love.
Speed 1.25 if you don't want to fall asleep
For a minute, I thought this was Slow Adam from the Howard Stern Show.
U spent 20 minutes on the side of the road...?
Regarding the braking/stopping distances of cars vs motorcycles, cars in general stop faster. A schmuck driving a minivan can pull off 1g stop. Even experienced riders on modern ABS-equipped motorcycles are typically in the 0.7g range. Therefore, I don’t think we’re surprising too many cagers by our ability to stop.
With a 33 inch seat height it looks like you need to be 6 feet to ride this, i dont think my 29 inseam will be getting near the ground, seems a strange height to make it as only 5% of the population is over 6 feet
If it were 30 inch, smaller people could buy and 6 footers still reach the ground opening up the market for many
I hope the reliability of these has improved.
Yea it's hit and miss. My 17 is still problem free, yet I know a friend who got the 19 who had shit ton of problem.
Mostly trouble free miles according to local owners, and issues are very well documented. The previous gens are everywhere around Quebec City.
I've got a '15 1100 and it has been absolutely flawless (45'000 kms). Lots of other 1100s being owned by local riders which I know personally, nobody has any issues.
Obviously there will be the occasional lemon, but generally these are solid bikes since they introduced the 1100 engines.
@@Ozmeister666 come on dont lie to us.....you work for aprilia?
I know plenty of riders that had various issues with the earlier model. It concerns me because there aren’t a ton of Aprilia dealerships around.
Maverick Vinales tries to literally go out with a bang and all of a sudden I start to care about Aprilia
Hard to watch at normal speed. Had to use 1.25 to make it bearable
Is it just me or does Adam have a moment and makes a mess in his pants when he wheelied?
Can you please speak
in sentences?
Would make the review alot more pleasurable to watch.
Just increase video speed
@@tHaH4x0r This ^^^ 2.0 speed works perfectly.
Play it at 1.25x speed, makes it a better watch. More natural.
No.
Maybe he's trying to become the next Captain of the Enterprise?
Great bike , no doubt . Ps : Why do you speak so slow ? Maybe I’m too much used to Louis Rossmann videos :)
Louis is so great. Odd to see him mentioned on such a random video. I could listen to Louis all day. This guy? Pfft!
If you are after a bargain super naked, and are prepared to take a slight gamble on reliability, the Tuono V4 is staggering value for money. It is a no-holds-barred, full-on, lunatic of a bike and simply outstanding when let off its leash. They dont sell, peopel do not buy this bikes. wau do you think peopel but Kawasaki, Yamaha and HOnda? quality.
Adam always sounds like Adam Weed instead of Adam Waheed.
Nice bike, but I don't trust the reliability enough to spend my money on one.
Couldn't watch till the end as this guy sounds like his batteries are failing or he overdid his meds.
Can we still call that a naked?
Adam looks like he doesn’t care anymore
Monotone like crazy
He only talks this way on this channel que?
Not really the MC Commute
1.75 speed sounds normal
I thot that was a hobo doing review at the start of the video! =D
Im ok with your presentation adam =)
Wow this is unwatchable with the commentary.
SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bro..... why are you talking like a robot.......
why do you speak so slowly now have you been vaccinated
Are you sleeping while speaking?
I wish.
Waiting on that Tesla self riding tech to trickle down @@AdamWaheed ?
@@JoshuaTootell lol. Good one.
If you watch this at 1.25 speed he actually talks normal persons speed. Adam “smokes a lot of” waheed 😂😂
Naked sport bike? Eh, looks more like a stripper in pasties and a thong but I still like it. LOL
Why TF does this guy talk like that? Did he hit his head or something? Guy seems to have a real hard time formulating words. Seriously, wtf? Like every single word requires 100% of his brain power.
What's wrong with this guy ? He sounds like Steven Hawking for the last few minutes on the freeway.
Gave up after 9 minutes of guff . Struggle to watch this guy as he sounds stoned.
It would've been nice to have a human do the review.

Really don't like these style of press rides.
