You do not understand what you are doing. You are bridging all 4 amplifiers and sending 1550 watts (Bridged at 8 ohms) to each of the 4 individual 8 ohm drivers; however, You only need to use 1 Crown XLS2500 for each dual 18 Speaker cabinet. Rather than send it through the BI-AMP Speakon Jack, You will run it though the PARALLEL Speakon Jack that is just below it. That way you will be connecting to a 4 OHM load (which is both 8 ohm woofers in Parallel). One XLS2500 amp will put out 2,400 watts into that 4 Ohm Load - which is the recommended Program Power for each of those Peavey Sub Cabinets. You will be happy!!! You now have 2 Crown XLS2500's to sell - or use elsewhere.
That’s what I was thinking all he had two do is run 1 4pin cable from 1amp to 1 cabinet and another 4pin cable from another amp to the other cabinet problem solved
these cabs are 2400 watts program @ 4ohms. Each speaker (given that it is a ProRider) can only handle 1200 watts program @ 8ohms. Seems a bit overkill if you're using four amps to push 8 Ohm speakers when you can run them with only one amp bridged at 4 ohms. That way you have two extra amps available to push more subs or mains. Just my opinion..
Thanks for this bro. I use a peavey 5000 to power both cabinets (all four woofers) but not happy with the sound. Do you think I am under-powering them?
No problem thanks for watching. Yes I would push 2500 watts on each speaker at least. But I must be honest , my 1800 watt powered jbl 18" subs on both sides of the stage blow these widows away . I set the widows in the center of the stage and they could not keep up with the jbls full rich bass. So I was a bit disappointed
did you bother to check for phase cancellation???? try it just JBL and then Just the widows.... i was helping a friend with sound at a show, he was running 4 QSC powered sub. 3600 watts he boasted....... sounded shitty. i asked him if i could change a few things he said sure.....i took 2 of the subs put them on one side 1 facing forward one butted up behind it facing away to the rear. reconfig. bam massive bass 100 times better bottom end. He looked at me and said wtf!! i laughed and said bass problem solved!

Read my Comment Below FIRST: You said that your amps are Bridged at 88 ohms??? I think you meant to say 88hz which might be your High-Pass Frequency Limit. Anyway, I wanted to add that You will not need the 4 Pin Speakon connector. You will only need to use either a 2 Pin Speakon Connector... or a 4 Pin Speakon but only use pins 1+ and 1- to plug into the Parallel Jack.
The Black Widow drivers aren't very good to be honest, they have mediocre sound quality and don't have enough xmax to move much air, if you push them they will fail wheras JBL, EV, RCF etc..you can push hard and they keep on going. I used to have Peavey dual 15" subs loaded with Black Widow drivers and they blew easily so I sold them and bought some JBL MP418S single 18" subs and I hammered them HARD for hours and hours each night for years and they still handled everything I pounded through them. I think Peavey are rock band speakers, they definately don't like oldskool hardcore rave or drum & bass.
These are the low end Black widows. The low riders and low max are a completely different animal. They sound good and In the right cab have frequency response down to 24Hz.
To be very honest at the price of those two amps combined you could have gotten the xls 2500 version instead and just throw into bridge mode no need to do this ridiculous overcomplicated configuration. Just my opinion no hate intended
wy not sell the 2500s and just get a amp that will drive the subs at 4 ohms like the peavy ipr..amps...4 amps for two boxes and driving them each...way two much work 4 me but to each his own good luck....
This guy sounds like he's living the life
Badass setup. Love it would love to hear!!!!

@@trinidadgonzalez4753peavy subs suck to begin with and all he needed was a crown xls2500 just 2 of them to throw them into bridge mode

I have the new sp218 and I definitely need more power the old Crown amps that I have or for the older models these new ones are double the power
the unboxing of these beasts is a chore. LOL.

@@williamkillingsworth2619 Bro, you really fall for the bullshit specs that peavy puts out? Lol goodluck get even near 24 hz on a peavy sub😂
