It really is. Ugly. Cruel. There's a reason people keep equating Christian Nationalists to the Taliban. All U.S. citizens need to understand that this "handbook" will be around long after Trump, but if he gets into office they will use him to further this agenda.

Contracts and documents like this one are most often written in.more than 144 characters, meaning many will not read do to the perceived "heavy lift" of reading.
They'd rather have a meme, a short, or an audible product to present it to them.
So most won't read or therefore explore and therefore critically think and therefore develop the right questions to ask....all to the known benefit of those who architect guidance docs like P-25.
That doesn't surprise me. The media has hardly mentioned it. They seem to be ignoring the likelihood that they themselves will be done away with should this be enacted. Without the repetition of the danger of this looming doom (like they repeated the stumblings of Biden), people will not pay attention. I really don't think anyone really learned from their disbelief that Trump could win in 2016. I get the feeling they think it's unlikely again this time, much less for something so outrageous as P.2025. I fear they will ignore it like it's a big conspiracy. And once it's in, it'll be too late.

My county did somewhat better, but you could never call it adequate. we’ve been teaching our kids ourselves. Not homeschooling but talking about the world and teaching them.

I agree. I think most of these people are narcissists and sociopaths. To them, it may be more about power. They may very well equate power with love. Perhaps it actually means more to them when they are the one controlling it. I had a relative like this. It seemed more desirable for them to try to force it rather than earn it.

@@beayn The UK Conservative government limited peaceful protest, tried voter suppression (one fool even admitted they were trying to stop the "wrong type" voting), openly broke international law and wanted to leave the ECHR, which deals with human rights. Thankfully we voted them out of power recently. At least we are a mostly secular society, so don't have to worry about the religious far right - just the near fascist far right. When Trump threatens to be a dictator from day one and picks Vance, I'd be tempted to worry.

However, the left has been working very hard to impose their own ideals on the people. Censorship, doxing, thought control via the MSM, indoctrination through education, income redistribution, the list goes on. If you don't believe it possible take a long look at Trudeau's Canada, and really dig into some of the crazy shit he's done to those people.
As you pointed out, the political spectrum isn't a line it's a loop. Too far in either direction and you come to the same place. History proves this. If you've really been paying attention, whicj you very possibly have, it doesn't matter what side of the aisle you're on. The elites in our society want absolute control. Period. The people are screwed either way if either extreme left or the extreme right are given power.

Thank you for posting this. One thing that I heard recently that you didn't go into here, is when they talk about banning pornography, they aren't talking about what most people think. For them, that includes books that show a sympathetic gay character, and it includes textbook sex education. I think that needs to get out louder.

While outlawing pornography might sound good to some, it should be taken into account that they also want to redefine pornography as any mentioning of LGBTQ persons. If, say, a library has any book mentioning any such person (event if it's not explicit/adult content in any way), the librarian could be convicted for distributing pornography.
And there are many more points in that agenda which are catastrophic not only for the American people, but for the world: for example the absolute focus on fossil forms of energy production and the rejection of any kind of energy efficiency policies.
A great but frightening summary of this very real threat to US democracy! Thanks for taking the time to expose this to the electorate. I hope America votes wisely.

Religion has had a powerful effect on society for a long time, and it is key to understanding a lot of important literature and even casual references. There is reason to teach it as literature. But not as religion. And yes, texts from other faiths should be available because stories and history from other parts of the world should be taught..

I sincerely hope the couple in this story are able to achieve their dreams of becoming parents. I’ve been trying to sound the alarm on project 2025 long before it gained the attention it has in recent weeks. We must fight for democracy and against this nation becoming a theocracy!
I am transgender. What happens to me once this becomes reality? There have already been states that have pushed to have children removed from the home if they or their parent(s) are LGBTQ. Does that become my reality? Does it then become legal for my job to fire me because I am trans*? Do I have to fear being arrested if I set foot outside my house as myself? Do I have to fear being exterminated? I mean, where does this end? And please, don't tell me this cannot happen here, because it certainly can. This should be a foregone conclusion that The Donald is about to get blown out and the Dems are about to have insurmountable leads for the next generation. But, the Pubs have a legit shot at taking the White House and both chambers of Congress. I am genuinely scared for my future and that of every one of my LGBTQ peers.

I've got someone that's close to me that's a Trump supporter. This woman broke down in tears and accused me of not loving my country for suggesting that his rhetoric had a hand in him almost getting shot in the face. With Biden out of the race and Kamal making Trump run scared, he's running out of his big plays before he even got a chance to use them properly. So now he's literally throwing shit at the wall like an angry monkey without the good sense that it got in the situation it's in.

Project 2025 is absolutely chilling……. I have volunteered to work the polls for these elections but more and more I realize I can’t just sit and be a silent worker. Those jobs are important of course and need to be done but I am definitely feeling the draw to be more of a voice, speaking out against this proposed tyranny. It is just sickening to me, especially knowing how sincere the average Christian American is because I used to be one.
