  • My 2 best gals are going on a road trip today! But this is no ordinary road trip, this is 'THE' road trip as Sharon and our beautiful and sweet cat Prim are making the road trip over to our new 575 acre Missouri farm! Just for some background, Prim, has a lot of prior life stress as she was abused in her first life as we adopted her from the pound over a decade ago and she is very, very shy, and she gets VERY stressed out when put in a kennel or in a car. So much so that she pukes, poops and pees constantly and drools a lot and moans a lot. It is very sad to hear and experience, but we have no choice today. And we have tried sedatives from a vet but even with those it just exacerbates here stress and causes more vomiting, pooping and peeing. So here goes nothing, Sharon and Prim are going on the final road trip over to our new Missouri farm for our new life beginnings! Join us to today's episode!
We have been taking several trips per week hauling over household items and equipment, and while we are at the Missouri farm we have been working to clean out the home, do some tractor bush hogging to get control of the overgrown fields and trails at the Missouri farm and start the food plotting process on every trip as well. Needless to say it has been a very busy couple of months for us and it will only intensify in the coming weeks as we finalize the entire Southern Illinois homestead move over to our new Missouri homestead forever home and land! Here is some more background and the latest update videos from ‪@KapperOutdoors2.0‬ and our whole Missouri farm moving process:

SEEMED TO BE A BIG FAIL!! But fear not! As we always do, and this excellent Missouri contractor and work crew, kept at it, well into overtime to figure out the problem with the over one mile long high speed fiber optic internet install! Today is an UP to the minute quick update on the Missouri 575 acre farm! Here are a couple of recent episodes if you are new to the channel that I believe you will enjoy!

Was this Divine Intervention? While many may not believe, I do keep the faith when it comes to living this life and putting certain priorities above others. Join me for today's episode #1 of our new life, land and Ozarks Missouri adventures! Recently we bought a 575 acre Southern Missouri farm in the Ozarks and today will be our first moving trip, our first road trip after legally owning the new 575 acre Missouri farm, and all of the adventures that go along with it. Join us for today's episode as I begin our moving process from Southern Illinois over to Southern Missouri. Today I'll tackle some of the challenges associated with equipment hauling over such a long distance. In this episode I'll be hauling my KIOTI RX7320 powershuttle cab tractor, my home made chisel disc plow and some other equipment on my equipment trailer. Oh, and I almost had a near disasterous collision in the St. Louis area as a car literally broke down only a few cars ahead of me, so while cruising at 65 mph there was a completely stopped car right in front of me and I had nowhere to go in either lane, left or right of me, so I locked up all of the brakes on my Ford F250 and the equipment trailer, and fortunately I don't tailgate so I had enough room to get my truck and equipment trailer stopped just in the nick of time! Also today I'll give you an up close and realtime view of the dead end gravel road that our new 575 acre Missouri farm sits on, and then a look at our OVER a mile long private gravel driveway as well. This is a very exciting episode and we thank you for joining us! If you enjoyed today's video episode please hit the like button and consider subscribing to join us for all of our new life and land adventures from our new land in the Ozarks of Missouri! Thanks for joining us today and we hope you'll consider joining us on our new Missouri homestead and land purchase and all of our future land adventures, land investment adventures and projects, and all of our new Missouri home rehab projects and much more! Oh and by the way if you are interested in making a Missouri land investment and being our neighbors (literally) on a dead end road, and then a dead end, private, gated road enjoying a stunning place to hunt, or build your dream home or a deep woods retreat then you can contact us at Kapper@kapperoutdoors.com
Thank you, we hope to catch you on our next video adventure! #kapperoutdoors #kapperoutdoors2 #kapperoutdoorsMissouri #missouriland #missourihuntingland

Our 3 cats rode in the back of my wife's suv and behind the front seats was a portion. We'll Max decided to get up front with my wife and he made it around her. Then she had a copilot. While the other 2 stayed in back. Ben he stayed under a cardboard box to hide. Patches was Max's sister. After we got to the new house Patches got sick and died. She was a lot smaller than her brother. Then last year Ben was getting up in years and he wasn't enjoying life anymore and he was 18 years old and we had him put down and cremated. Later on we went to the animal shelter and my wife picked out 2 cats. One was yellow and his name is Rusty and the other cat which is real light colored is Bisque. Rusty is a slob but we love them dearly.

I’ve got a black cat her name is Baby. She was born in the house where I used to live and when the ex came and took all her cats apparently she was left behind. I didn’t know for about a 2 weeks and she was probably about 2 months old but had figured out how to survive on her on. She is the best at hide and seek you’ll never find her. I was putting some groceries away when I heard one of the bags on the floor ruffle and I thought it was a rat that got brave. Turned out to be her. It took a few weeks of talking to her and putting food down until she got used to me. The only person she ever knew was me until I had to move. Every time someone came by the house she would disappear for days. It was like she was mad at me but she’d get over it. I moved into an unfinished cabin I bought and couldn’t bring her with me because keeping the door open so I can work on it she would be gone. She’s never been outside a day in her life except when we moved. She’s staying with my sister and took 2 months to come out of hiding and finally made friends with her. She called me one night to let me hear her meow momma to her. I go by my sisters and she still knows me and maybe one day when my finances are straight and I get my cabin finished she can come stay with me.

Inquiring minds are wanting to know if you are doing all this and still WORKING. Would be wonderful if you took a leave of absence or use a big supply of saved up vacation and sick days. Which are you doing or all the above?? I recommend doing them all!!!!!

Well she took a weeks vacation for the move! And we have one more 'vacation' for her coming up to rent a uhaul for the rest of the stuff! But in due time it will be worth it for us I am confident of that!!
